Because I Don't Want to Lose
40 - Possessive

Izzar called to tell her that he could not fulfill the promise to take Anaya to Randi's warehouse because the work was not finished. Although a little annoyed, Anaya could not force it. Anyway, today is a work day. It is time for people to work. One thing he regrets is that he didn't bring his own car because he thought Izzar would pick him up and Naira.

So, be he and Naira ride an online taxi because, if you go home first, it means the journey becomes longer because you have to retreat first.

Arriving at the warehousing complex in the northern area of Jakarta, Anaya still had to wait for Randi who had not arrived. Fifteen years later, his cousin showed up.

"A really long time?" anaya protest.

"Come! You are a bad one!" Randi won't lose.

Anaya scowling.

"Where's Izzar?" asked Randi while pulling the key out of his pocket.

"Take care of him..."

"A lot of busy now? It's hard to find." Randi opened his warehouse rolling door.

Anaya did not answer. He was amazed to see in the warehouse that almost all of the contents were his furniture.

"This is mine?"

"Yes" answered Randi. He took Naira to prevent the boy from exploring a crowded room with cabinets, sideboards, and heavy teak chairs, electronics, and boxes containing kitchen utensils, paintings and others.

Anaya held the end of the seat back of the carved guest chair whose seat was already thinning.

"You want to move everything to your house?" ask Randi.

Anaya hesitated. All mebeulair are relics of his parents, and some are even from his grandparents. The wooden frame is still all intact, but the paint plitur has thinned and dull. The wrapping material of the seat seat is also a lot that has faded. As he recalled before being moved, the whole thing still looked fine. It may be because it is not treated and cleaned for months, so it all looks old and sad.

"I doubt it, Ran... If it's electronics, kitchen supplies, it seems like there's still a lot I need. But, if the closet, desk chair and bed it is not worth it..." Anaya.

"Actually this is all still good. Stay repaired, re-plitur, change seats. But, your house has been overhauled into a modern minimalist model, not matching also with vintage items like this," said Randi.

"Eat him."  Anaya breathed her.

"Would you just take this off?" Randi offers.

"meaning?"

"Give all the mebeulair to me, I'll fix it and sell it again. There must be people looking for antiques like this."

Anaya thought.

"Relax, I don't make a lot of profit!" sergeant Randi.

Anaya laughs. Randi's cousin is indeed an entrepreneur of all there is. Anything can be done to get profit.

"Whatever you are!" Anaya.

"Is there anything you want to keep? For memories?" ask Randi.

Anaya's eyes searched for something she liked. But, he is not the type of person who is too romantic towards objects by storing something that has been obsolete and does not need it anymore. After all, he already has his own desires and shadows about the interior objects of his house later.

"Look at this, if I have fixed everything, you will see first. If something draws your heart, you can take it," said Randi.

That's a good idea. Anaya agreed. Next, he marked electronic items and kitchen equipment that will still be used. And other things too.

Anaya did his sorting until late afternoon. Naira is bored and hungry until taken away first by Randi out of the warehousing area to eat.

Finished sorting out, Anaya felt tired as well. He looked at the scattered sheets of the post it stuck in all the goods that will return to his house. Randi's getting the transport car ready for tomorrow morning.

Randi takes Anaya and Naira home. The afternoon road was jammed, making it new to arrive home at dusk.

After finishing cleaning up and asking Mba Kemi to accompany Naira to play, Anaya approached Izzar who had returned home before him. The man was sitting pensively on his sofabed with a cell phone in his hand.

"Hey!" Anaya greeted and immediately sat leaning against her body next to Izzar.

"Hey!" Izzar. "Have you finished picking the stuff?"

"It has. Just haul it in tomorrow. Not all the taps. Many were left behind as closets, beds and chairs. It's up to Randi to be flanked. But do not want, must immediately buy a new one," replied Anaya.

Izzar silently did not respond. Anaya realizes something is unusual.

"Why you?" Anaya lifted her body and looked at Izzar sharply.

"Hmmm.. It's nothing."

"Is there a problem?" ask Anaya.

"Neverything." Izzar replied.

"What's wrong?" Anaya began to suspect.

Izzar took a deep breath. Anaya is waiting for an answer. However, Izzar looked at Anaya instead.

"Izzar?" Anaya was impatient.

"What are you Sasika?" ask Izzar.

Anaya. Why did the name of the woman reappear among them and provoke her emotions.

"Sandra said, apparently, your ex is like a kitten. Weepy! Ngadu dealer! Last morning with the tantenya, continue now with you?" Anaya turned fierce.

Izzar just looked at Anaya without a word. He let Anaya retell what Sandra told him until his emotions were completely swept away.

"So, what did he say to you?" Anaya looked at Izzar fiercely.

"Ne nothing." Izzar replied casually.

"Byeah! Then why are you asking her to be flanked by us?" Anaya doesn't think.

"So Miss Erlina called me. She couldn't accept Sandra scolding her niece, and it was as if you were underestimating her. He's also angry that you don't think of him as an important client anymore. He accused you of changing your attitude because of me. Because you're jealous of his nephew." Izzar laughed at the end of his sentence.

Anaya quiet.

"Mr Erlina to ask me, are you really on leave and we want to move house. He suspects that's why you're avoiding his nephew."

Izzar's hand grabbed Anaya's head leaning on her shoulder.

"So, it wasn't Sasika who complained. But the tantenya complained. I got the sap, too, got scolded for nothing."

Anaya closed her eyes. He is very lazy to connect with people like Ms. Erlina and Sasika. He thought, the relationship with both of them is over, but apparently not yet.

"You guys have to be careful. Ms. Erlina, if you are disappointed or dislike someone, can be very cruel. He was satisfied when the man fell, falling... Like me." For example."

Anaya opened her eyes. There was a growing worry in his heart.

"Keep, what should I do?"

Izzar was confused as to how to answer. He even remembered the words of Mr. Arsyad first, who would finish Sasika if he disturbed Anaya.

In his heart he prayed, may the old man not know this question. Could a power war break out later, between Mr. Arsyad and Ms. Erlina.

"Zar, why did you like Sasika?"

Izzar was silent for a moment before replying, "he was good."

"Keep, why do you like me now?"

"Hm...Because it's already stuck anyway like, suddenly forced marriage."

Anaya's hand spontaneously pinched Izzar's arm. Makes him grimace in pain.

"The answer is!" Anaya pouting.

Izzar smile. He was confused as to what. All he knew, he felt comfortable and complete near Anaya.

"Mama!"

Naira suddenly appeared at the door.

"Yes?" Anaya.

"Don't come near my girlfriend!" angry shouting.

Anaya who tried to survive hugging Izzar inevitably relented when the little boy's hand was insistent on pulling him away from the idol men they both had.

Izzar kissed Anaya's forehead before releasing her. Naira who saw him screamed out of protest did not accept.

Anaya laughs leaving Izzar who has to persuade soften Naira's anger. Possessive of the child.
