Chapter 58. The Closer, the More Want to See It

Aragaki caught Reda's body while falling, making both of their faces look close. Aragaki's eyes widened as she looked at the girl's eyes up close.

“Hin...indah”.

Reda began to panic. Although for a moment she was so fascinated by the good looks of the man she loved so much, but realizing Aragaki's hatred for her made Reda push herself once again.

He instantly broke away from Aragaki and prostrated an apology to her.

“Ma–forgive Me! Forgive me, Nushi-sama! I was not intentionally! I really did not intentionally! Please don't be angry, this won't happen again!”

Aragaki saw her body trembling. The girl was afraid of him. He knew that the girl was enduring the pain in her back to move and prostrate to him in order to get sorry.

Perhaps, this was the first time Aragaki had touched a human of her own accord.

He held onto both of Reda's shoulders and asked her to stop prostrating like that.

“Do not do things that can make your wounds worse. Build.”

Reda was so surprised. The warm soft hand touched and held both shoulders. Not only reddened, Reda's eyes began to glaze over as it held back tears.

“Kyaa!” a cute voice came from behind Reda

“Eh?” Reda looked back

Aragaki saw what was in front of her. It was the little fox holding a tray with food on it.

The little fox's face turned red and his ears swayed. He immediately walked inside, put down the tray and left the two.

From outside, the little fox shouted while running.

“Aragaki-sama flirtatious! Kyaa! Ryuunosuke does not want to disturb”

“Ryuunosuke?!” Reddened and panicked. He sees Aragaki's face confused by the behavior of his little fox that appears and disappears like a storm.

“Why with the kid?”

Inside the room, Aragaki sees a tray of soup and tamagoyaki and rice for her.

“That's your breakfast. Eat first.”

“A..it...” Reduced so completely wrong behavior now. In that room, there was never in her dream that there would come a time when she would be alone with the person she loved most in silence.

“How is this? Reda dreaming? Could this all be just an illusion? Nushi-sama..Nushi-sama is beside me? God, if this is a dream..please don't wake me!”

His heart is getting tighter. Reda kept her head down and looked at Aragaki face shyly.

Aragaki had no idea what the girl was thinking. Because he thought the girl was afraid of him, Aragaki stood up. Reda thought the ruler was going to leave her and all the good dreams were over.

Reality's different. Aragaki stood up and sat on the other side beside the girl.

The ruler simply changes position. He sat down near the food tray and took a bowl of soup to give to Reda.

“The little fox has brought this and it's still warm. You better drink this and continue with the breakfast.”

The soft voice was hypnotizing. Reda took the bowl of soup and drank it.

“Nakya~”

Reda smiled drinking the soup. Seeing that smile, Aragaki felt something.

As if someone touched his heart, that smile made Aragaki not take her eyes off the girl before him right now.

That smile captivated Aragaki.

“Why can't I stop seeing that smile? Since yesterday afternoon, I kept thinking about it?”

Reda only realized that next to him was the ruler. He almost spilled his soup in panic.

“I'm sorry! Nushi-sama must be uncomfortable with this scent of my body.”

“I just came to see how you are. If I don't do it, they'll all barge back into my room like yesterday afternoon.”

“Bobbed in?”

“Nothing. For today, you don't have to do any work. Let Nagi and her friends do that. Ryuunosuke will accompany you until you recover.”

“If you force yourself again, the little fox will cry and I don't know how to apologize to Ryoko.”

“I understand. Thank you very much for the kindness of Nushi-sama.” Reda smiled wailing at the ruler

Again, there was a warm feeling in Aragaki's heart upon seeing her smile.

“Did I think too much about the words of the little fox and they were all yesterday?”

Behind the door, the little fox along with the three Aragaki servants tried to peek.

“You sure we'll be fine, Nagi?” kuroto asked in a whisper

“Absolutely you're not curious about what's going on inside? Aragaki-sama inside alone with Reda-sama that is the rarest thing here!” answer Nagi

“Before...now you call him Reda-sama?”

Nagi looks embarrassed and chooses to ignore Kuroto's question. Ryuunosuke smiled with a tail that swayed quickly.

“Aragaki-together Reda-sama, once again~Ryuunosuke is happy to see it. It's a miracle from the sky. Ryuunosuke happy, Ryuunosuke happy.”

There is nothing going on in there, but seeing Aragaki waiting for Reda to finish with the food alone is enough beach recorded in the history of Higashi no Mori.

While eating, Reda continues to feel embarrassed because of being noticed by Aragaki.

“God, this is embarrassing. The rest can't stop being nervous. How's this?”

In the end, Reda simply continued to eat without trying to glance towards the man she admired.

Another thing that was very surprising was Aragaki himself who cleaned the bowl and put it aside.

But, this opportunity may never be obtained by him so Reda tries to be as calm as possible even though it is difficult to control her embarrassment.

Aragaki came out after Reda finished eating. He knew that his very active servants were watching from the inner door so that Aragaki would deliberately walk out of the door.

When the door was opened by Aragaki, it was seen that the four servants fell together.

“I'm so glad you guys got a new hobby besides barging into your master's room. It seems eavesdropping and peeping will be a good hobby.”

“Aragaki. It's not what you think, believe me.” Kuroto tried to dodge even though her body was still not awake. Aragaki just kept quiet and stared coldly at all of them.

Reda becomes increasingly embarrassed to know that everyone is looking over the door.

Reddish's red face had actually reached the top. Seeing Reda's face flushed red, Ryuunosuke immediately woke up and approached Reda.

“Reda-sama is okay?! Reda-sama dizzy? What is fever?” he's panicking

Hearing the little fox speak so, Aragaki immediately looked quickly at him. It was a sense of worry, Aragaki felt a feeling of worry for the girl.

“Why am I worried about it?”

Unwilling to show his expression any more than this, Aragaki opted out. The three servants who were still on the floor noticed the master walking towards his room.

“You guys see that?” ask Ginko quietly

“See, I see. Aragaki-sama seems to be starting to pay a little attention to Reda-sama. It's a good thing.” Nagi said with a smile

They return to see Reda's condition and find the girl hugging Ryuunosuke.

“Reda-sama?”

Reda's face looked happy with tears dripping down.

“Ryuunosuke, is this a dream? I can.talk to Nushi-sama. Nushi-sama sits next to me and looks very close. Is this a dream?”

Hearing that, Ryuunosuke smiled happily and hugged his beloved girl.

“It's real, Reda-sama. Aragaki-sama sits down and looks at you. Thankfully, Reda-sama. Ryuunosuke happy, Ryuunosuke happy.”

The little fox took off his embrace and wiped away the girl's tears, “This is a good thing. It's a good thing, Reda-sama. Finally our efforts are not in vain.”

“Thank you for supporting me. It feels so good. This heart is so happy.”

Hearing that, the three Aragaki servants smiled happily.

Aragaki who was walking towards his room stopped before arriving. She's speechless.

“Why does my heart feel weird? Since when?”

“Hasn't since Shuen said that weird thing? Or since all my servants defended him all out?”

“Or maybe..since I saw his smile yesterday?”

“Why do I feel this feeling? I hate him but on the other side now.I feel I want to see what he really is.”.

“My little fox and waitress made me want to know. It's like me.want to know more about the girl.”

In just less than 2 weeks, Reda managed to make the Aragaki residence look different.

The memory of the little fox's sentence about the girl's pure love had tickled her heart to look at the girl.

“When I saw her up close, I never knew that her face was always flushed with such embarrassment. The more I watched her back then, the more I wanted to see the other expressions.”

“I don't want to admit this. But, I want to see it closer.”

Now, the smile that was once considered fake finally became a warm feeling in the chest of the ruler.
