BA #61 - After Long Time

6 Years later...

"Good morning, baby...."

"Emm..." Alira moans lazily in her sleep.

"Honey, they are hungry, let's get up.." Daniel's voice sounded so soft in his ear, Alira pulled Daniel's shirt until Daniel fell down next to him then Alira pushed his body into Daniel's body, she breathed her husband's scent deeply.

"Alright, go to sleep, hem..." Daniel stroked Alira's cheeks gently, landed a warm kiss on her forehead and Alira went back to sleep peacefully in her husband's arms.

Alira moved uneasily in her sleep as she saw the extremely terrifying flames in her dream, Alira shivering in fear, cold sweat already flooding her body.

"Sshshshttt, relax, honey. It was just a dream" Daniel whispered softly in his ear. "I'm here, honey. We're here, everything's fine." Listening to the husband's whisper, Alira slowly regained her composure, even smiling in her sleep as she felt Daniel's embrace.

Alira moved uneasily as she felt the sunlight touch her face, she slowly opened her eyes and she saw Daniel opening the window curtain.

"I'm sorry to bother you, but it's noon" Daniel said with a smile, as he approached Alira, giving a warm kiss on the wife's lips. "Be careful, the children must be hungry."

Alira pulled Daniel's shirt and then he cut Daniel's lips intensely, giving him a great kiss, which made Daniel groan. Alira chuckles, she jumps out of bed then rushes to the bathroom while Daniel just looks at her with a pus.

"Good morning, Baby boy.." greeted Alira with a big smile on a pair of twins who are now sitting on the floor, one playing games on his gadget, the other painting.

"Good morning, Mama. Did you sleep well last night?"

"Very good, Leon," replied Alira then he gave a good morning kiss on the forehead of his son named Leon.

"I hope you don't have nightmares, Mama," said Leon's younger brother, Leo.

"No, Leo. Mama had a very beautiful dream," Alira replied after giving a kiss good morning to Leo as well. "So, what do you guys want for breakfast this morning?" Alira asked as she looked at the two children alternately.

"Breakfast is ready, Sister-in-law..." Alira turned her head and she smiled amusedly when she saw Ryan coming with a face filled with flour, do not forget also the pink apron with heart motifs.

"Thank you, you're a good uncle, sister-in-law," Alira later said.

Ryan approached Alira, and cleaning Alira's flour-filled hand, Ryan kissed Alira on the back, frowning and saying, "Hem, it still smells like onions. You should wash your real hands."

"Yes, this is also bothering me," said Alira lazily.

As he arranges the food at the dinner table, the sound of a doorbell is heard, Leo and Leon scramble to open the door.

"Don't scramble, you can open the door together." cried Alira from the kitchen.

"Well, Mama," the twins answered simultaneously.

"Did you bring me a picture book from Paris?" Ask Leo enthusiastically.

"In Indonesia there are many picture books, why did you ask for one from Paris?" Ask Leon cynically.

"I prefer branded goods" replied Leo cuek who made Viona chuckle.

"Well, Auntie bring souvenirs for all of you. Now let's go inside," Viona asked.

Viona put Leo's toys and picture books on the middle table, the two children were scrambling to see Viona's souvenirs.

Meanwhile, Viona now goes to the kitchen with bread.

"Good morning, Alira.." said Viona as she placed a paper bag containing bread on the dinner table. "I bought bread for breakfast, I don't think you're going to cook because yesterday you said you weren't feeling well" Viona said.

"I'm fine, Ryan helped me cook," Alira replied with a smile that made Viona frown.

"Al, you...."

"Mama, Leo's hungry...."

"Leon too...."

Viona's words had to stop at the arrival of the two children, Alira also helped them sit in their seats and then they had breakfast together, as well as Viona.

Breakfast suit, Viona came home because she still has a lot of work."Thank you, Auntie," said Leo and Leon.

"Together, Honey. Aunty go home first, take care of Mama, yeah."

"Sure, Aunt...."

"As I promised, I looked after her as best I could, Ryan.." - Wirred Viona in a trembling voice as she placed a flower on the grave where her headstone was inscribed with Ryan Reiner's name.

"I've taken your wife to the best psychiatrist, Daniel. But it looks like he's the one who doesn't want to heal...." Viona also placed a flower on Daniel's grave next to Ryan's. Viona rubbed the tomb bearing Daniel Agra's inscription. "What should I do? Just leave? I'm afraid Alira's hallucinations are mentally disturbing your children."

Viona wiped away her tears, she took a breath and exhaled slowly. "We miss you guys...."
