BLUE MOON'S

BLUE MOON'S
BLACK DRAGON TATTOO

The sun is still hiding behind the clouds. The wind that was blowing felt cold piercing my skin. The parking lot, which was filled with cars last week, now looks like an empty park. There are only a few cars there. The predictable atmosphere.

            Whereabouts?

The black phone I was holding vibrated. My hand immediately typed in the reply of the incoming message.

            Parklands. Whereabouts?

            Still OTW

Seriously? I've been here half an hour.

Ordinary, get Elisha. Wait Aria, she's almost there.

Hemm... I'm going to class first.

The hallways of the campus look quiet. White paint dominant decorate. Time slowed down following my steps. I saw my phone, it was eight o'clock; yet few people came. My class on the third floor has always been my problem and my frustration. The stairs are too high

and many, forcing the feet to step higher. Not only that, my heartbeat will also always work harder. Give more work to my breathing to take longer. The moment I wish this old building had an elevator inside.

The rooms I passed by were still filled with people. My class is at the very end making me go through several rooms first. This old building belongs only to my faculty. Other schools have better facilities. High-rise buildings with large glass, elevators and Escalators have become commonplace. A facility that millennials will love, while my faculty building is still waiting for a reconstruction that does not know when it will begin.

I looked at the old door in front of me. The classroom door, which should still be closed, is now open. I'm sure I was the first one to come. Since arriving, I have not met any of my classmates. My body was silent, for a moment I wanted to move my legs. He's there. Nathan. The mysterious male figure who becomes a freshman. It's been a week and he's always looked alone. Friends in my class once approached her, but the cold nature she had made them choose to retreat and not care about her anymore. Not only women in my class, women from other classes also often seek attention from him. His reply, he just remained silent and did not care.

Nathan's a strange man. Rarely talk and smile. From the first, he prefers to sit in the back seat, although there are still many empty seats in front that he can choose. No one is sitting in the back. He chose a chair next to a window. He's there, sitting in his chair. One of his hands held up his chin. The big window opened, a blue curtain covered it. The wind blew and blew the curtain, as if he felt it shut his eyes and enjoyed it. A smile was scratched on his face. My eyes are staring at him. I wish time would stop then. A sight never before seen by me and the others.

The shirt was light brown and her white skin felt fused in my eyes. The sun that had shone, also spread a sparkling light in his body. His hair seemed to move along to the rhythm of the wind that blows.

            “Zea.?”

I looked at the owner of that voice. My throbbing shoulder received his punch. Aria was standing next to me and looking at my face.

            “Why stand here?”

“Hahh.. Ummmmm.. It's coming in.” My voice sounds awkward. I looked towards the window. Blank. Only the blue curtains were still flying in the wind. Aria was already seated, and the figure of Nathan I had just seen had disappeared. My sight had spread throughout the room but I could not find it.

“Why?” His face looked confused to see me.

“Tadi, looks like I saw Nathan.”

I sat next to him. A brown chair with the main raw material of wood. On one side there is a table. Typical college kids chairs with a small table that blends together.

“Nathan?” Aria pulled out the phone from her pants pocket. The jeans she always wears are a red shirt. “She didn't sign today.”

“Hemmm.” He nodded, his hand pushing my chair away. “Family susan. Brian tells me.”

“Only that?” Aria shrugged both of her shoulders not answering. His face seemed to care nothing. Brian is in charge of the class and Aria's lover. Everything about the class must have been known to Aria. There was nothing he didn't know, with his character he was able to force Brian to tell everything. I was wondering why Brian could so succumb to Aria.

“Hey Zea's.. Where to?” Brian walked over to me. His tall body seemed to dominate the people around him. This time he was wearing a checkered shirt with rolled up arms. A star tattoo is seen on one of his arms. His long black hair was left visible

messier. It doesn't look like a student at all.

“Return. TA yes?” I was jokingly laughing at him.

            “Aria where?”

“Still in class.” Brian stood in front of me. Stopped me from my steps to the parking lot. Both of his eyebrows were furrowed. Waiting for an answer.

“Ntuk.” One word that made him shut up and just nodded at my words. An understanding responsible person.

“September Zea.” His hand pulled my arm. “Nathan how?” His face turned serious.

“Meanway? No entry. It was you who told Aria that she did not enter.” I'm staring. Release his hand. I don't understand the meaning of the question at all.

“I know. But I didn't go in. I know he really didn't come.” Brian looks upset. “Ya done.”

“What's really why?." I asked him.

Brian raised his hand. One of her fingers was placed over her lips, as if telling me to shut up. "He's the Rector's nephew. But I was given orders to watch over him. Weirdo no?” I just laughed to see Brian who was suddenly serious. His behavior was precisely seen he was the one being watched. Not otherwise.

            “I'm serious Zea.”

“Iyaa. Ja. So you know why he moved here? Especially our faculty?”

“Tau.” He nodded his head. His hair also moved. “He moved because in the previous campus there was a problem. But I don't know why, Mr. Rector didn't explain.” I nodded my head. Curious, but I don't want to ask any further either. The heat of the afternoon sun had already affected my head. I say goodbye and leave Brian. I want to go home and rest.

The moon is not visible and the stars are disappearing covered in clouds. The blowing wind blew the white curtain of my bedroom window The blue wall, and the pictures still stuck there reminded me of the memories of the past. Expect to forget, but a memory will still be difficult to remove. It keeps me imprisoned by the past.

The glimpses of the past and my memories of him are re-engraved. First love. A story that love was everything. Building up sky-high wishful thinking. Storms both and always forever. The love that I believe in if fought together will end beautifully. But in the end it only leaves a wound. Every time you try to forget, the shadow continues to come and does not disappear.

When the night comes, and the earth seems to sleep, the sound will come. I always hear it. A scream of sadness and longing. Curious, I finally asked the housekeeper, but they did not hear any sound at all. Only I felt the presence and sadness of that voice. A voice that is always carried by the night wind and up to my ears. Sometimes it sounded more painful, causing me to shed tears. It has no words, but the feeling of the voice is really conveyed to me.
