GIRL IN RED

GIRL IN RED
CHAPTER 86. DISILLUSIONED

“Is there anything else?” ask the Emir again.

“Ti—no. That's it.”

“The door is over there.” he said coldly. “Go.”

Arimbi was silent for a moment before he said, “Emir.”

“Tell me.”

“Say what?”

“Didn't you call me to say something? I told you, just tell me what you want to say.”

“But I don't want to say anything. I just want to call your name.”

“That's it?”

“That's it!” reply Arimbi.

The corner of the Emir's mouth lifted suddenly, he smiled at Arimbi. But Arimbi could only goosebumps when he saw the mysterious expression on her husband's face.

“Because you really like to call my name, I want you to call my name a hundred times from now on. Record on your phone then send it to me after reaching one hundred records.”

Arimbi finally realized that nothing good had emerged from the man's smile. At this point, it might be best to continue putting on her cold expression. If Arimbi continues to try to melt his iceberg-cold facial features, if he succeeds one day, Arimbi may be drowned in melting ice. “You will have to bear the consequences if I do not receive your voicemail.” threatened the Emir.

Arimbi felt tempted to ask the Emir what his punishment was if he did not do so but he finally asked, “Should I call you Mr Emir or Emir only?”

“What do you think?”

“Good. I know.” his face immediately pouted. Then Arimbi circled his desk and trudged out of his office with his head bowed.

The Emir was watching him all the time and there was a slight tingle in his eyes. Still, instead of calling him to stay, he quietly watched her leave. Then he called Rino after he was alone in his room. “Please come to my room for a minute.”

“Siap.”

Rino rushes into the elevator after the call and accidentally bumps into Arimbi who is waiting for the elevator.

As soon as she saw it, politely greeted her, “Young Miss Arimbi.”

The woman simply replied with a nod of her head. Desperately, he stepped into the elevator. Rino felt that Arimbi must have been disappointed about something but he had no time to spare to guess his thoughts as he rushed upstairs. Upon arriving at the office, Rino was given a bracelet.

He continued to stare at the Emir in bewilderment without taking the bracelet out of his boss' hands.

“Search a box for this and pack it well. I'll give this as a gift.”

After that Rino took the bracelet. “When will you need this Young Master Emir?”

“Quickly!” replied Emir.

Rino carefully slipped the bracelet into his suit pocket. “Young Emir, I met Young Miss Arimbi earlier. He looks disappointed because of something.”

Hearing that, the Emir calmly told him, “He just gave me his possessions. I wouldn't be happy if he wasn't disappointed. Because it means the bracelet is important to him or he can even ignore it if he is not sad after giving his bracelet to him.”

Rino did not dare to say a word after hearing the Emir's explanation.

“On the card I threw out this morning.Take some people with you and find out if you can get the card back.” said Emir.

“Dimas has it. Do you want him Young Master Emir?”

The Emir said nothing as he thought about how well his bodyguards knew him. It was so good that they were all loyal to him, otherwise he would not have let them be by his side.

After the Emir casually waved his hand, Rino took it as a sign for him to quietly leave the room. It didn't take long for Rino to get the card the Emir had thrown out this morning from Dimas. Rino handed it to Ciara who then took her in the director's room.

Inevitably Ciara wondered who in the world was brave enough to give something like this to the Emir. What was even more surprising then was how the Emir took the letter from him with his own hands. Women are usually more sensitive to things like this. From akrtu and the two little mice on his desk, Ciara suddenly felt that the Emir had changed.

She looks like she's falling in love”.

The woman who won her heart must be the luckiest woman in the world! At the same time Arimbi wonders if she is the luckiest woman in the world or not. Well it seems that way. After all, not everyone could come back from the dead to live their lives again like he had now.

...******...

After leaving the Emir's office, Arimbi took a taxi and went to his mother's house for lunch. Both of them seemed busy cooking in the kitchen when an uninvited guest came to the house. Mosha who was in the kitchen did not know the presence of this man in his house.

“Be careful not to damage it.” Yessi was instructing some workers to bring the engagement gifts delivered to the Rafaldi Family Residence from the car and into the house. All of those things are expensive things. To destroy it is to burn money. Yessi just kept causing a commotion for no reason.

Mosha was cooking for Arimbi in the kitchen when she heard a noise from outside. After he could not take it anymore, he raised his voice and asked. “Bik Nani! What's going on outside?”

The summoned butler happened to be feeding Arimbi's Ragdoll cat as he replied, “I'll go out to see, Madam.”

Then he left for a while and came back home in a hurry, “Mistress Rafaldi! That's Mrs Kanchana here to deliver the dowry! He looks very generous with his gifts because the items he carries look very expensive.”

Mosha's face immediately turned dark as soon as she heard it. She was confused as to why Yessi was still stubborn.

Why did he bring the dowry here? It was clear Mosha rejected his proposal the other day. Mosha did not want Reza to marry Arimbi because her daughter had married the Emir.

Even if Arimbi is not married, he will never approve of his daughter marrying into the Kanchana Family. But still Mosha took off her apron and asked Bik Nani to take over her duties.

He rushed towards the entrance to greet Yessi. As soon as Yessi saw it, a wide grin appeared on her face and she lovingly called out, “My message is dear!”

Blood quickly flowed from Mosha's face when she heard that. “Mrs Kanchana, you can't just say such deed! Our family may be familiar but we are not besan!”

Their true Besan was the Serkan Family but Mosha could not be free to say such a thing. Just thinking about this she felt sad for her daughter.

“I brought a dowry here today, Mrs Rafaldi. Here's how once you receive this gift, we can immediately choose a good date for the wedding. And once the big day comes, we'll be official. I just call you like that now so that we both feel comfortable with each other early.”
