Rose: A Warm Family

Rose smiled faintly as she looked at the screen of her phone that had already turned dark. He was relieved that Adam had not left. Almost earlier Rose ordered his men to find out where Adam was. And luckily her husband called right when Rose wanted to call Resan.

"You're not as bad as I thought you were, Dam. You're really responsible for our marriage" Rose said happily.

After returning from warning the Falcon, Rose stood pensively by the window. Her thoughts continued to be on her husband who suddenly disappeared without news. And while Rose was thinking about the fate of her unclear marriage, there was no wind and no rain, suddenly Adam called. The man explained his reason for leaving without giving any news. Even though her marriage to Adam was due to something unintentional, Rose still wanted to be a devoted wife. She had no intention of playing with their marriage even though she and Adam had never known each other before. Rose wants to keep this relationship well, for some reason she so wants her marriage to Adam to continue.

Drrttt, drrttt

Mona's cell phone vibrated. The owner is traveling in the dream world. Not wanting the vibration of the phone to disturb his best friend's sleep, Rose rushed to pick it up and saw the caller's id.

"Grandfather Niel?" muttered Rose while frowning.

Knowing that it was a member of the Mona family, Rose immediately raised the call. He just kept quiet while listening to the hoots of his best friend's grandfather.

"Mona, where are you, son? It's almost early morning and you still haven't returned home. Where are you actually? Don't worry your Grandpa and Grandma, son."

Rose's heart warmed as soon as she heard her grandfather Mona's worries. He became remembered with his grandfather who lived in the village, he had not returned there long enough because schoolwork always made him feel busy. Not to mention her job as a waitress, it made it increasingly difficult for Rose to divide her time. Actually Rose could have sent his men to keep the grandfather in the village, but he was reluctant to do so because he was worried that it would make the grandfather feel worried. Rose is always in the hope not to do neko-neko while in this place. He was only allowed to study, even his grandfather did not know that Rose also worked as a waiters in a restaurant.

"Mona, did you hear Grandpa? Where are you, honey? Your grandmother has been crying ever since. Let's tell him where you are now, let Grandpa come to pick you up."

"He's in my house" Rose replied coldly. "Mona was exhausted after finishing schoolwork with me. So he decided to stay here."

Silent. There was no sound after Rose told Mona where Grandpa Niel was. Soon a voice came back, but this time a woman's voice. Maybe this is Mona's grandmother, Rose thought.

Next to Rose's eyebrows raised up. She is shocked to discover that her grandmother Mona knows her name.

"Yes, it's me, Rose."

Rose smiled faintly when she heard the commotion that was happening inside the phone. It seems Mona told a lot about their friendship because the grandmother was so detailed when mentioning if she was the only friend owned by their grandchild.

"Rose, did Mona throw a tantrum? Sorry if his attitude is a little spoiled, since childhood he has been lived by both parents in a car accident. So we always obey whatever he wants so that his sadness can be slightly reduced. Ever since Mona met you, she's been looking even more excited. Because before getting into University, Mona never had any friends. No one is willing to invite him to play just because he has no parents. The time is spent in silence while wondering a happiness if the father and mother are still alive. Thank you for being friends with our granddaughter, you're so nice, Rose."

Rose looked directly at her best friend who was sleeping. He didn't expect that Mona had this much mass. While continuing to stick the phone in her ear, Rose walked over then sat down on the edge of the bed. One hand outstretched through Mona's head, she pityed.

"Rose, please don't leave Mona. Poor him. You're the only friend he has. Oh yes Rose, if you're having trouble with school fees, don't hesitate to ask us for help. Let us repay the kindness of your heart that does not look at our grandchildren with one eye. Sorry instead of condescending, Mona says you work part-time at a restaurant huh?.

Rose's hand kept caressing Mona's head. Looks like this girl's grandparents are good people. Although never face to face, they without hesitation offered help that clearly Rose herself did not need. Not takabur, but the wealth in Rose has more than enough to just finance school and daily needs. Rose nodded despite knowing that her grandmother Mona would not be able to see. He then put the phone on the table, looking back at his friend who was not at all disturbed.

"Based on the sleepyhead, your grandmother and I talked this long and you didn't feel disturbed at all. Your soul is lost in which realm, hm?"

Mona squirmed as Rose did not stop touching her forehead. But after that he went back to snoring which made Rose chuckle funny. Mona is a year older than him, but Rose feels that Mona is much more deserving of being his sister. Silly indeed, but that was how he felt every time with this geeky girl.

"Mona, I didn't think we had almost the same life. We both lose the affection of our parents, we are lonely. But it is fortunate that God brought us together, so we can complement each other. I hope you're not angry with this cold friend of mine. I love you" whispered Rose.

As if hearing Rose's whisper, Mona seemed to nod her head. He also muttered as if coming in to answer, making Rose chuckle funny. Had anyone seen Rose's smile at the moment, that person would have gone straight for nosebleeds. Yes, nosebleeds. Because Rose looks so beautiful with that smile.

As the night was nearing dawn, Rose finally laid her body beside Mona. He looked straight up at the ceiling, reminiscing about the hot romance he had with Adam last night.

"Lord, I didn't know this was a coincidence or a sign from you. Before I married Adam, it was like I had seen that in my dreams. The taste that Adam gave off felt familiar, the warmth felt so real. Could Adam be the best mate you sent me?.
