Rose: The Real Sinner
Gracia walked over to the father who was sitting daydreaming near the pool. He felt astonished because since yesterday morning his father looked so moody. Worried that his father was not feeling well, Gracia decided to ask.
"Pa?"
One call could not distract Zidane from his daydreams. He is now trapped by a huge fear after his encounter with Rose at the club that night. Imagine that! The big secret that had been hidden so tightly in Zidane's hands was easily exposed by a girl who was secretly watching him. Indeed, Zidane did not expect Rose to have such a terrible member. "Pa, Papa why?" gracia asked as she gently rubbed her father's shoulder.
"Don't bother Papa, Grace. Papa is thinking a lot" Zidane replied coldly, dismissing his daughter's hand.
"That's why I came here, Pa. I know that Papa is thinking about something. If Papa wants to, Papa can really share that matter with me" Gracia said, not offended by what her father had just done.
Zidane breathed. He then turned his head, looking at his beautiful daughter's face. There was a hint of jealousy in Zidane's eyes when he realized that his daughter's eyelashes were much more pliable than his. Zidane thought of going to his personal doctor to get him to get the exact same eyelashes as Gracia.
God fucking. Why am I jealous of my own daughter? Just be right.
"Oh yes Pa, tonight Brother Adam is really going home with his woman?" gracia asked trying to figure out what her father's response was like. Honestly, Gracia still did not feel calm because what her brother would bring home was not Gheana, but Rose. She fears her father and mother may have a heart attack if she finds out that Rose has officially become the daughter-in-law of the Clarence family.
"Your brother has never lost his word, Grace. You don't have to worry, he will definitely go home with Gheana" Zidane replied, taking a deep breath. "Where's your Mama? Has he checked the preparations for tonight?"
"Mama's not awake yet, Pa. Let me check the banquet. I was lazy to wake Mama up," Gracia replied softly.
"You quarreled with him?"
"N-no!"
Zidane smirked faintly. After that he went back to daydreaming about Rose's threat. Zidane was really confused about how to behave when he met the girl later. Just imagining their meeting alone made Zidane feel terrified like he was forced to walk on a pile of sharp needles. His life is really fucked up right now. The biggest secret is now in Rose's hands, the woman is already in full control of Zidane's true identity.
"Pa, um if if Adam's brother hadn't come home with Gheana .. what would Papa have done to that woman later?" ask Gracia carefully.
"Only the woman Papa admits has the right to marry your brother. Gheana is the first woman with the criteria for a dream daughter-in-law that Papa really wants. She is beautiful, intelligent, accomplished, and more importantly she comes from a distinguished family. Your brother is the sole heir of the CL Group, so Papa won't let him marry a woman of ordinary background, especially if his origins are to the point of being unclear. Even if Papa would never accept him to be a son-in-law in the Clarence family," Zidane replied firmly on his decision.
Oh my God, how is this? What would happen if Papa knew that the woman who would be the daughter-in-law in this house was an orphan from the countryside? Is it possible that Papa and Brother Adam will get into a big fight because of Rose? Not to mention Mama. Mama definitely won't let Rose into this house so easily. What am I supposed to do?
Gracia confused herself thinking about the worst possible thing that would happen tonight. If it was for her personally, Grace would have been on her brother's side by accepting Rose as his sister-in-law. And this choice was sincere from the bottom of his heart. Besides Gracia owes Rose her life, it's also because she wants to get the attention of her older sister. Gracia realized that the one who really took care of her was only her half-sister. After that Gracia went to her room. He took a deep breath when he again had to meet face to face with his mother who wanted to go downstairs.
"Good day, dear," Vanya said a little awkwardly when dealing with her daughter.
"I go to the room first, Ma. Do not forget to check the banquet to welcome the return of Brother Adam with brother-in-law!" sahut Gracia indifferently then waltzed away from in front of the mother.
Vanya could only sigh in looking at Gracia's cold demeanor. Honestly, he actually felt very sad. Vanya was sorry for what she did to her daughter back then. Had he not been trapped by the luxury that Zidane gave him, Vanya would not have been willing to endure this endless loneliness. She is a normal woman who wants a happy home life with her child and husband. But what to say, everything is wet. Vanya was already completely engulfed by the surge of sin in the black sea. She is the embodiment of a woman, a wife and also a true sinful mother. It's really a miracle, isn't it? But this is his life now.
