Baskara was increasingly clueless with the mind path of Dusk. Why would the girl bring another man into her residence at such a dangerous hour. Even when the two have no relationship.
Maybe if Dusk had said Robert was the girl's lover, Baskara could have understood a little more. Maybe today's time is still not enough for them to go through together. Even though it's still wrong.
Dusk did not know very well the man who allowed him to enter his private area. Fortunately, he arrived on time. Otherwise, Baskara would not even want to imagine what would happen to his best friend.
"If you have nothing to do. What the hell is he doing here in the middle of the night?" ask Baskara once more because Dusk is like a confusion to answer. This time with more stable emotions and a decreased tone of speech.
Dusk can only be lowered. He was confused as to what to answer. If he had said earlier that there were other friends, Baskara would have been even more angry. Because the young man would have known if they had drunk liquor - even though he had not touched it in the slightest - from the smell of alcohol emanating from Robert.
But if you don't tell the truth, Baskara will get more misunderstood and maybe his best friend will label him as a bad girl because of being alone with a guy like this.
"Lo know it's dangerous, Ja?! No one can really believe it... So at least you can act safe. Avoid anything that invites danger!" repelled. Wishing Dusk be more self-sufficient.
Still with his head down, Dusk said. "So there were other children too" his great-grandson who eventually confessed. Bad reality is still better than sweet-looking lies that end up disappointing. And of course Dusk does not want to do that. What's more the lie is no sweetness at all. If he lied, he would still make Baskara angry. And for Dusk it was enough they were hostile a few years ago.
"Why do you gather here?" ask Baskara suspiciously. "Don't tell me you're having an alcohol party here?" guess it's on target.
Fearfully Dusk nodded weakly. He accepted the anger of Baskara. He is guilty of this. And his mistake ended with him almost wretched.
It was not impossible if Robert would kill him after being content to enjoy his body. Because if he's alive, it can be made sure he won't let Robert get away without throwing him in prison with the toughest sentence the court can give.
"Oh my God, Ja!" Baskara lowered her head massaging her pulsating temple. Why did he become like a father who was worried about his daughter?
And why should the girl he was worried about have to be as hard as Dusk to arrange? "Why are you getting out of control like this?"
"Gue guess, my presence on your side can make you far from your friends who are not real. Stay away from the dangers that are here."
The twilight is getting lower. He felt guilty with Baskara's weak tone.
"Gue thought you were happy with my existence." Baskara grunts bitterly. "It turns out my presence just makes you feel depressed. Until I need space to not connect you, you go back to your friends and do as you please."
Dusk lifted his chin instantly. Bustling rejects Baskara's presumption. Because he was not depressed at all with the presence of the young man and all the rules. "Bu-not gi-gutu, Bas."
"What's not that?" Baskara to take a seat to be able to stare at Dusk more clearly. "What happened tonight is clear, Ja. And it seems like my presence here is no longer needed. Because I can't change anything."
Baskara. But immediately his wrist was blocked by the friend. "Where are you going?" ask Dusk timidly. Just this time Dusk was afraid of Baskara. He usually never gives up on arguing. But this time Dusk looks like a kitten that's afraid of losing its mother.
"Home, then. What else am I here for?" ask her with her raised eyebrows.
"Don't! I beg you, Bas. I'm afraid to be alone at home." she said in the lightest tone possible. A little dramatized so that Baskara does not leave him. "I don't mean anything like what you said before, koook.. I've only been spilling out this week. I didn't come today, though I'm sure. So after Maureen nawarin party here because you do not ngizinin me to the club, yes I have agreed instead of bete."
"So now you're beating me up?"
Why is Baskara so sensitive?
"Bu-not.." Dusk took a long breath. Don't know how else to explain. "Well whatever it is, I beg you to meet me tonight huh? I'm still afraid of the same thing."
Unable to see the face of Dusk who seemed really scared, Baskara finally relented. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Sit back and help Dusk treat his wound.
This time the wound was on the neck of the Dusk. Scratches of nail polish the skin as white as milk. Four nails on the left neck, one on the right.
Baskara shook her head in concern. Why would a man like Robert be rude to women. And why such a man should meet with a friend he loves.
With his hands busy smearing the medicine, Dusk told him everything that happened until finally Baskara came.
Baskara also continued to lecture the girl to be more careful. NY is not their country. Not a place and people they already know their nature. It is not a place where many people we know ask for help. NY is a wilderness they don't know what it is.
"Now sleep there, it's morning." The clock on the wall shows three o'clock in the morning. It turned out that reporting on Robert and the debate between them was quite time consuming as well.
Dusk lowered. Playing the fingernails in the middle and thumb. Like hesitating to say something. And it was caught clearly in the eyes as dark as night owned Baskara who could not be separated staring at the girl.
"Why again?" this time Baskara was able to say soft as usual.
"Gue's scared."
"Continue?" ask Baskara confused. He knew the girl was scared. But this time what to fear. The apartment is safely locked. And there was him who was ready to take care of Dusk while he was there.
"Temenin." great-grandson of the girl in front of him. The more make his brain that has been screaming for rest the more he understands.
"Temenin where? Sleep on?" his intention was just as joking. The girl in front of him nodded.
"Lo's crazy, Ja? aren't you sure guys sleep together?"
The twilight throbbed in annoyance and lashed quite a blow at Baskara's upper arm. "I mean, you sleep on the couch, I sleep on the bed! not sleeping together in bed. It's delicious!"
Baskara immediately laughed. "Are you sure you don't want to sleep in your bed?" goda. "When on the couch, I ogah ah. I'll wake up in a pegel again!"
With a stomp of annoyed legs, Dusk passed just like that from before Baskara and headed for his room. Not caring about Baskara who again laughed at his behavior.
