Chapters 18. The Delicious Flavors That Became Everyone's Favorite

Reda almost lost her focus and forgot her task. He immediately went in to fold the clothes in the basket and went to help Ryuunosuke in the kitchen.

Aragaki looked towards the direction where the girl saw herself. He looked at her with a cynical and cold gaze filled with hatred.

“Until any time I will never receive his presence in this place.”

In the kitchen, Reda came with a basket of clothes with her.

“Ryuunosuke, where can I fold this outfit?”

“Ah, Reda-sama! Reda-sama can fold it in the next room. Then just put it there, Ryuunosuke who will take care of it.”

I smiled and went to the room next to the kitchen. Finished folding the two clothes dried by her, Reda returned to the kitchen again.

“Ryuunosuke, I'm sorry. Nushi-sama's clothes are still not lifted because Nushi-sama forbade me to touch her clothes. So...”

Ryuunosuke went to pick up the clothes behind leaving Reda in the kitchen alone.

Reda noticed all the vegetables and soups that were being made by Ryuunosuke. Perhaps out of curiosity whether the soup was ripe or not, Reda tasted it a little.

Reda concocted the spice himself by tasting all the spices that were around the table near the furnace. After putting all the spices in, Reda tasted them back.

“Hmm~fitted. Hopefully everyone likes the taste of the soup made by Ryuunosuke.” he said in his heart

Reda saw some vegetables like radishes and carrots there. Thinking of making a little side dish as Ryuunosuke's dinner companion later, he cut off half of the vegetable and grated the rest.

The girl put the cut vegetables into the flour Ryuunosuke had prepared before, while the shredded vegetables were cooked as stir-fry.

By including some spices that he thought could make his cooking taste delicious, Reda looks so careful in cooking it.

“I cannot touch the vegetables so that the smell of my hands does not spoil the taste. It's a pity that Ryuunosuke smelled the scent of my dirty hands.”

Using a large wooden spoon nearby and chopsticks, Reda makes the vegetables look delicious.

The little fox looked delighted with sparkling eyes while wagging its tail. As soon as he ate the two dishes Reda made, he looked very happy.

“It's delicious! Reda-sama this fry is delicious. This grated vegetable stir-fry is also tasty~”

“Really, thank God~” Reda smiled in pleasure

“But, Reda-sama should also taste this. It's your homemade cooking.”

“I can't eat anything from here, Ryuunosuke. This I made specially for you as my thanks. Ah, I put the cooking on another plate. We'll take you to Aragaki-sama and the others. After that, I will go to the forest for a while to eat.”

Sakura buds that look so fast grow more and more cherry trees that look blooming beautifully.

Ryuunosuke asks Reda for permission to call Aragaki.

After the master and the others were already inside the dining room, Ryuunosuke who Reda helped started to bring his food.

Reda goes straight to the forest to have dinner before finishing her work again and Ryuunosuke says nothing to everyone in the dining room.

He came out as soon as he finished giving his food.

Aragaki and the others look at the food covered by Ryuunosuke. Nagi and Kuroto made their comments.

“Is this a surprise? The little fox seemed to be making a menu..hoo, look at this! He made a new menu apparently.”

“He should have covered it. I wonder if it tastes good?”

Aragaki smelled the food first.

“No smell of that dirty girl. It seems that this was made by Ryuunosuke.” he said

Hearing that, everyone became relieved because they could taste the food first.

“Nak! It's delicious! The fox is a genius!” praise Nagi with a happy face

“It is suitable once eaten as a snack also with sake or warm tea.”

“Hakuren, the stir-fry is good too! You should taste this!”

Aragaki listened to Hakuren's advice and tasted the cuisine.

No other sentence was said by the magi except the word ‘enak’ from his mouth.

At the same time, Ryuunosuke ate Reda's cooking voraciously. He finished the cooking made by the girl first until it was not left alone. As soon as he drank the miso soup that was in the bowl, he was actually made to almost cry.

Aragaki drank it and smiled.

“I also agree. My little fox seems to be happy right now. It's tasty. I love this soup. I think tomorrow I'll ask him to make this soup back.”

“Agree! It's better that way. Hammph.”

Nagi instantly devoured the food on her plate. Unlike usual, Aragaki also started eating it quickly. As if getting her appetite back, she spent it without taking long.

In the dark forest, the girl went in search of firewood and dried branches and leaves. He was also looking for a stone that could possibly be used as a lighter. For some time, Reda tried several stones that might be able to produce fire.

After spending a considerable amount of time, he managed to find a stone as a lighter and twig to make a fire. The beautiful girl returned to the hut.

Inside his old hut, Reda picked up the wild vegetables he had stored and cut them all with a rusty knife that was inside the hut. He blamed the fire on using two stones he found in the forest to boil the wild vegetables.

“Because there is no seasoning of any kind except using nobiru (wildew in the Japanese forest), I hope it tastes good and not bitter.”

It boiled for quite a while. Once it was ripe, Reda started eating it. The taste is bland, but it is enough because there is a natural sweetness of the vegetable. The wild onion he cooked as his only flavoring also made it not too bad.

“Thank God, I can eat it. At least, I can have dinner today.” he said with a smile

Done greedily eating all of his cooking. The bland taste with a little sweetness was not a problem for him. Since there was no rice, he filled his stomach by directly finishing off all the wild vegetables he cooked.

“Tomorrow, hopefully can find others this much as well.”he thought

In the dining room, Aragaki and his four servants were very satisfied with dinner today.

Ginko sees her master smiling for the first time after eating. He looked happy and asked the master.

Ryuunosuke came shortly after he ate to clear the dishes.

Nagi stood up and lifted Ryuunosuke up high.

“Ahahaha, you are a genius! Aragaki-sama and we all love your misomu soup tonight! stir-fries and vegetables are delicious too! Tomorrow, don't forget to do this again!”

Ryuunosuke was surprised to hear that. He glanced at their empty plates. Not a single item remained. It's a little unfortunate because he's a little bit hoping there's leftover food to re-process as Reda's dinner.

However, his tail swayed in delight to hear the praise. Of course he knows who made it.

Aragaki approaches Nagi and Ryuunosuke. Nagi immediately lowered the little fox back. While kneeling, Aragaki praised Ryuunosuke.

“At first I thought that maybe the dirty girl made it. But, I did not smell her at all and became convinced that it was Ryuunosuke's. Tomorrow morning, can I eat such dishes again?”

Ryuunosuke simply nodded with a feeling of pleasure.

“No hand scent Reda-sam said, this might be a good opportunity! Mother, Ryuunosuke already got the chance to Reda-sama steal Aragaki-sama's heart! This is not to be missed!” thought the little fox

Ryuunosuke heard praise again and again regarding the cuisine tasted by all and he was grateful to have added the menu to their meal.

“Reda-sama, Ryuunosuke will make everyone accept you! Ryuunosuke will fight as well!”
