"Who was he?" Jeevan ventured to ask when Andika had disappeared behind the wall.
"OB." YEAH."
"Yes, I mean who is he? You knew him before?"
"Why the hell, Mas? He works in my office, of course I know him. Yes, I want to work. Mas Jeevan please go, still got to work too, right?" mauren answered quickly.
"Okay, I'm leaving. But ... horrified my message, the man was not a good man. You careful! If you can fire it, before you're harmed." Jeevan spoke as he got up from his seat.
"You're getting worse, Mas. Wonder me." Mauren turned while shaking. The patience stock is over. If it keeps staring at Jeevan, maybe his long nails actually land there.
"This time I'm serious, Mauren. I saw him___"
"Go now or never come here again!" mauren concluded with higher intonation.
"Okay, I'll go." Jeevan got up from his seat. "Be careful, Mauren, take good care of yourself" he continued.
"Hm." Mauren responded with a slow murmur.
After Jeevan left, Mauren returned to focus on his work. Food that has not been spent, as well as pandan sponge that has not been opened, he deliberately let it go. Mauren is still lazy to touch it, let alone eat it.
Meanwhile, Jeevan leaves Mauren's room feeling unsettled. His thoughts continued to be on Andika, who did not know who it really was.
"Don't let him like Mauren. Only I can marry her, "inwardly Jeevan confidently.
However, that confidence vanished when he arrived downstairs. Inadvertently Jeevan crosses paths with Andika, who again stares sharply and implies hatred.
"Good day, Mr. Jeevan. Should I take you forward?" ask Andika. Although it sounds natural, but Jeevan is getting riled up. Andika's gaze was more deadly than before.
"No, I can do it myself" replied Jeevan. Then, he quickened his pace and left Andika who again commented on the slanted smile.
________________
It's been an even week Andika works in Victory Office. So far there is no problem with him, instead he can establish a good relationship with other colleagues. Although his appearance is geeky, but his friendliness and dexterity make Andika liked by many people, including Mauren.
Mauren is very satisfied with the workings of Andika who is almost never wrong, he knows what to do without waiting for direction. The man also did not mind even though many employees were overtime and made him go home the night.
As is the case today, Andika was still in the office until 08:00 p.m. Without complaining he did his job well, including making tea and coffee for the staff, and to and fro delivering files.
"Take this report to Mauren!" karin's orders.
"Good, Mom." Andika receives the report and rushes to take her to Mauren's room.
"Excuse me, ma'am," Andika said when she got there.
"Yes, please come in!" Mauren.
"This is a report from Ms. Karin."
Mauren grabbed the report and stacked it with other files. Then, he looked back at Andika who was still standing in front of him.
"Okay, ma'am, I'll tell you." Andika nodded obediently.
"Mmm, all of you please go home after helping them clean up. Only Karin and her members, right, are still in the office?" ask Mauren.
"Yes, ma'am, the others have gone home."
"good. That's why you're also going home soon because Siska is coming home soon." Mauren spoke while looking at Siska at a glance, who happened to be sitting next to her.
"Good, Mom." Andika stepped away.
"Mother Mauren didn't come home either?" ask Siska. He was astonished that his superior was not getting ready to go home.
"You go first. I still have a little work to do" replied Mauren.
"I'll help you, ma'am, let's finish quickly and Mauren won't be late." Siska offered herself.
"No need. My work is not much and it is not urgent. You just go home, enough overtime," Mauren refused.
"Good, Mom."
Siska no longer forced. He knew Mauren was in need of calm. Since Jeevan and Elsa's betrayal, she has spent time alone. Although sometimes it is not pleasant, but Siska can not do much. He did not dare to intrude on Mauren's privacy.
Without them noticing, the chatter just now was captured clearly by Andika, who had just arrived at the doorstep. I don't know what he was thinking, which clearly was currently reviewing a wide smile.
Fifteen minutes later, Siska returned home. Karin and the others may also have gone home because they just settled down.
In his solitude, Mauren turned off the computer and tidied up the slightly scattered files. Then, go and lock the room. However, instead of heading to the parking lot, Mauren went upstairs. He went to his parents' favorite room.
"Here is indeed comfortable and quiet, it is suitable to relax unwind," Mauren murmured when he arrived in the room.
He landed his body on the chair and leaned his tired back. Mauren closed for a moment and enjoyed the scent of gardenia flowers typical—female favorite of his mother.
Since Victory he took over, Mauren always put gardenia flowers there, as decorations and also fragrances of the room. During this time, Mauren often stayed there. Either to unwind or also take off longing to his mother's father. Because his parents were also hardworking and Victory was a real proof of their efforts, then this place is more memorable than the main house.
"I've taken good care of this company, Pa. Pray that my efforts are always smooth so that this business will grow, thankfully later can spread its wings abroad. It's amazing, isn't it, Pa?" mauren said in silence at night.
Moments later, Mauren opened her eyes and looked around. He smiled wryly when he remembered the incident at that time, when he caught Jeevan and Elsa who were making out there.
"In addition to betraying me, you also dirty the favorite place of Mama and Papa, Mas. I think that you insist on apologizing and want to come back, heh stupid if I want to. There are still a lot of other guys who are much better than you, Mom." Mauren spoke alone again.
He spent almost two hours there. After looking at the clock and it turned out to be 10:30, Mauren got up and walked out. Then, he entered the elevator and headed for the first floor.
It didn't take long, Mauren finally arrived at the lobby. The atmosphere was silent, there was no receptionist or anything else. Mauren was not a problem and continued to walk calmly.
However, when engrossed in stepping suddenly Mauren flinched instantly. Then, he stopped with perfectly rounded eyes.
"Andika," Mauren's inner self with a rapidly beating heart. He could hardly believe what Andika was doing.
Seriate...
