Daniel and Ryan are stepsisters who have different characters but are caused by the same, which is a family that is not harmonious, involved in an affair scandal, and, which makes them grow in hatred and lack of affection.

Ryan's father Anthony is a very famous model, has a successful career but his affair scandal with several female models has destroyed his career and even destroyed his family.

His mother Melrin divorces Antony and Ryan's custody falls into his hands, but Ryan is unhappy that the mother is not a holy woman. Her father's affair was in retaliation for Merlin's previous affair.

Ryan grew up in hatred and distrust of relationships, people he said married out of love, so why hurt each other ?

The same thing experienced by Daniel, his mother named Miranda is a lecturer who is reluctant, famous for being wise and intelligent. But it turns out he has an affair that is none other than the owner of the campus where he works.

While the father named Giorgino is a successful businessman and of course always busy with his work.

Daniel knows, the mother longs for the affection of her father, longs for his caress while her father is so indifferent to it that his mother seeks the affection of another man .

Just like Ryan's life, Daniel's life is ruined, every day he will always witness his parents' endless quarrels, until they forget to love Daniel who feels lonely.

Until one day Daniel witnessed an extraordinary quarrel between his mother and father that made his mother fall from the stairs, making him experience a critical condition and eventually died.

But on the day of his mother's death, Daniel shed not a single tear, for him it was a proper reward for his mother .

A few years later fate brings Giorgino and Merlin together, they tie their relationship to marriage and tie Ryan and Daniel's relationship in a mutual bond .

The two children are happy, they have new friends and family, hoping it can replace their lost happiness. But hope lives hope, they do not get the love of parents they want .

Giorgino Agra was still busy with all his business, and the wife felt an outburst of affection that finally happened again infidelity.

Until one day, the two who could not stand it all ran away from home, making Giorgino and Merlin again quarrel and blame each other.

The two of them searched for their son in the dark night and the heavy rain, and because of the slippery roads and heavy rain, their car lost control which led to a terrible accident, they cut off the road and fell into the river.

Both died on the spot. And again, Daniel shed not a single tear upon the death of his father. Likewise with Ryan who refused to cry over his mother .

After that, Daniel has no one but his half-sister, while Ryan still has his father but he already considers his father dead.

Daniel and Ryan move on with their lives, and unknowingly, the wounds in their childhood shape their natures as well as their characters as adults.

"Darling ...." Daniel gasped as he felt Alira's gentle touch in his hand, he turned to his wife . "What's wrong?" Alira asked softly because Daniel had been daydreaming, his eyes blank.

Daniel looked around him, and now that they were at a restaurant for dinner, Ryan was there too.

Ryan's arrival brings Daniel back to mind with their past .

"I think a lot has changed here, the food used to be much better than this" Ryan said, who is currently enjoying grilled salmon .

As promised by Daniel, he invited his half-sister to eat outside, more precisely eating in their favorite place first. "It all changed, Ryan. The past will never be the same as the present" Daniel said .

"I hope so," Ryan said with a wry smile. "More than the terrible past"
