Part 27 | I'm fine if you are fine

Lee POVs.

I had been sitting in the waiting chair with Rifa who was sitting next to me. Over time, the silence bored me and I finally decided to get up and walk to the front of the ICU room and stop right in front of the glass door.

Instantly I was stunned to see that Devano had regained consciousness from his coma and now the man was looking at Aisyah with a big smile on his lips that were still pale. I think it's a miracle, how could Devano who has just been declared in a coma and critical can now immediately wake up and smile like now just because Aisyah is present at his side.

I saw Aisyah fetching water for Devano and helping her drink the water. From here I felt my chest start to crumble to see how sincerely Aisyah treated Devano who had even made her heart and life destroyed not left.

"What is your heart made of, Aisha?" muttered as I continued to observe Aisyah who was now feeding Devano patiently.

My hand reflexively held onto my chest which was starting to not be okay, a sense of tightness appeared so suddenly, without wanting to understand my current state.

"Why am I so hard to breathe like this when I see their togetherness?" it was my murmur that finally chose to give up and leave from the front of that ICU room.

I ran towards the balcony of the hospital and stood there to inhale as much breath as possible so that the tightness in this chest disappeared. But I was restless and thought about how if Devano really recovered, would Aisyah come back to him?

"Toooo!!" my screams while squeezing my hair into a mess.

Unrest arose in my heart without a cue, the feeling scaring me.

"I don't want to lose Aisyah, even though she's not mine, but I don't want to see her back with the man who destroyed her. No!" I shouted while slamming my fist into the Balcony Barrier involuntarily.

"Lee, what are you.lho, your hands why is that!" Unexpectedly Aisyah was already behind me and spontaneously grabbed my hand because she saw my hand hurt.

"Why until the gini-rich wound, anyway?" aisyah asked worriedly, I only responded with a meaningful look.

"I'm calling a nurse to cure your wounds?" said Aisyah who was about to go call the sisters.

"Don't!" reject me which makes Aisyah turn around and approach me again.

"But your hands need to be on the medicine, Lee," as he worriedly looked.

"I.I want you to take care of this wound," asked me, who honestly embarrassed me because the effect was too bright to seek his attention.

"But.I have to go back to the ICU right now, Devano still needs me.Sorry I am, Lee," Aisyah said with a guilty look.

"O..oh, yes, no papa, I can cure this small wound myself really, you just go back." said me who felt a little disappointed.

"I'm sorry again, Lee. And don't forget the wound was treated, I left first" Aisyah said before leaving and leaving a sense of disappointment in my heart.

"You have to understand, Lee. If Devano needs Ayesha more than you right now," I mumbled to calm myself.

Then I rested my hands on the Balcony barrier while looking at the sky that seemed dark starless tonight exactly the same as my current mood.

"O Allah, can I have someone like Aisha?" I whispered only in my heart.

"I want to be someone who is always by her side in all circumstances, I want to be the one who can wipe her tears when she cries, I want to be the one who can always make him smile at all times, and I really want to be the one who can make him happy until he forgets all his wounds" I said, glancing up at the sky.

Aisha POV.

After Devano fell asleep, I slowly got up from the chair and with my heart I lifted the blanket to the chest of Devano.

"Good night and get well soon, Dev.." I whispered as I looked at his beautiful, peaceful face while asleep.

Then I came out of the ICU room and walked through corridor after corridor to look for Lee. Arriving at the hospital balcony, I found Lee asleep on the cold floor just with his jacket on.

As soon as I walked up to him and shook his shoulder to wake up, I was worried that he would get sick if he slept on the floor like this.

"Lee, wake up..don't sleep in any place rich in gini..not good for your health!" my words finally managed to make Lee wake up and sit down.

"Is this morning?" he rubbed his narrow eyes with both hands, just like a child when he woke up.

"It's still night, rather midnight, Lee. I woke you up because I was worried that you would get a fever if you slept on the floor rich gini," explained me who suddenly scored a boxy smile on Lee's thin lips.

"I'm sorry, Lee" I said.

Lee's voice turned confused.

"Are you even sorry? Do you have any fault with me?" asked Lee astonished.

"I got a lot wrong with you, Lee. Therefore I'm sorry, sorry I always bother you and also.sorry I can't return your feelings," answered me who inexplicably made Lee chuckle.

"Hey, I've said many times to you, no need to apologize, I did this all sincerely, Aisyah.I never expected anything from you in return, I never expected anything from you, I just want to be the one who is always beside you in all circumstances" said Lee, who made me smile and cry because he was moved.

"Thank you for being present in my life, Lee, without you, maybe I will always be confused in doing many things," said I who made Lee smile softly and offered his handkerchief to me.

I took his handkerchief and wiped my tears with the cloth.

"Thank you for allowing me to be someone you know well, Aisyah, don't ever change, even if you find someone who can take care of you and make you happy,"

"I promise never to change, Lee," my promise made Lee smile sweetly at me.

Then the handsome South Korean man reached out his hand to help me stand up.

"Let's go home with me, princess," asked Lee who started treating me like a royal princess.

Then I stood up without receiving a helping hand from Lee, but I appreciated it with a sweet smile engraved on my lips.

"Let's go, prince without crown," I said, which made Lee laugh.

"It looks like you should stop by my castle to see my crown, princess Aisyah," Lee replied which made me laugh.

Then we walked up to the elevator and down to the lobby and got out of the hospital and entered Lee's car which was still located in the front parking lot of the hospital. After that Lee drove me home safely.

Honestly for tonight, I'm so impressed with what Lee has done for me.

I should have fallen in love with her, right?
