By noon, the age of lunch and taking medicine, Raka fell asleep. When Raka was sleeping, this time was used by Zaid to be able to talk to Erina. There were at least some things Erina should know about Raka's condition. Recalling a few days later, Erina also did not go to the Hospital, so Raka's true condition was what Zaid had to tell Erina.
"Erin, can we talk for a minute?" zaid asked his ex-wife.
It was seen Erina rolling her eyes lazily and following Zaid towards the living room to talk together. Because, it was indeed better for him to be able to chat face to face with Erina. Rather than through a mobile phone that can actually make him misunderstand.
"What's Zai?" he asked her to take a seat in front of Zaid.
"There's something we need to talk about Raka, Rin .. Raka's true condition" Zaid explained there.
Erin seemed to sigh and then nodded her head slowly, "Speak. What happened to Raka?" tanyakanya.
"Look .. you already know that Raka has Retrograde Amnesia, where some of her memories are lost and you know, her lost memory is about the divorce of both of us. Now, he doesn't know that we're divorced. The memory is gone, Rin .. so, let's both get rid of the hate and hurt that our hearts have left. We work together to become parents who can meet Zaid's needs first."
Zaid fully acknowledges that raising children peacefully after a divorce is not easy. There is still heartache and anger. However, they inevitably have to work well together, so that the upbringing for Raka can still run well.
"You said to put aside anger and hurt? Saying too easily, Zaid .. is in fact too difficult to be able to do so. Divorce still gives wounds, including for myself," Erina replied.
Zaid sighed and looked at Erina who was sitting before him. Still, Erina saw that she was also hurt. But everything has already happened.
"However, the fact is that you are suing for divorce, Rin .. I want to survive and defend our household. You chose to divorce. Divorce is not a shortcut to happiness, Rin," Zaid said.
Not intended to be cornered, but indeed the plaintiff is Erina who chose to divorce. Even when Zaid apologized and wanted to keep his household, Erina refused him. The lawsuit continues.
"Yes, I'm the one who bullied you because I'm not happy with you, Zai" she replied.
It feels weird, doesn't it? Including when Erina now said that she was not happy together with Zaid. What Erina said struck Zaid, his chest like a boulder. However, how else that happiness that is actually invisible is so influential in married life. The pretext of no longer being happy seems to be the price of dying.
He insists that even if his household is destroyed. However, their roles as Mama and Papa, as parents for Raka will never end. They should have implemented Co-Parenting.
Yes, Co-Parenting is a shared parenting pattern that a couple of divorced parents do. Because, even though they are divorced and no longer together to build a household heresy, but both must be able to provide the best care for the child, meet all the needs of the child and maintain the closeness of the relationship between the child and both parents.
Especially now when Raka is sick and many of her memories are lost. Zaid feels that he and Erina should implement this Co-Parenting parenting.
"Speaking is easy, Zai .. but doing it is hard" Erina replied.
"If you want, you can, Rin .. I don't know how much you hate me until you constantly corner me. I accept it, Rin .. but when it comes to Raka, I cannot accept it. Raka memory can be forever lost and followed by other memories. We, as parents, must provide physical and moral support for children as a way to overcome the various impacts that occur after divorce," Zaid said now.
"If I don't want to?" asked Erina later.
"Don't be stubborn, Rin .. think of Raka, our son. We can work together" Zaid replied.
When they were talking apparently Raka got out of bed and looked for the whereabouts of Mama and Papa. Even Raka searched all the way to the living room.
"Mrs ... Papa, Raka nyariin loh," he said as soon as he saw Papa and his mother.
"Why Raka? Papa is talking to your Mama" he replied.
Raka seemed to nod her head, "Raka was afraid that Mama would leave again. Mama don't go, yeah" she asked.
But Erina smiled there, "Mama has to work again, Raka? Raka's at home with Papa well," he replied.
Raka was almost crying there. He was happy with his mother who was at home. However, just for a moment why did Mama say she was going back to work?
