Part 60 | I'm not a port

It didn't take long for Devano to adapt to his new job as a Waiter because it used to be during his military training that he used to work side by side as a Waiter at one of the restaurants.

The difficult times that Devano had experienced in his childhood and adolescence made him not easy to complain even when his legs were paralyzed like some time ago.

The father's hard education managed to make Devano a strong person in terms of physical, but not in terms of his mind because behind the solidity of Devano hidden fragility that could one day be destroyed if lost its support.

And the support by Devano now is Aisyah and her daughter who she is looking for. So if Devano loses two of those supports in his life, then he will be crushed to the brink even it is almost impossible for him to have hope to rise again.

In the midst of busy serving the visitors of the cafe that is increasingly coming. Devano's eyes did not want to be separated to look at Aisyah who was calming Lee who looked emotionally at the beautiful woman who was now standing in front of Aisyah and herself.

"What really happened between them?" ask Devano more to yourself.

"Mas, I want to order a new menu that package couple dong," pinta one customer.

"Eh, yes. Please," Devano said, turning his attention back to the customer.

"You want a spicy flavor or a cheese one, mbak?" devano asked while showing the latest menu book belonging to the Pomegranate Cafe.

"That's spicy" replied the customer.

"Okay, I'll wait, ma'am," said Devano, who then went to the back to get the customer's order.

In his heart, Devano was still curious about what really happened between Aisyah, Lee, and the beautiful woman standing in front of them earlier.

But never mind, Devano did not want his curiosity to continue because he realized now Aisyah and herself already have their own lives. There was no right for him to interfere in Aisyah's life affairs anymore unless his ex-wife herself asked him to intervene again.

Devano continued his work until the afternoon, and in the evening he left for the police station to visit Rifa at his place of detention.

Devano plans to interrogate Rifa about Dasha because she wants to see her daughter soon.

But when he arrived in custody and met with Rifa, Devano was even furious because the woman did not want to open her mouth when asked about Dasha.

"Why are you silent Rifa!" snapped Devano mad.

"Right now answer! You've been hiding Dasha all this time? My name!" snapped Devano again.

Rifa instead looked at Devano with her piercing gaze. "Why are you asking me about your son? Did you know for yourself that your son is dead?"

The words that came out of Rifa's mouth made Devano's anger peak. The man slapped but had not yet hit Rifa's face Devano's hand stopped.

"Why not, Dev?" rifa asked with a glare.

"Slap me as hard as you want, Devan!!" rifa shouted in despair.

"I don't want to be a rude man like your father and also my father, so please answer my question truthfully" Devano said in an intimidating cold tone.

"If I answer your question, do you want to love me again?" rifa asked with a hint of hope in her heart.

Now it is Devano's turn to be unable to answer the difficult questions of Rifa. The man was silent a thousand languages while looking at Rifa face with hate in his heart.

"Huh, it seems like I'm going to the wrong place, I should be looking for my son with my own instincts instead of asking a heartless woman like you," devano then leaves the desperate Rifa in custody.

"Really, now I regret ever helping and loving a woman as bad as her" Devano regretted as he walked away from the police station.

The next plan tonight is for Devano to go see someone who is currently working as a butler in the Rifa family home.

Meanwhile, in another place, Aisyah is agitated and cannot close her eyes because her mind continues to drift to the incident last afternoon where she accidentally meets Lee with Georgina who turns out to be a former lee's girlfriend who left the man in college.

Aisyah really does not know that Lee also has a painful past with her ex-boyfriend. Now he feels guilty and wants to apologize and comfort the heart of Lee who may be upset to meet again with the woman who once hurt and leave him in the wound.

Lee wants to meet Aisyah and tell her what really happened until she was out of touch three days ago. But once he arrived at the cafe he even saw someone he did not want to see again for the rest of his life.

Georgina Alessandra is the first love and person whom Lee loved in the past.

Lee looked at Georgina with a hard-to-read look, while Georgina looked at Lee longingly. Then the beautiful bloody crossbred woman approached Lee and immediately hugged the man's body without permission.

"I miss you so much, David." Georgina tightened her embrace.

Lee's eyes glazed over and then he forced off Georgina's embrace and pushed the woman's body away from her.

"Why? Have you been bored with your adventure until you finally decided to come back to see me?" asked Lee with a smell.

Aisyah who was standing next to Lee could only watch and did not know what to do other than to listen to the conversation between Lee and Georgina.

"David, please forgive me, I know I was wrong because I left you, but you know that for my future and at that time I promised you that I would come back when I succeeded in achieving my goals, and now I've succeeded so please accept me again because I still love you" Georgina said with tears in her eyes.

"I'm not a port that you can just leave and then you come back after you're tired of sailing."

"I'm just an ordinary human being who can be hurt by loss, so please don't appear before me again when you've decided to disappear from my life" Lee said, staring at Georgina with a sharp gaze.

"I know deep down you still love me, don't you, David?" Georgina apparently still insists on returning to Lee.

But fortunately Lee was not affected and even fed up with women who had hurt and wasted it.

"You're wrong, the woman I love right now is her and only her" Lee said as she grabbed Aisyah's hand and made her owner jump slightly in shock.

"I can't believe you're just making it up so I can go, right?"

"I'm serious, Gie," Lee said.

"Hahaha, it's really my guess, you must be kidding, the proof is that you still call my name with that beloved call," said Georgina who was later replied to a sad gaze by Lee.

"Aisyah, let's find another place" Lee asked Aisyah to leave the cafe.
