The Midnight Debate

"Does it work until it has to be at this hour?"

The sound with a typical baritone type made Erina aghast. Because, before Erina thought everyone had fallen asleep, including Zaid. Apparently her husband was still awake and waiting on the living room sofa. The atmosphere of the house was dark, quiet, and then there was a human voice, of course making Erina aghast.

"Oh my goodness, Zaid .. You know me anyway," Erina replied by holding onto her chest which now felt like it was pounding.

"Does work have to be this late?" ask Zaid again.

Erina let out a long sigh and then looked at Zaid. "It's none of your business, Zai .. right we have both promised not to interfere in each other's affairs. So, don't ask me," Erina replied.

"It wasn't that I interfered, Rin .. but Raka was waiting for you. From the afternoon he was waiting for you," replied Zaid who then stood up from his seat.

Raka had once wondered to her father. "Papa, it's eight o'clock. Why hasn't Mom come home yet, Pa? Raka was afraid that Mama would leave Raka again and not go back to our house."

The little boy again felt anxiety in him. There was a fear that her mother would no longer come home. Even so heading to his room, Raka seemed to still hope that his mother would go home to work.

“Besok Raka wants to take a walk in the park with her Mama and Papa. Can you?” ask Zaid then to Erina.
