When the sun is directly overhead. Evan woke up from sleep. He held his head still throbbing from the effects of the alcohol he drank last night. The man went straight out of the room without cleaning himself first.
"Where is the lady, Grandma" asked Evan when he met Grandma Rieta.
Grandma did not answer. The old woman continued to step up as if Evan wasn't there. Looking at the attitude of the grandmother, there was no suspicion in her heart if Anggita was gone. Evan continued to step his feet towards the dining room. When he arrived at the dining room, Evan headed straight for the refrigerator. He opened the freezer and took out cold water. Sipping the cold water then took some kiwi fruit.
Evan took the kiwi fruit to the sofa. He enjoyed the kiwi fruit casually like there was no burden at all. He should be in the office right now. But the man was like there was no desire at all to go out of the house today. It can be seen in the way he enjoys kiwi fruit with his legs straightened and resting on the table.
Evan felt his stomach full just eating some kiwi fruit. He patted his stomach slowly. Evan's behavior this morning seems to have no mind burden.
"Auntie, please call the woman here" Evan told the waiter who was passing by him. He wanted to talk about something to Anggita.
"Woman who's master?"
"Prince."
"Sorry sir, Miss Anggita left this house this morning" the maid replied, looking down.
"Go?.
"Yes sir."
"Continue your work" said Evan coldly. He did not go into the bathroom after waking up because he thought Anggita was in the bathroom. It turns out that woman has left. Drunk, Evan doesn't know if Anggita didn't sleep with him last night.
Shortly thereafter. Evan realized if Anggita is still in the process of recovery. It shouldn't be good for that woman to get out of the house. The woman should have rested now. But why did he leave the house?.
The question crossed his mind. Don't want to bother thinking about it. Evan did not think about it anymore. He really thinks that Anggita may be bored at home and Anggita could go to a cafe.
The man again enjoyed the kiwi fruit which still left one more fruit casually. After feeling quite full. Evan leaves the house without saying goodbye to Grandma Rieta or Martin's grandfather.
Evan greeted Adelia with a sweet smile at home. Although the wound has not healed completely. Adelia followed Evan's steps towards the top floor.
Adelia sets her foot in Evan's room, but the man forbids Adelia from entering.
"Don't go in Adelia. I want to be alone" said Evan politely forbidding, then closed the door. The man laid his body back on the bed. Instantly the shadow of his conversation with Anggita appeared in his head. Samar Samar he remembered the conversation. But the more Evan tried to remember, the more clearly he remembered word for word coming out of his mouth and Angita.
Evan then smiled cynically. He thought if the word that came out of Anggita's mouth was just a joke. Where could the woman have gone while Grandpa Martin was still alive. Wasn't he just expecting a legacy from Grandpa Martin. Evan is very sure if Anggita refuses to divorce because of property. He thought that Anggita would try to use the rest of his grandfather's life to enrich himself.
"The women's base is useless" Evan said slowly. Remembering Anggita, Evan also remembers his prospective son who knew himself out prematurely due to the actions of Angitita himself. At once the hatred for his wife was piling up.
When the miscarriage was clearly heard in her ears. It was obvious that Evan was very disappointed. Disappointment turns to anger. That's why Evan vents that anger by befriending alcohol. He no longer wants to see Anggita. She's fed up. He promised inwardly that he would never go to Martin's grandfather's house again if Nothing mattered.
Evan kept his promise. For one week, Evan has been able to focus on working at his company. A job that was abandoned a few days ago made Evan sometimes come home almost late at night.
Like tonight, the man arrived home after the clockwork showed the number ten. Usually he was greeted by Adelia with many questions during this one week lonely house like uninhabited. Even though Adelia was in that house. The woman slept fast every night.
But not tonight. Evan's return tonight has been awaited by someone. Not Adelia let alone Anggita. The man was now being waited on by Aunt Ani with a letter in her hand.
"Master," called Aunt Ani when Evan just smiled and passed by her. Evan stopped and turned around.
"What's bi. No need to open a door like this for me. Next Time. Aunt just take a break. I'll call Auntie if there's any need" said Evan, who suspects that Aunt Ani is waiting for him.
"Sorry sir, I just want to give you this. It says here important" Aunt Ani said as she showed the top side of the long envelope.
"What's this?" evan asked puzzledly as he extended his hand to grab the envelope.
"I say goodbye, sir" said Aunt Ani. Ani's aunt left Evan in the living room.
Evan opened the letter without reading the small print in the envelope.
Evan was shocked as he squeezed the Letter firmly. The letter he just read was a summons for his divorce trial with Anggita. In the Letter Anggita as a plaintiff scheduled tomorrow afternoon. He never registered the lawsuit. It means Anggita is the one who registered. That's what Evan thought.
Evan walked quickly to his room. Arriving in the room he opened the cloth cabinet belonging to Anggita all this time. Again Evan was surprised to see that shelf after shelf in the closet was empty.
Evan took the phone out of his pants pocket. He's looking for a contact named si oon on his phone.
"Basic labil woman," maki Evan. She said Anggita was unstable because Evan felt that she was not consistent with divorce after Grandpa Martin's death. Several times Evan tried to contact Anggita but only the operator answered the call and unfortunately the operator informed if Anggita out of reach.
Evan repeatedly contacted Anggita. He wanted to ask about the divorce. He was also upset that Anggita did not ask him first before registering the lawsuit.
"Auntie, Aunt Ani. Come here, "call Evan from his room like a man of doom.
"Auntie, when did the woman come to this house and take all her clothes?" evan asked after Aunt Ani was in front of him.
"One week ago sir."
Evan links information from Aunt Ani and Anggita's return from the hospital. The distance that Anggita came home from the hospital and his arrival to this house so quickly made Evan feel worried about the health of his wife.
