News from Micah

"It's been a long time that we haven't met." Micah's friendly smile came with his words that Rianti had not responded to.

"Darling, are you home?"

Not even Rianti responded to questions from Micah, now he was again surprised by the voice of the man he missed for a week. To his surprise, Nathan came along with Micah, and the man even came with Micah's bag and some groceries.

Nathan's shock was clearly visible on his face, he did not expect that Rianti would be home ahead of schedule.

In contrast to Nathan who was shocked because his first wife was already at home while he came home with his second wife, Rianti's face immediately changed suddenly.

Her surprise came home quickly without telling her husband turned around, now she was surprised. The man who had been with him for a month and promised to finish his business about his second marriage was now seen closer to the honeymoon.

"Please enter" Rianti immediately regained consciousness when she heard Nathan greeting her again, but she immediately cut in before her husband continued speaking.

"Thank you" Micah smiled kindly, then sauntered into the house where the door was wide open.

"Darling..." Nathan is approaching Rianti,

"I have returned Mas, Alhamdulillah congratulations, please enter" said Rianti who without waiting for Nathan's answer immediately returned to the house.

"It's good that Mbak has come, there are things I want to say" Micah grabbed the drink glass that Rianti just served in front of the table, Rianti looked up.

"Micha..." Nathan seemed to code Micah not to talk he knew what his second wife was going to say.

"Honey, I want to talk" Nathan grabbed Rianti's hand and immediately led her to their room,

"I'm sorry, I didn't know you were home." Nathan sits on the edge of the bed facing Rianti, who has been a sad face since he found himself back home with Micah.

"Why not say? I can pick you up." Nathan continued, Rianti still looked at him with a sad look, there was no sign that his wife would make a sound.

"Huffa..." Nathan exhaled slowly, knowing that Rianti must be disappointed at this moment.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you by going home with Micah" Nathan said,

"So all this time what I mean will soon finish your business like this?" rianti asked in a soft voice,

"I'm sorry baby, but mom..."

"Mama can't possibly let you let go of her favorite daughter-in-law right?" cut Rianti, Nathan also ducked he was not able to answer even if only by nodding his head.

"I understand Mas" Rianti got up from his seat,

"Now please enjoy your time together, it seems you have planned everything for today's event" Rianti stepped towards the door to leave Nathan still sitting on the side of the bed.

"Darling.." Rianti was about to open the door to his room, but stopped because Nathan suddenly hugged him from behind.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry... Papa's company is in crisis and if it wasn't for Micah's help, it probably wouldn't have survived" Nathan said in a hoarse voice as he held back tears, he finally told me the real reason why he still survives with Micah to this day.

Silence was created, no words were spoken anymore from the two. Rianti closed her eyes hearing the reason her husband had given her. There was a wound that returned gaping, a sense of self-worth was back the greater he felt.

"Alhamdulillah then, may everything return alright." finally that sentence came out of Rianti's mouth after a long time both of them fell silent.

Rianti cannot be selfish, by thinking about his own feelings. While her husband's parents are currently in need of the help of their only child, maintaining her husband's marriage to Micah is the right solution for her company-in-law to survive.

"Darling..."

"Here you go, I understand. Now you better be with Micah, he's been waiting too long." Rianti took off her husband's two arms which were on his waist.

"Sir, I want to talk" Micah was already standing at the door,

"Come!" rianti said as he passed past Rianti who was still standing at the door, while Nathan he immediately blocked Micah's hand which was about to move.

"What the hell is Brother?" Micah was sulking because Nathan's hand in his hand was quite hard.

"Don't tell him that right now, it's not the right time." Nathan said firmly and looked at Micah with a sharp look.

"Keep when else? When do you want to hide it? Anyway I'll say it now let him know that I'm gonna need you more than he does. Mom is coming soon too.."

Not long after the roar of the car was heard stopping in the courtyard of Rianti's house.

"Why did Mom come here? You called him?" nathan asked still with a gaze that had not softened.

"Yes" answered Micah ketus, he threw out Nathan's hand which was still blocking him even though it was not as tight as before.

"Mommy...?" Rianti was again surprised because it turned out that in front of him now stood two middle-aged who knew that it was a mother-in-law with her father-in-law, who was his father-in-law,

"We're coming, can we come in?" Mama Nathan spoke softly, while her papa was still staring at Rianti with a peeking look.

"This is Nathan's father" Her mother-in-law finally introduced her father-in-law, Rianti immediately greeted both of them and kissed the back of her parents-in-law's hands full of reverence.

"Please enter Ma, Pa" Liani stammered as she called the call to her parents-in-law.

"Sorry that our arrival is disturbing" finally papa Nathan let out his voice, from his tone Rianti relieved that Papa Nathan is not as cute as imagined.

"Ti.no Pa, I'm happy that papa and mama would like to visit" said Rianti politely, he also allowed his two in-laws to enter.

"Mama, papa?" now it was Nathan's turn to be surprised because of the sudden presence of his parents, he also greeted the two and sat facing each other.

"Please drink and taste" Rianti's pinta after serving two drinks and a plate of fruit pudding that he made.

"It's your making?" papa Nathan looks tempted with a serving of fruit pudding that looks fresh with a variety of fruits.

"Yes Pa" replied Rianti slowly,

"Ma, papa would try to get it" papa told mama Nathan and immediately executed by mama Nathan.

" Eeummh..fresh, sweet is also fitting" with eyes closed papa Nathan commented on the pudding is still in his mouth and then back scooping the pudding.

"Alhamdulillah if papa likes" said Rianti with a happy smile,

"Emang as good as that Pa?" seeing the expression on her husband's face, Nathan's mother was tempted to try.

"Eumh's delicious, sure you made it?" nathan's mother who judged if the pudding he was eating was delicious.

Rianti only replied with a nod of his head and a smile, he knew his mother-in-law had admitted that the pudding was delicious.

Seeing that his mom and dad seemed to like Rianti's pudding, Nathan smiled happily. While Micah looked his face a little grim.

"Mama, Papa, I'm glad you guys could come here. I'm also happy that Rianti's gone home, so I can say it sooner. There is happy news that I want to tell you" Micah interrupted their conversation and managed to get everyone's attention now on him.

"Micha..." Nathan tries to prevent Micah's intentions but he gets a bitter look from his second wife.

"I'm pregnant" without delay, Micah immediately said the happy news.
