Rose: Grandchild of the Conglomerate

Seventeen years ago, Frans who was struggling to live on a boat accidentally found a little girl who was adrift in the middle of the ocean. Her head was severely injured, and the little girl was already in an unconscious condition.

But Frans, his mind was starting to shake. He is not unaware that this girl is the granddaughter of a conglomerate named Lady Liona and Mr. Greg Ma who disappeared due to a fall into the sea. Three days after he found Rose, his house was suddenly visited by a mysterious man. The man asked her not to tell him she had found the conglomerate's family girl. But Frans feels very guilty when he secretly finds out who Rose's family is. With his own eyes Frans saw how the girl's family looked very frustrated while searching for her whereabouts. Frans even saw a handsome man who always sat quietly while looking at the ocean. Feeling unbearable, there began an inner war in Frans' mind between wanting to deliver Rose to his family or staying silent as said by the mysterious person. The mysterious man threatens to kill Avon and Pure if he is caught telling his family Rose that the girl is still alive. Frans was worried. Avon is the only child she has, Frans is unlikely to jeopardize the safety of her own son for the sake of others. But....

"What did you dream of?" ask Avon.

"A-ah, oh this is Daddy being confused," Frans replied stammering.

"About Rose?"

"Dad, Rose is not ours. I'm sure at this time his family must be confused looking for his whereabouts. My mom and dad never taught me to take other people's belongings, including Rose. Pure and I really want a child, but not in this way" Avon said. "Dad, I better get to Rose's family. Tell them that Rose is alive and is currently living with us."

It turned out that the mysterious person had actually kept his words. After Avon and Murni's body is buried, the mysterious person returns to Frans. He wants to finish Rose off. Frans of course did not let the mysterious person hurt this innocent girl. He begged and asked for forgiveness from her. The mysterious person was finally willing to let Rose stay alive on two conditions. That is, Frans must be cut off his tongue and then must leave the country immediately. Without a second thought Frans also agreed to both conditions. His tongue was cut off, after which he was given a few piles of money as a provision to leave this place. And before leaving, the mysterious person still had time to inject drugs into the body of Rose who was still in a coma.

In his pain and grief, Frans finally went from Country N to Country S. He then took Rose to live in the village that became the hometown of his late wife. This village is very remote, even only inhabited by a few family heads. But Frans felt that this place was much safer when compared to living in the city. He was so afraid that the mysterious person was still following them and wanted to take back the life of Rose who was now the only family he had.

Rose opened her eyes after she was in a coma for two years. Either because of the effect of the drug that was injected into his body or because of a wound in his head, Rose lost his memory. He doesn't remember who his family is, not even his own name he knows. Frans, who knew this, felt very sorry. But because he still felt unsettled, Frans finally lied by saying that at that time Rose was still old. Together with the other villagers, he covered up the real incident where Rose had been in a coma for two years. Frans also made up the story that Avon and Murni were Rose's parents. But they died after an accident in which the accident put Rose in a coma for a week. Rose who lost her memory immediately believed Frans' words. He grew up in that village.

Regarding the necklace that was worn by Rose, Frans had hidden it in a secret place. She doesn't want Rose to know her true identity out of fear that she will still be hunted by the man who killed her son and daughter-in-law. Frans is now a speaker, he always speaks sign language and handwriting. Let it be, she was willing to live a life like this to save Rose's life from the hands of those who wanted to hurt her.
