Karina stared fearfully at the man who was staring at her unblinkingly. His thin body was clearly printed behind the shabby clothes he was wearing.

Adam's cry stopped as soon as the mother mentioned the bastard who was now in brackets inside one of the chests containing poison that could make the entire skin blister. "Honey, it's Mama. Sweep it."
"Hello Mama, I'm Rose. His wife is Adam" Rose said, introducing herself.
"Rose? Your name is beautiful" said Karina Lirih. A thin smile appeared on her lips as the woman Adam acknowledged as his wife rubbed her hands slowly. Rose did not even hesitate to hold her hand even though her own hands were very dirty and full of rotting wounds.
Rose and Adam glanced at each other when they saw the smile on their mother's lips.
