The Romance of Earth and Blue

The Romance of Earth and Blue
PART 40 – Form of Consciousness

Some of this time we really worked hard to catch up on all the lags. Usually we work on the project in a cafe owned by Bima's sister-in-law who is not far from his home. Bima was not a problem at all had to go back and forth to bring all our needs.

It's Sunday but we have to be overtime for this project to be completed quickly. We made a promise in our usual place. I came first. But there is something strange because the cafe is still closed. Usually this cafe is open from 8 am and it is already 10 pm.

“So how is dek?” ask the brother who is still waiting for my decision.

I sat in front of the cafe trying to call Bima. Fortunately, he quickly missed his phone call.

“Yes, patience. This is on the road,” said Bima even before I open my voice.

“Not that.this cafe is closed,” I started to give him information.

“Iya? I'll call the same person soon.”

Bima just turned off the phone. I switched on brother, “just go home. Bima is already on the road,” I said telling him.

But my brother shook strongly. “Gak. It's quiet here, if there's anything how?”

I could only sigh and let him do what he wanted. Bima called me again.

“People are out of town. Pantes. So how'd you like? Do I want to win the key first? But his house is about an hour from here,” said Bima gave an option to overcome the problem.

“Do not. We'll find somewhere else,”.

“Ya where? If the public place I doubt they will want to accommodate a project that size is almost one meter.”

Also true. All this time because it was the cafe of his brother-in-law so we could be free.

“What do you want in my house?” tanyakanya.

“Gak!” reject me directly. It feels strange if I go to the house of the opposite sex who only status with friends. I think it's a little unethical.

“Continue where?” ask again.

I'm trying to think. I also did not want to take her to my house. Same reason.

Maybe because I was thinking for too long, Bima finally decided to borrow the key. But he still picked me up here so I wouldn't wait long.

Finally here I am, forced to listen to music with a jazz flow that does not match my taste. While next to me Bima looks very happy while nodding his head in accordance with the rhythm.

“Your music taste is strange,” I said commenting.

Bima looked over and nodded. “It's cool. Not weird.”

I'm shaking.

“If you want to change, just change, connect the same hpmu gih,” tell.

I turned to him who was focused towards the front. I finally turned off the music and replaced it with my playlist.

A few seconds later, the song from Mocca began to sound.

“So you like soft songs so yes,” comments.

I'm nodding. “What's wrong, right?” many ensure.

He did not answer but instead followed the song.I was quite amazed because it turns out he also knew the song. “You know the song?” my many.

“My mom likes dengerin.”

I laughed when he spoke English so casually that the lyrics of the song became strange. “Not spellingnya,” said.

“Where?”

I immediately hummed following the song. Bima occasionally chimed in the parts he knew. Our voices are equally discordant, but I do not feel ashamed at all because Bima is also the same.

“It's sure it's okay?” ask me while climbing the stairs.

“Iya. You were just on my sister's phone saying use it. Even if you can make your own drinks,” said Bima casually while carrying the board to the 2nd floor.

I also nodded. Bima started shifting some chairs to make our place spacious for us. After everything was done, we immediately returned to focus on this 80 percent project.

All the miniatures of the city are done, just stick them to the board and give details. Fortunately, Bima was really able to compensate me who always wanted perfectionism in doing the task.

He didn't complain about it at all. For this part, I don't regret a group with him.

All miniatures successfully taped at 2 pm. Pretty long because it takes extra cleanliness and patience to be neat.

“What do you want to eat? Ibeliin in front,” bargain Bima.

“What aja. I'm laper.”

Bima who was standing was looking straight at me. “Tumben says laper,” he said strangely.

“Ha?”

“Engga, usually if Blue is nawarin you pretended to say engga,” he said while chuckling.

I refocused the paper on the details of the grass. “Yes different. If the same Blue I keep image.”

Bima chuckled again.

“Ya. Wait a moment yes,” he said. “ dare right?”

“Iya. It's there.”

We used it for a late lunch. We then went back to finishing the project. At 4pm, it was all over. Oh my goodness I'm really relieved. It was as if one burden of life had been lifted.

“Ku anter aja, rather than waiting for your brother,” said Bima offered me when brother said that he was still at his lecturer's house with friends. I don't know what he's doing this weekend.

I'm shaking. “Gak deh.” Want as thick as anything Bima, I still can't bear. He must be tired too. The distance from our home is quite far. I don't want to fix it.

“Why? I go for a walk,” he said.

I'm back to shaking. “Beginning soon brother finished.”

Bima finally nodded. Now we are sitting in an ice cream shop which is only 3 stores away from the cafe. Think of this as a reward for those of us who have worked hard in recent times.

“Nih, no change?” tanya Bima gave a sheet of 100,000. Back then when we bought ice cream, we used my money first because they had no change.

I who was busy with my melted ice cream told Bima to take the change for herself in my wallet.

“What's really okay?” tanyanya.

“Iya. In front of me, if you take more yes I see,”.

Bima nodded and immediately took my wallet. When he opened it he immediately found my photo with Blue.

“Still impressed,” comments. “Blue again Deket same Rena. Imagine, a Rena loh. He's the school artist he calls it. Yes you even want a rival with Rena,” Bima chuckled in response to that.

“What the hell.”

“Cowok that if there is already a much more top yes the old will not be glimpsed. I've moved on, throw away the photos are not important,” he exclaimed.

I was quite offended by his words. “Oh so guys like you are looking physical huh? I know Rena is top. Yes tau,” my words.

Bima looked at me. “Kok offended? I'm just giving you advice.”

My eyes are already glazed. Actually I did not cry because I was offended, but because I knew that what Bima said was completely the right thing. I was just struck by the facts.
