The Woman Who Was Hurt

The Woman Who Was Hurt
Part 38 | Emotional?

Aisha POV.

Lee was checking the tap water in Stevani's bathroom which he said was broken, so now I'm just alone with Lee's father and it makes the atmosphere turn awkward. Fortunately, Lee's father immediately opened the conversation so that I would feel comfortable again.

"Aisha, do you know?" ambiguity question.

"Not knowing, his own om has not told Aisyah," I replied trying to be relaxed.

"Haha, you have a sense of humor too?" father Lee said as he laughed crisply.

I smiled holding back the laughter.

"Yes that's it om, my sense of humor is still quite bad," to be honest I made Dad Lee again laugh crisply.

A few moments later the middle-aged man's laughter subsided and he began to look at me with a serious look, as if there was something he wanted to tell me.

"Aisyah, I want to say as many thanks to you, because thanks to you, Lee became someone better and attentive to his family, he said, pedahal remembers Lee being cold and caring for his family, including me and Stevani, but after he decided to become a Muslim and fall in love with you, he turned into a loving man and took great care of his family."

"And I'm really grateful for Lee's positive change after the conversion, so I'm not against it, not like my wife who is Lee's own mother who until now still does not accept Lee's Islam" said Lee's father.

"Om no need to thank me, because Lee changed for the better it was not because of me, but because there was an impulse from his own heart that made him do such positive things, all I have done so far is to support him" I explained with a smile.

Lee's father looked at me and smiled as well. And when he just wanted to open his mouth again, Lee came and sat down next to me and looked at his father suspiciously.

"Hayo! Appa wants to leak my bad habits to Aisyah, huh?" accuse Lee of misunderstanding.

"Oh my God, why are you accusing Appa like that? Just so you know yes, Appa and Aisyah are just chatting casually and it has nothing to do with you either." Lee's father put on his pouting face.

"What was true that my Appa said just now, Ayesha?" lee asked, turning his eyes towards me.

I nodded but could not be denied that at this time I wanted to laugh because I saw the sullen face made by Father Lee.

"Huhu, it seems Aisyah lied and conspired with Appa," lamented Lee who still thinks that just now his father and I were talking about his ugliness, in fact we are discussing his goodness.

"You don't believe it at all, but Appa's gone."

"Oh yeah, since it's late in the afternoon so don't forget to take Aisyah home safely huh, Lee." Lee's father still had time to blink one eye at me before he stepped out of the living room.

While Lee glared unacceptable for his father's behavior. "I'm sorry Appa ku Aisyah, she likes to be flirtatious and silly" Lee said, looking at me guiltily. But I actually laughed amusedly because for me what was done Father Lee was not a bad thing.

"I don't mind Lee, even I think your father is funny," I replied that made Lee's face immediately turned envious.

"It turns out that Appa is one step ahead of me." Lee pouted as he said it, while I responded with an amused pang of urgency.

******

After performing the ashar prayer and listening to the cult from Ustadz I immediately approached Lee.

"Lee," called me as the man focused on putting his shoelaces on the Mushola stairs.

"What?" sahut Lee looked up to see my face.

"Can you take me to my son's grave?" my many.

"When?" Lee asked me about his time.

"Now too" I replied without hesitation.

"But it's half-five in the afternoon, Shah. Not tomorrow?" cetus Lee's.

I shook my head because somehow my heart was eager to go to Dasha's grave right now, probably because I was missing my beloved daughter so much.

"Alright, I'll take you there," said Lee who made me smile at him.

"Thank you Lee" I looked at him sincerely.

"You don't have to say thank you, Ayesha. You just need to allow me to always take care of you and love you" Lee said as he showed his best smile to me.

"I hope you can wait for me Lee, you understand that my past has made me parno to start a relationship again?"

"Let's go, then go to the Maghrib again," asked Lee who I immediately nodded quickly.

Then we both went to eat Dasha in Lee's Range Rover. And upon arriving at the location, I was surprised to find a well-built man crying next to the Dasha's vortex.

"Lee, you're here first huh?" it was my door that confused Lee. But then he nodded in agreement after seeing the familiar face of a man who was crying in the tomb of my daughter.

"No papa, right?" I felt bad for Lee.

"It's okay, Aisyah. I understand that you still have personal affairs with him, so now get it over with and let me take care of you from here," Lee replied calmly, but I was sure that in his heart he was feeling uneasy.

Finally with mixed feelings I approached someone who was none other than the Devano.

"Ekhem." I cleared my throat and made Devano very surprised to learn of my presence next to him.

"How come you're here?" devano asked which made me look at her doubtfully.

"The one who should ask like that is me, Dev," I replied the circus.

"Sorry, I mean since when are you here?" devano correction while wiping tears on his face.

"Today," I answered briefly.

Devano turned his head and looked at me with a look of regret that made me immediately throw my face because I did not want to melt again because of it.

"If you're done mending now you're gone" I'm kicked out without seeing Devano's face.

"I'm not done yet, Ayesha. I still want to be here with my daughter because I miss her so much" Devano said, angering my heart.

"Why? Why do you miss Dasha? Back when Dasha was alive and missed you, you went where Devan was!"

"Every day my daughter Dasha always asks where her Abi is, every night I hear her deliriously wanting to meet her Abi until she cries and has a fever."

"Well, you know Dev, Dasha, my daughter is a genius and sensitive child, every time she always makes me queried by her questions, and from all her many curiosities, she always makes me queried, what he asked me the most was when you would meet him and I couldn't answer because I didn't want to give him false hope if I said you would meet him, Dev."

I let out a long sigh and wiped my tears that flowed profusely with the outburst of anger that I had been pending for so many years, after which I glanced at Devano who was crying in silence. The man who had been my husband seemed to be unable to say anything more so he was only able to listen to my emotional overflow.

"If you used to only hurt me, maybe I could still give you a chance to heal him, but the problem is not only me who felt the pain was Dev, but Dasha as well, as long as you know, but the problem is not only me who felt the pain was Dev, every time I take him outside he must have heard the insults of those who say that he is the child of infidelity, hiks... hiksah!" I let out my emotions to Devano in front of him directly. To let him know, how painful it was to be me when he found Dasha crying longing for her figure that he had never even seen since he was born into the world.

"I'm sorry dear Umi, Umi has scolded your Abi in front of your rest" I regretted in my heart while looking at Dasha's vortex and sprinkling the flowers I carried around her.
