Part 62 | Suspicion

Two beautiful women of different generations meet in the roof top of a five-star hotel for dinner while giving up longing. They are Lee Ni Na and Georgina Alessandra.

"Oh my god, Gigie! The aunt misses you, if you have not returned to Indonesia until the end of this year, the aunt plans to follow you to Russia you know," mrs Lee Ni Na said she finished playing with Georgina.

"Yes god! Aunty, I also miss aunty at all, I have long wanted to go home to Indonesia but my schedule there is always crowded and can not be left alone," reply Georgina while stroking the back of Lady Lee Ni Na's hand with a spoiled look.

"What do you want to order?" george asked when a servant came to their table.

"Steak and Champagne seems to be good to enjoy with you" replied Mrs Lee Ni Na as she blinked one eye.

"Haha, from the past until now aunty is always good at determining special food and drinks," said Georgina who made Mrs Lee Ni Na blush.

"You can do this," replied Mrs Lee Ni Na who really likes to get compliments.

"Oh yeah, Gie... Actually, before coming here the aunt had invited David to come to dinner with us, but he instead refused on the grounds that there is still a lot of work that has not been completed," mrs Lee Ni Na said with a guilty face.

"No papa, aunt. I can tell her, and two days ago I met David in person."

"Ooh, does that mean you met David instead of aunty?"

"Yes, aunt."

"But when I met David, I thought he had changed a lot, especially in terms of his attitude" Georgina said with a sad look.

Tonight Aisyah decided to stay at the hospital because she wanted to know the development of Devano's condition after the man was operated on.

Never did Aisyah expect the event where she accompanied Devano in the hospital at that time, reoccur as a used cassette that can still be played again.

Shortly after, a doctor approached Aisyah and invited her to the room to talk about Devano's condition after the surgical procedure was carried out.

"Look, Ma'am Aisyah. It seems, the puncture on the patient's back is so powerful that it makes some of his bones cracked. Fortunately we the medical team managed to run the operation well. God willing, the patient will soon be aware and we will immediately move him to the treatment room."

Aisyah who had just listened to the explanation from the Doctor immediately muttered a sentence of gratitude many times.

"Thank you for your hard work, Doc."

"Together, Mother. Saving patients is a duty and a duty to me."

After the discussion with the Doctor was finished, Aisyah went to the ICU room to see for herself the state of Devano and when she got there Aisyah was even surprised to find Devano who turned out to be conscious.

Even Devano smiled broadly as Aisyah walked up to him and sat down on the right side seat of her blank.

"Alhamdulillah you are conscious. I felt a little relieved, " said Aisyah as she looked at Devano's pale face. Understandably, the condition of the man's body has not improved completely.

"Aren't you going home to change your clothes and rest?" ask Devano.

Aisyah looked down at her messy appearance from the tip of the shoe to the tip of her hijab which still had traces of Devano's blood.

"Call Lee, get the guy over here and drive you home. I won't calm down if you go home alone again, Ayesha." Devano advised Aisyah to return home safely.

"Are you no papa left alone?" asked Aisha hesitatingly.

Devano smiled faintly then looked up at Aisyah's face with a difficult to decipher gaze. "If there's anything with me, I can call the doctor. So don't worry, anyway even though the hospital's night is never quiet" he said convincingly.

Aisyah let out a long breath then nodded. "Well I'll call Lee to pick me up here and drive me home" he said.

"Aisyah, Lee is a good man, gentle, loving and responsible. But if one day you marry him, you must always be vigilant because those around Lee may not be good people," devano said to distract Aisyah who was charging her phone to contact Lee.

"You mean that criminal who was the one that the Lee family told me to harm? that so?" asked Aisyah with a faint frown on her forehead.

"Yes, it could be like that" Devano replied calmly.

Aisha shook her head in disbelief. "I didn't expect you to accuse those who love me of loving their own families with such a wicked accusation, Dev."

Devano chuckled softly. "It's up to you to believe it or not, after all I've just guessed and not confirmed it yet" Devano murmured as he closed his sleepy eyes.

"Sometimes bad people often look like good people and good people can look like bad people. So it never hurts to be vigilant and always be careful of anyone around us," said Devano who then fell asleep because the nurse had previously given a sedative in his infusion bag.
