Beautiful Affair
BA #10 - A Hope

Ryan watched Alira who was eating very voraciously, like someone who was starving. And immediately Ryan remembered the reddish marks on Alira's cheeks last night.

"Alira, can I ask you something?" Ryan and Alira just nodded as they continued to eat their breakfast.

"Did someone hurt you? Last night I saw your cheeks red, both," said Ryan who made Alira stop chewing immediately, he stared at the plate and smiled wryly.

"Nothing, maybe because of the fever," replied Alira then he returned to eating but he looked tasteless.

"really?" Ryan murmured in disbelief, Alira just shrugged her shoulders. "Okay" said Ryan.

After breakfast, Alira returns to her room as well as Ryan.

Ryan immediately took a shower, because he had to go to the shooting location now because the distance was quite far.

When Daniel arrived home, he ran straight to his room and when Daniel opened the door, Alira, who was currently drying her hair, was shocked.

"Darling...." Daniel stepped wide towards Alira, his eyes were so sweet and a look of regret was clearly visible on his face.

While Alira could only stare at Daniel blankly, she even fell silent as Daniel hugged her.

"I'm sorry, honey. I didn't mean to slap you yesterday" said Daniel, who made Alira smile wryly.

He pushed Daniel slowly and it made Daniel's heart slip, Alira was tired of all Daniel's madness.

"I want to be alone" said Alira but Daniel shook his head firmly.

"I beg you, dear. Don't be mad, hm? I'm really sorry, yesterday I was worried because you left without my permission" Daniel said.

"Always like this, Daniel. You'll regret it, promise, then repeat it again, I'm tired!" Alira exclaimed desperately, even her eyes were already teary and her chest was again tight.

"Iira..." Daniel hugged Alira tightly, no matter what Alira tried to push him. "I'm sorry, honey. I promise it's his last, I promise I won't hurt you again. You know I love you so much, baby. I love you more than anything."

Alira sobbed at Daniel's confession, she loved her husband very much, but his love seemed to erode because of all Daniel's treatment so far.

"Millions of times you promised me, Daniel. And a million times have you denied it" said Alira in the midst of her sobs.

"You don't love me as a wife, Daniel. You only love me as an object."

"Don't say that, Alira," said Daniel, releasing Alira from his arms, gently wiping his wife's tears.

"Where's evidence?" alira asked in a stifled voice. "I don't want things, things, or materials, Daniel. I need proof of love that means more than anything."

Daniel was silent, looking into Alira's eyes that were emitting that wound. "Let's have a child" said Daniel who made Alira immediately wide.

He looked into Daniel's eyes, and the man looked very serious. "Stop taking the contraceptive pill, honey. Let's have a child, a beautiful, handsome one, who will perfect our lives."

Alira was filled to hear what Daniel said, because that was her hope all along, her dream.

"You... You sure?" alira asked to be sure, with a big smile, Daniel nodded for sure.

"We have everything, baby. Just a kid who hasn't, we'll have him soon enough. You want a girl or a boy, hm?" Daniel asked in a very soft voice while stroking Alira's cheek.

Alira smiled happily and she immediately hugged her husband tightly, her heart was so happy and she prayed, hoping that this would be a wonderful start for her.

Daniel held Alira, he kissed her on the head several times while muttering apologies and expressions of love.

"Darling, how about we have another honeymoon?" Daniel asked which made Alira look up straight away.

"Honeymoon again? Where's where?" Ask Alira.

"Where do you want it, baby. Who knows, we'll have children soon."

Alira was happier to hear her husband's words, her heart was flowery and her eyes sparkled, she immediately kissed Daniel's lips gently but then Alira frowned when she realized the smell of alcohol from the husband's mouth.

"You drink alcohol?" Alira and Daniel just grimaced. "Park there, stink!" Alira flicked her hand in front of her nose, while Daniel chuckled.

Seeing the happy look on Alira's face made her feel very happy too, and Daniel hoped this would be the beginning of their true happiness.

Daniel is not ready to have children, he is afraid of all possibilities, including fear of not being able to make his son happy like his parents who can not make Daniel happy. Also afraid that later Alira will be busy with her son and ignore Daniel.

But for Alira's sake, he would prepare himself.

"I want to take a bath with you," Daniel said in a spoiled tone, even as his hands began to sway Alira's arms.

Alira smiled and fulfilled her husband's request.
