. “What happened to Mas Bayu?” A question that no one knew was addressed to whom, Shanuella muttered to herself in silence. Suddenly, bad thoughts swirled. The fret that had been ignored had suddenly appeared again.

“Did I call Rarendra, huh? Mas Bayu works with him. Of course he knows where my husband is.”

Meeting a dead end, Shanuella finally ventured to contact the man who had made her shaken all afternoon. A sense of arrogance was thrown away. She was like a mother looking for the presence of a missing child.

Tones splashed sputtering, the cold of the night made nervous. Shanuella pecked at the lips of the terrace, staring at the quiet street with lips pursed. Before long, the male voice greeted kindly.

“Yes, Shan. What's up?”

“Pak, has Mas Bayu gone home?”

Shanuella had to fight hard to be able to act ordinary, unrelenting mixed feelings when she heard the baritone voice from the end of the call.

“Bayu ..”.

Silent. There was doubt in Rarendra's tone. Like a stifled reluctance, it's hard to tell what really happened.

“What's up, sir? Did something happen to Mas Bayu?” Shanuella was impatient, asking the same question.

“Sorry, Shan. Bayu had an accident. Now being treated ...”

“MAS!” Shanuella. The body freezes, the legs are riveted, and the mind is dead-end. It took a few minutes for him to realize the situation. In fact, the breath stopped for a while.

The world was crumbling, his mind was filled with Bayu's shadow.

“What ... is he okay?” Shanuella shed tears. All these years of living together, the shadow of separation and loss terrified the woman.

“Where is Mas Bayu?” Shanuella struggled to remain calm and unmoved by uncertain conjectures.

Rarendra. The anxiety Shanuella showed made her sick.

“Where is Mas Bayu? I want to meet Mas Bayu.” Shanuella's voice shrieked and sounded sore.

“She's fine, no need to cry.” Rarendra finally gave up and chose to give up. “I'll send my men to pick you up. Tell me your address.”

Shanuella. “I can go alone. Send me the address where Mas Bayu is treated? I beg.”

The crying became more real, Shanuella half forced. She could not calm down before seeing for herself the condition of her husband. Pinta that was said repeatedly with the circle of tears was finally ravaging the heart.

...🍒🍒🍒...

Rarendra softened and shared the information after not until the heart heard Shanuella's sobs. Lately he has become weak and easily overwhelmed. Things that have been taboo, especially if it involves women in it.

His heart has long been frozen since the loss of the woman he loves. However, the hardness of heart he had sustained for so many years was tarnished. He fell in love again without realizing it. Worse, that feeling is anchored in the woman who should be hated.

Deciding to allow Shanuella to meet Bayu, she did not expect her actions to be even more jealous. Spotlight locked eyes at the same point, he growled in silence when he found the woman who filled his heart and mind was holding Bayu's hand.

Oh my God, why is this?

Rarendra looked sadly at the gurney. The tightness made him unable to breathe. Especially when she found Shanuella was lamenting and crying for another man.

“Mas, wake. Don't be like this. Me ... I .. how can I live without you?” Shanuella sat on the side of the bed, her fingers slipping between Bayu's long fingers. The woman's gaze did not move at all. In fact, the look in the eyes kept locked at the same point.
