BA #30 - Can't Lose You

Alira rubbed the tears that had not stopped flowing on her cheeks after hearing Ryan's love confession, she looked Ryan in the eyes, looking for lies there, but Ryan only showed honesty.

"I know, maybe you won't believe me, but I'm really in love with you, Alira. I'm tormented every time I see you close to Daniel" Ryan said in a low, frustrated voice.

"But I don't need your love, Ryan," replied Alira who immediately stunned Ryan. "I don't want anyone's love, I survive now only until Daniel is healed. After that, I'm going to get out of the lives of you two" Alira said, leaving Ryan with a troubled heart.

Just as Alira was about to open the door, Ryan again prevented her, he pulled Alira's hand and jerked Alira into his embrace.

"Ryan! Unhand me!" Furious Alira while hitting Ryan's chest, he tried to rebel but his strength is not how comparable to Ryan's strength.

"Please.." - Ryan glanced with a very sad look, Ryan caught Alira's hand that kept hitting her chest and then put Alira's hand where her heart was beating very fast and it was only because of Alira.

Alira was stunned, and she looked directly into Ryan's eyes. "Please" Ryan once again. "I'm tormented, Alira. My chest tightens once every time you get close to Daniel, I feel like I can't breathe." Ryan said as if to cry, his voice trembling and his eyes reddened.

Alira was filled to hear Ryan's words, he touched Ryan's cheek and when Ryan closed his eyes, he touched Alira's hand and then kissed his half-brother's wife's palm.

"Be mine, Alira," whispered Ryan in a deep thumping that made Alira's heart flutter.

"I belong to your brother, Ryan," Alira replied in a trembling voice.

"But you're gonna get divorced from her, right? I'll wait for you, until I die I'll wait for you, Alira."

"What's wrong?" Alira jumped when she felt a touch of Daniel on her arm, Alira was feeding Daniel dinner. "Since then, you've looked different, honey. You shut up more, is there a problem?" Ask Daniel gently.

Alira immediately shook her head, then she returned to feed Daniel. "I was just thinking about the company," Alira replied lying.

The incident in the office really caught his attention, he could not forget Ryan's very different gaze, his words, his actions.

"I'm sorry, honey. I promise I'll get well soon and take over the company again, so you can rest at home and just be a housewife" Daniel said with a sweet smile, Alira was full of joy, her husband had changed greatly, becoming as she wished.

But, why did Alira's heart remain unchanged? Still bland to Daniel, there's no more love like before.

"Please ask the doctor when I can go home" Daniel said.

"A few more days, just be patient" Alira and Daniel nodded.

Ryan was acting normal, even he also threw a smile at Alira as if there was nothing.

"What are you doing here?" Daniel asked as Ryan dropped his body on the sofa.

"Bringing you, I'm sure Alira must be tired so I want her to come home" Ryan replied. Daniel looked at Alira and Alira looked very tired.

"Do you want to go home, honey? It's okay if you want to go home, you need to rest, too" Daniel said. "You can go home too, Ryan. There's a Doctor and a Nurse who's keeping me here." she continued, which made Ryan smile happily but Alira interrupted immediately.

"No, I'll stay here" he said.

"Darling, you need rest" said Daniel softly. "I don't want you to get tired and get sick, who will take care of me?"

"That's right, Alira," Ryan continued.

"Come home, come here again tomorrow morning, hm."

Inevitably Alira finally came home with Ryan, Daniel looked at the departure of his wife and sister with an uncomfortable feeling, he felt a bad feeling but Daniel tried to ignore the feeling.

"Why do you look so unhappy when you have me, hm?" Ryan asked as he glanced at Alira who sat scowling beside him. "First, you couldn't get out of the house without me, I've even come up like your shadow. Then what's up now?" Ask.

"What do you really want, Ryan?" Alira asked coldly.

"You," replied Ryan firmly. "I want you, and I can't lose you." Alira laughed sarcastically at Ryan's reply.

"You won't lose me because I'm not yours, Ryan. You should know that, and don't forget I'm still Daniel's wife, your brother." Alira reminded firmly.

"My brother's ex-wife." Ryan corrected quickly. "When she's healed, you'll get divorced from her, so that's when, I'll have you" Ryan said confidently but Alira laughed again.

"I don't want to belong to a woman who has fucked a lot of women."
