Chapter 45. Broken Hearts and Feelings Betrayed by the Beloved
Reda and her little fox came out with dirty clothes in a basket of clothes. From a distance, the four loyal servants of Aragaki looked behind them second.
“Aragaki-sama is not watching them anymore. What happened?” ask Nagi
Ginko pays more attention to detail and does not find the shadow of the master.
“I don't know. Maybe Nushi-sama doesn't see any weirdness in both.”

Hakuren felt something unusual. I don't know what it was, but he got a little curious and chose to separate.
“I have Reda-sama and Ryuunosuke. I'll see Aragaki-sama is inside.”
Hakuren flew away from his other friend. He looked serious and difficult to explain, only that his heart was a little unsettled to the point of deciding to look at it for himself.
At the well, Reda and the little fox were getting ready to wash clothes.
“Ryuunosuke, is there a river in the forest?”
“River? There are. Inside the forest there is a waterfall as well, Reda-sama. The waterfall is very cold. In the summer, Ryuunosuke with Aragaki-sama and others take a riverfront dip near the waterfall.”

The little fox looked delighted while jumping up and down. It seems that he is quite happy even though in fact it is not necessarily that it can happen in the near future.
Reda just looked at it while laughing and washing dirty clothes. From a distance, Aragaki's three loyal servants looked on without commenting.
When Reda saw Aragaki's basket that had to be rinsed, she thought about doing something.

“Reda-sama?” the little fox saw the village girl leave him. The girl went to the kitchen and took a few spoons of salt to a small bowl and returned.
“Ryuunosuke, we make Nushi-sama clothes and others cleaner with this yes.”

The girl smiled and showed the way to the little fox. “The late father and my mother used to do it to get rid of sweat and fishy scents. This can definitely help.”

“Thank God. Come on, let's go while we wait for the clothesline to dry. We flush the garden and we pick up some flowers huh. I'll teach Ryuunosuke to make ikebana.”
The little fox held Reda's hand while wagging its tail.

Meanwhile, Hakuren stops and peeks behind one of the cherry trees across from Aragaki's room.
The door of Aragaki's room was wide open and Hakuren saw the master looking at something.
“Why is he just standing there? What did he see?”
Since separating from his friends and choosing to see his master, Hakuren noticed Aragaki for almost over twenty minutes.
“Aragaki-sama does not react and just sculpts like that. I feel a bad feeling belongs to me exactly. Is there something?”
Anxiety was on his face, until he was finally shocked.

Aragaki throws the two ikebana decorations out of her room. Everything is destroyed and suddenly this makes Hakuren approach him.
“Aragaki-sama! What are you doing?!” Hakuren looks panicked
But apparently, Hakuren's panic became worse when he saw the cold expression and frightening aura of the master.
“Weight! What aura is this? What happened?”
Hakuren looked down. It was a bowl with rocks and flowers strewn about. He did not understand what was happening there, but he knew that his master was not in good shape at the moment.
“Is Aragaki-sama angry? But what's the reason? Why did it get so angry?”
Hakuren doesn't know why. As his eyes and the master's eyes met, Aragaki approached him and looked at him.
“Tell me, do you know what it's like to be lied to by the person you care about most, Hakuren?”

“Do you know the pain caused by the lie will really hurt? It's not the first time I've been betrayed and you know that too, right?”
In a very unexpected moment, Reda and the little fox came past engawa which led to Aragaki's room. They saw Aragaki standing outside with the Hakuren in front of him.
“Reda-sama, that's Aragaki-sama! There's Hakuren-sama too! Let's give him a greeting!”
Reda smiled. However, just running a little, the little fox stopped and trembled. He's feeling scared.
“Aragaki...-sama.” the little fox called his master's name quietly while sweating.
“Ryuunosuke?”
Confusion subsides. He could not sense the aura of a demon directly because the level of human sensitivity was different from that of a demon. As her eyes looked forward, Reda's gaze met Aragaki's eyes.
Aragaki's beautiful eyes were so enchanted. The girl's red face was visible and she was so hopeful that she could hear the gentle voice of the ruler she loved.
But luck does not always come.
Aragaki let out her wind and threw Reda like she first did when Reda came to Higashi no Mori.

Ryuunosuke and Hakuren shouted, but none of them approached or helped him out of fear of Aragaki's angry aura.
Nagi, Ginko and Kuroto who were originally hiding for the sake of being able to watch over the girl finally came out as soon as they saw Reda thrown.
“Nushi...-sama..” Reda attempted to wake up in wet clothes.
The girl saw that there were fragments of the bowl with flowers that were no stranger to her.
“It..maybe Nushi-sama..” his face turned frantic.
Aragaki's gaze saw it straight. Not the eyes full of light that Reda saw, but the eyes full of hatred. That look of hatred was also shown by Nagi and Ginko who were now in front of Aragaki.
“...!!!” Both can't move. The aura of hatred was so strong that it involuntarily enlarged its tail with extremely long nails and a red mark on its forehead appeared.
This is similar to the first time Reda met him.
“Dirty girls who don't know their limits. Though I praise enough because you have the awareness not to cross the line that you should not cross. How dare you be disrespectful.”

Aragaki's cry shrieked her ears. Ryuunosuke became even more afraid until his legs were no longer strong to stand. She cried.

“You guys who once I believed, turned out to be able to betray me like this! Since when am I supposed to receive the filthy blood lineage from that damned village?! Enough with this lie!”
That afternoon, Aragaki was like an impossible storm to escape.
“Do not you think I did not know that the ikebana decoration was handmade by the dirty girl. Nagi, Ginko..it seems that the naive mind of my beloved little fox has affected you too deeply.”.

Aragaki approached her little fox, stood in front of her and looked at her lowly.
“I love you so much, my little fox. But I didn't expect that you would lie to me like this. The gift is not from you, right?”

“Ryuunosuke, I'm so disappointed in you. I'm disappointed in you guys too, Nagi, Ginko. And..”
Aragaki looked at Reda who still could not stand up, “I hate anyone who helps her. Whoever it is, it doesn't matter how. The dirty girl will still die in less than 3 months and I will never receive her in this place.”
The great ruler walked past Reda and with one big flick of his tail, he pushed Reda down from engawa into the garden.
“Akh!”
“Reda-sama!!” the little fox immediately stood up and helped Reda while crying hugging her
The other servant could do nothing because he was very afraid of the anger of the master.
Aragaki passed Kuroto who lowered her head without lifting her up. The black tengu was too shocked with the aura of the employer's anger.
That afternoon, Reda's hope of getting close to the man she loved was like falling into pieces.

By the time Aragaki was far away from all of them, he suppressed all of his hateful aura and returned to his original state. Holding his chest, he scrunched his forehead.
“Why are you lying to me like this? Why do you not understand this pain? That filthy man has taken everything from me, but why are you so easy to accept?”
Aragaki felt her heart breaking for the umpteenth time. It's like, she has to accept the fact that her loyal servant has betrayed and defended the person she hates the most at the moment.
