Chapter 43. Start to Pay a Little Attention
In the morning, Reda was already with Ryuunosuke who picked her up early in the morning.
“Reda-sama, overnight sleep soundly no?”
“That's right, Ryuunosuke. The best sleep I've had. When I woke up, I thought I was still dreaming. Last night it was great to~”
“Ehehe~Ryuunosuke is also happy, Reda-sama.”

Reda instantly flushed. His little fox was happy to make his heart pound early in the morning.
Upon arriving at Engawa, they meet with Hakuren and Kuroto.
“Good morning, Hakuren-sama, Kuroto-sama.”
“Good morning, Reda-sama. Good morning, Ryuunosuke.”
“Yo, you two. It's early today huh?” kuroto asked casually
“We will prepare the cooking for Aragaki-sama and try to wake her up!” replied the little fox enthusiastically
“True too. Ryuunosuke no longer woke Aragaki-sama since he always woke up early
yes.” says Hakuren
The two tengu saw the clothes Reda was wearing. It was the clothes given by them as well. With a smile, Hakuren approached Reda and spoke in a soft tone.
“What is his clothes comfortable, Reda-sama?”
“Pawn. This dress is very comfortable and makes me easy to move. Thank you very much, Hakuren-sama, Kuroto-sama.”
“So. Thank goodness.”
After a little talk, the two tengu flew over. Kuroto even screamed.
“We will come at breakfast later!”
Reda and her little fox just laughed at hearing it then returned to the kitchen. In the kitchen, Reda appears to boil tea leaves.
“That's for whom?”
“For Nushi-sama and Ryuunosuke. I do it for everyone too. It can warm your body.”
The little fox looked so happy to be noticed. He looks impatient waiting for his tea even though he has made it often.
“Happy. Ryuunosuke usually makes tea. Finally Ryuunosuke can taste the tea made by others.”
He smiled and began to serve his tea.
“Nakya~”
“Really?”
“Iya tasty. After that, he started preparing tea for delivery when they were about to wake Aragaki up this morning.
“Ryuunosuke doesn't want me to take him?”
“It's okay. Ryuunosuke does not want the artificial tea Reda-sama until it is discarded. Anyway Aragaki-sama should drink tea made by Reda-sama.”
Reda could only smile hearing it. As soon as he arrived at the door of Aragaki's room, Reda and Ryuunosuke sat down.
Ryuunosuke opened the door slowly.
“Aragaki-sama..”
Aragaki who had woken up earlier had just finished wearing her clothes.
“Ryuunosuke, good morning.”
“Morning, Aragaki-sama. Ryuunosuke and Reda-sama came to bring you this.”
Aragaki approached the little fox. When it opened, he saw the village girl he thought was dirty still not raising her head.
“…”
The ruler looked at the tray that the little fox was carrying. “What is it, Ryuunosuke?”
“It's warm green tea. Reda-sama said this is good to keep you refreshed. It tastes good, Aragaki-sama. Drink first, yes!” the little fox looked so happy this morning
Actually Aragaki was eager to take the glass and flush it to the head of the village girl who he thought was dirty. But, considering how happy her beloved little fox was last night made her just look at the tea with a cold expression.
“Put it inside and go.” he said
“Baik~” Ryuunosuke comes in and puts his tea on Aragaki's desk then leaves. After that, Reda just raised her head.
Ryuunosuke walked with the girl with great pleasure and a smile. It was seen by Aragaki without the knowledge of the two of them.
“That dirty girl again..”
Reda muttered softly as she walked towards the kitchen. “I hope Nushi-sama does not throw away his tea and likes it yes, Ryuunosuke.”
“Definitely going to drink, Reda-sama! Aragaki-sama will love your homemade tea. It feels good, everyone will love it too.”
Those words made Reda very happy even though she was not so hopeful.
“During this time, Nushi-sama always threw away everything I made for her. Anything that has the scent of my body or my hands will surely be thrown away.”
“I really hope he wants to taste it even if only a little.”
That was his little hope. No one knew that in his room, Aragaki was drinking
that tea.
“Enak..”
Inside his room, Aragaki recalled what the girl he thought was dirty was doing.
“When he called me yesterday afternoon, he kept his distance very far with me. I hate her human scent and she realizes it.”
“When I left, he took me away standing very far away. Last night, when I walked towards the two of them, without needing to be told he was away by himself.”
“And this morning, she realized that I hated seeing her so she didn't show her face to me. He was already aware of his position and did not force himself to involve himself directly with me.”
Whether it was a compliment or just an ordinary thought, it was clear the tea had been drunk.
When breakfast time came, Reda who had made many delicious dishes told Ryuunosuke before taking him.
“Ryuunosuke, after this I will have breakfast. But, promise from now on Ryuunosuke should eat with Nushi-sama yes.”
“Why?”
“Because it will make Nushi-sama happy. Our goal is to make her smile, remember? Did Nushi-sama smile last night?”
“Umm.” said the little fox with a nod of his head
“Then make Nushi-sama's feelings this morning happier. You understand right, sweet boy?”
Dielus and praised by Reda made the little fox look happy until it wiggled its tail back. He complies.
After delivering the last plate to the dining room, Ryuunosuke gave his tray to Reda. Reda smiled at her little fox and whispered.
“Spirit, Ryuunosuke!”
“Spirit, Reda-sama!”
Reda stood up and went to the kitchen before she returned to her hut in the forest. Seeing that, there was a question in Aragaki's mind.
“Ryuunosuke, why give it to that dirty girl?”
Ryuunosuke did not like to hear the call to Reda like that, but he still answered her.
“Reda-sama said that Ryuunosuke should eat with Aragaki-sama starting today.”
The four Aragaki servants were shocked.
“Reda-sama who asked for it?” ask Ginko
“True. He said so that Aragaki-sama can smile and be happy in the morning. Oh, that warm tea Reda-sama made it. He said it was good for body health. Ryuunosuke also drank it.”
Aragaki was surprised to hear that. He did not expect that the little fox who had refused to eat together because of his evil attitude towards the village girl, was willing to comply with his request.
Although he was quite surprised, but for now it was not important. As it gathered with all his remaining little family, he could eat with his five loyal servants together.
When mealtime is over, Aragaki decides to see for himself the state of the kitchen. The four servants were a little curious so they also became watching over the ruler.
In the kitchen, the little fox saw Reda making something.
“Reda-sama!” the little fox called the girl
“Ah! Ryuunosuke, what a coincidence. I just peeled and cut the fruit. Let's take.”
The little fox immediately took it. He ate the fruit and looked happy.
“How? Is Nushi-sama happy to eat with Ryuunosuke?”
“Umm!” bobbing
“Thank God. Later we give this fruit to Nushi-sama huh. I hope he likes it.”
Unbeknownst to anyone, Aragaki notices both of them. And by settling down and spreading to all sides around the kitchen, the four loyal servants watched over the master.
Aragaki only saw what the girl he thought was dirty doing with her beloved little fox.
They just cut the vegetables, washed them in the well, boiled them and all that was done with a smile. Sometimes, she saw the village girl hugging and petting her little fox until her tail and ears swayed.
Seeing that, Aragaki did not realize that she had shown her smile. A beautiful and charming smile that left the four servants confused.
