My Beloved Bodyguard's

My Beloved Bodyguard's
THE MBB 49

“It can already go to school?” Bayu filled the fried rice onto his plate while holding Lana.

Stared with bandages still stuck to his daughter's forehead. The pain may have gone, evidently the fussiness of his little girl had disappeared all day yesterday according to info from Mbok Sari.

“Mau check, Pa.” Lana voiced with a special spoiled tone.

“Tomorrow only, yes. Today rest a day first at home.” Bayu fed Lana who had taken a bath that morning and changed into clean clothes. Mbok Sari prepared the child, replacing Shanuella who chose to make breakfast for the entire house.

“Listen to Papa, tomorrow only new school.” Mbok Sari had just emerged from the back of the house carrying a broom and a duster over her shoulder. “I've persuaded him, Bay. But, your daughter is just as stubborn as you.” The old woman chuckled.

Lana pouting. Although he could not digest many words, he understood that this time was a matter of conversation. Seen how the smiling Bayu stared at him while thrusting a spoon filled with fried rice.

“Eat a lot so that it heals quickly. This is Mama's special cooking for you, darling.” Bayu again stirred up the dishes containing fried rice, filled in the spoon, and fed his daughter. Continues to repeat until the contents of the plate switch in Lana's stomach which looks bulging fullness.

Just as the breakfast was over, there were footsteps with the sound of regular high heels. Shanuella looks beautiful with a shirt and a knee-length sponge skirt in green tosca.

“Mama tantik.” Lana commented. Jump down from the lap of Bayu and run hugging his mother's legs. The little girl's head looked up.

At a time like this, Shanuella's heart was pierced in pain. The little girl who started from her past sins has grown into a smart and adorable child. For a moment, his sane mind appeared. If she had aborted the womb five years ago, the apparition of the little girl before her would never have existed. Regret is present, given his bad intentions first. If this were to happen, he would have deprived innocent humans of their right to breathe.

“Mama wants to go to office, yes.” A gentle swipe at the top of the head, Shanuella hoped her son understood.

Lana pouting.

That adorable toddler shook her head. Cone lips.

“Mama must work. Find money to buy toys, school books, em ... what else, yes?”

Bayu who was still sitting in his place seemed to turn around and pay attention to his wife and son who were negotiating. As the head of the family, he was often the mediator for both. Mengulum smiled, the adult man who was always calm was listening from a distance. Before long, he joined in and offered the best solution for all.

“Honey, Mama it must work. Can't skip, unless sick. Just like Lana too, can't skip school.” Bayu's steps came to a halt in front of his son and wife. Choosing to crouch down in front of Lana, she tried to give some understanding. “How about Nyana come between Mama?” tawar Bayu and made Lana nod in agreement.

It was so easy for him to persuade Lana.

Shanuella looked at Bayu unblinkingly. Suddenly, Mbok Sari's words flashed back. He did not think before, assuming those words were wind then. But at this moment everything is turning back.

Is it really time for me to open my heart to Mas Bayu? When will our relationship be like this. Time passes, and Mas Bayu gets older. I will not be young forever. And what about Lana? Forever, in my daughter's heart there's only Mas Bayu, not Blade.
