“So, you mean her legs became swollen just from being stepped on once?” yadid asked in surprise.
Arimbi who felt very embarrassed also replied, “Night I wore a high heel and I stepped on his feet very hard. At least I'm grateful that his legs don't bleed.”
Yadid was silent at his daughter's reply. ‘It looks like I have to involve my son-in-law in this rescue mission. This guy is so sneaky, surely he deliberately did that to get close to my daughter!’
“Director Rafaldi!” call Dion Harimurti.
Dion's darkened gaze was so inversely proportional to his beautifully glistening eyes, the man suddenly turned his head. “This is how you welcome guests, Mr Rafaldi? By letting them in and out as they please?”
As Yadid began to feel displeasure in Dion harimurti's tone, he reluctantly put his phone back in his pocket and stepped towards Dion after glaring at his daughter. Yadid felt a restlessness that was like a fierce wave in a wide ocean.
“Apologies Director Harimurti!”
When Dion and his guards entered the house, Yadid greeted him politely. Meanwhile, Mosha immediately brought her a new snack when she noticed Dion's arrival.
At that time, she was surprised to see her husband bowing and saluting Dion. At the same time, his daughter looked down grimly and also followed her into the house.
Mosha with a calm attitude immediately stepped over and presented the new home snacks he made and put on the table while smiling and inviting to Dion, “This is our home snack. I just made it. Please try.”
Arimbi oun followed his mother, he put aside the clothes he had bought for his parents and served tea to his guests. At that moment, Dion stared at the teapot containing the still steaming tea and pastries that had just been baked.
“Sorry for our sudden arrival Mrs Rafaldi!” he said politely.
“It's okay. Your arrival does not bother us at all. Nice to meet you here Director Harimurti.” Yadid took the opportunity to answer on behalf of his wife. Arimbi immediately approached his mother and whispered, “Dad is a master once in the business world, he really knows what to say and when to say it.”
Arimbi considered that he had to learn a lot from his father about business and how to behave in dealing with people. After hearing his daughter's words, Mosha squeezed her daughter's hand and reminded her that the famous guest was still here. So they have to maintain an attitude so as not to offend their guests.
“What brought you here, Director Harimurti?” Yadid already knew what the reason was but he just pretended not to know and asked carefully to speak stale only.
Then Dion raised her bandaged leg and glanced at Arimbi saying, “Nona Arimbi accidentally stepped on my foot last night. I've told him if anything happens to my feet, I'll hold him accountable.”
“Only overnight my feet became swollen and sore. I'm sure he should be responsible for my leg injuries. As you can see, I had trouble walking and had to use a wheelchair.”
Yadid turned to his daughter and apologized to Dion for representing his daughter, “Force us Director Harimurti for the incident.”
Jadid coughed softly at the words of his daughter. Dion is the head of the Harimurti family and he is the head of the Harimurti Group. Although they had to sell Arimbi, it would not be enough to cover Dion's daily living expenses. Arimbi was immediately touched to realize that he could not possibly afford the cost of compensation.
He glanced at Dion while looking forward to what the man would say next.
“My family doctor checked it and no bone damage was found. After a few days the swelling will disappear.” Dion explained. He won't ask for damages in the form of money but he wants another in return.
“I didn't ask Miss Arimbi to pay damages. I only have one request, which is that he should take care of me until my swollen legs heal and I can walk normally back.” he said in earnest.
That's the surprise he's prepared for, he's been thinking about this and this is his goal to come here today. He wants Arimbi to take care of him as Arimbi takes care of the Emir. This cunning guy!
Arimbi made silent a thousand languages. ‘If the Emir hears about this, I have to say goodbye to my life!’ whispered heart.
“Director Harimurti.I'll hire a nurse to help you get well okay? I...I have to work every day, so I'm a little difficult to take care of you.” finally he found a reason.
At the moment Arimbi is completely out of his mind to save himself. She did not want to make trouble for herself and lost her husband. But the reason did not shake Dion's decision, the man asked softly, “Director Rafaldi! Miss Arimbi works for your company. I'm sure it won't be a problem if he permits a few months, right?”
“Can we talk four points Director Harimurti?” Arimbi asked Dion before his father could respond. After all, he himself had to solve this problem without involving his father.
Deep down she knew that Dion was bothering her just because of the baby. But a baby from a previous life was never born in his present life.
Arimbi's heart was crumpled as he recalled the death of his daughter in his previous life. He hated himself for not being so bad in his previous life. He also blamed Dion. Where was that man when they really needed him in the past?
And in his present life, he had never fallen into a trap nor had any relationship with the man. Why does that guy keep bothering her?
Dion silently looked at the woman and as their eyes met, he nodded in agreement.
“Please take me for a walk out Miss Arimbi. It's my first time visiting the Rafaldi residence, so I want to take a look around.” pinta Dion Harimurti.
While in his heart Arimbi cursed and cursed the crafty man. ‘Huh! Just tell me you want me to treat you like I treat Emir! Yeah, obviously. The Emir is my rightful husband and I am responsible to him for the rest of my life.’.
Arimbi approached him from behind while the guards of the Harimurti family moved aside to give way. With concern mounting, Yadid and Mosha exchanged glances nervously.
The Rafaldi Family House is not as big as the Villa of the Serkan Family or Dion's house. But the Rafaldi family home has a quiet garden suitable as a place for four-eye talk.
