Am I wrong?

After I ended my phone call with Nathan. I thought back to the decision I made.

If I had listened to his explanation. Maybe I won't be this sad. My tears kept flowing, my crying voice had filled my entire room, echoing irregularly.

Why do regrets always come too late?

Not long after, my phone rang. A name was written on the screen.

Nathan.

A call from him. I kept staring at my phone screen. My hand moved to get my phone, but my heart refused to answer Nathan's call.

May said it out loud. Anxious mixed emotion was heard from his voice.

I tried to mediate the conversation, which was like a fight between Aria and May.

"Hey May!" Aria hit the table and got up from her seat.

"Zea doesn't care! He just appreciates you. As a friend you should understand, Nathan likes who. Not stabbing a friend in the back like this."

Aria shouted in annoyance. All the students in the class had showered the three of us with sharp eyes and curiosity.

"Piercing? Not wrong? I didn't stab ya. Zea said she and Nathan had no relationship. So what's wrong if I approach her..."

May replied and raised her voice.

May said it with a cynical smile. I want to defend myself. But maybe, May's words have a point. It's just me, and Nathan doesn't like me at all.

"May!!" Aria screaming.

"Enough!!" I'm yelling.

My voice stopped Aria's words.

"Zoe?!" Aria looked at me in annoyance. Didn't accept his words being stopped.

"Male, May. Enough." I looked at them both in turn.

All the students in the class had gathered and surrounded the three of us. Watch out for my quarrels, Aria and May.

"You're not ashamed? They're all here. Why do we fight about someone who doesn't exist right now and cares about us." I'm upset.

"I don't know about Nathan. I may have been close to him before. But not now. I have nothing to do with him. I don't even care what happens to him anymore. Don't bother me anymore, especially if it's about Nathan."

I looked at May with annoyance. May who stood before me was silent, no longer returning my words.

Aria who was beside me looked surprised to hear my words just now. I don't care what he thinks now.

"Zee?" Aria looked at me worriedly. One of his hands pulled my arm.

I looked at Aria who was still confused and could not believe my words. I just smiled and nodded my head. Convince her that I'm okay.
