The hour hand had shown at 11:15 p.m., but Mauren was still in his office. He sat on the terrace looking at Yohan who was kneeling Andika's head.
A few minutes ago, Andika fainted and did not wake up even though Mauren called and shook her body repeatedly. Finally, he asks Yohan for help, who happens to be on a night shift.
"Not awake yet? Shouldn't we just take her to the hospital?" ask Mauren. She was a little worried because Andika's eyes were still tightly closed.
"No need, ma'am, it'll be a hassle. If it took too long to inhale the fragrance, he was indeed like this. It's okay, being taken for a while must be human" replied Yohan.
"Is that so?"
"Yes, Mom. But___"
"But what?" Mauren asked quickly.
"I'm sorry, ma'am. Mmm, you better stay away from Mauren first because you're wearing a parfume. It's nothing, ma'am, let him get up soon."
Hearing Yohan's very serious remarks, Mauren got up and walked away. However, not to leave the place. He was still monitoring from a distance.
As the boss in charge, Mauren is not calm if he leaves Andika when he is unconscious, even though Yohan has accompanied him.
Five minutes later, Andika's hand began to move. The eyes slowly blinked and then opened perfectly. Yohan smiled broadly. He was so happy that his friend was okay.
In the distance, Mauren was also breathing a sigh of relief. Subconsciously her lips extended a smile as she looked at Andika starting to wake up and trying to sit down. Somehow Mauren was happy, even though their relationship was only superior and subordinate.
"Obviously I am happy and relieved, because as little as my money is safe, it does not diminish to do him," Mauren said, trying to give up what he felt.
Far away in front of him, Andika was already sitting perfectly. In fact, he seemed to be talking to Yohan. It was just that his voice was too slow, so Mauren could not hear clearly.
A moment later, Yohan got up and walked towards Mauren. His face was filled with doubt when he arrived in front of Mauren, as if he wanted to talk, but could not begin.
"What's wrong? He's fine, right?" ask Mauren.
"Good, ma'am, but .. not too good either. I ... I still can't bear to let him ride the bike." Yohan answered while looking down.
Mauren took a deep breath. Little did he know what Yohan was going to say. Then, Mauren folded her hands on her chest while looking at Andika who was still putting on a lazy look.
"Help him in the car, I'll drive him home!" mauren's orders were instantly responded with a nod by Yohan.
"Amazingly sensitive message, it is not wrong that I served here for a long time. Hopefully one day he can forget Mr. Jeevan and open his heart to other men, thankfully can be side by side with Mr. Rendra, "inner Yohan. Then, he turned around and walked quickly to Andika's place.
"Mom Mauren will take you, let me help you out!" take Yohan with you and extend your hand.
"really?" Andika stared in disbelief.
"Yes." Yeah." Yohan nodded. "Wrap your mask and don't do much. Pity will trouble Mauren ma'am" he continued.
Without much protest, Andika put on her mask and glasses. Then, get up and walk towards the parking lot. Thanks to Yohan's help, Andika has no trouble getting there.
"I .... am riding here, Mom?" andika asked a little nervously.
At that time Mauren just opened the front door. Andika feels awkward if sitting side by side with Mauren, although actually really expect it.
"You think I'm a driver?" mauren replied with a high tone and eyes also stared intently.
I don't know why Mauren behaved that way. To cover up her pleasure because Andika is fine, or indeed still resentful because of the incident a moment ago.
Regardless of Andika who is still confused, Mauren rushed in and sat in front of the steering wheel, then immediately started the car engine.
Andika nodded and then entered the car. He sat next to Mauren with his head lowered. In fact, when mentioning the boarding address Andika did not lift her face.
Mauren didn't bother about that. He was only focusing on the road ahead, as it happened to be traveling at high speed. The night was very late, Mauren did not want to linger in the streets.
Almost half of the journey there was no discussion between Andika and Mauren. Both are very friendly with silence.
Amongst the silent blanketed atmosphere, Andika took the phone out of her pants pocket. I don't know who he's been calling, which is obviously very serious in a while.
"The roommate I called, Mom. There was a message, asking why I haven't come home" Andika said while saving her phone.
"Hm." Mauren only responded with a slow murmur.
Andika did not speak anymore, only her eyes glanced at Mauren.
"In a moment," he said.
As the seconds ticked, Mauren's car sped between vehicles that were still passing. The city he lived in hardly ever slept. Let alone late at night, early morning was still a lot of activity on the streets.
A few minutes later, Mauren turned her car towards a quieter road. Andika kos place is not on the side of the highway. Naturally, only a simple and cheap boarding place. Not much different from where Jeevan lives now.
"This front is straight, right?" mauren asked as he was about to arrive at the crossroad.
"Yes, Mom."
"Still far?"
"No, Ma. It's almost there" replied Andika.
Silent. No more words came out of their lips. Andika was busy looking down, while Mauren was busy with the steering.
Shortly after passing the crossroad, there was a black car driving behind Mauren. Because the speed is quite high, then Mauren gave way for him to be able to precede. Mauren did not feel suspicious because it was a natural thing.
However, Mauren's calm feeling only lasted a few moments. When he arrived at the bridge, the car that had been speeding up now squeezed and made him docked in the guardrail. Because there is no more room to go, then inevitably Mauren stopped his car.
Mauren's feelings were even more unsettled when he saw four burly people coming out of the car. They looked good and walked closer to the car. Mauren looked back and forth and unfortunately the place was quite quiet.
In addition to a fairly long bridge, which is on the side of the road there are only small shops that have been closed, while residential residents are far behind the store. Mauren hopes there will be one or two vehicles passing by, but unfortunately hope is only hope. The road remains silent.
"Do you know who they are?" Mauren turned his head and looked at Andika, the man was looking straight ahead with a facial expression that seemed to harbor fear.
"No, Ma. But ... It looks like a thug," Andika replied in a soft voice.
Mauren has difficulty swallowing saliva, Andika's opinion turns out to be the same as his opinion.
Shortly after, one of them had arrived beside Mauren's car. He hit the windshield hard.
Mauren trembled and clasped her bag tightly, while Andika lowered her head while smiling in satisfaction.
