Because I Don't Want to Lose

Because I Don't Want to Lose
43 - Worried

Anaya's sleepiness evaporated. He went through the night with open eyes and a branched mind. He fretted about why he who ran left Izzar? Although the experience was only a dream, his heart was constantly wondering what it meant.

Anaya's eyes were just pinching towards dawn. Her sleep is really good. He was just awakened by Naira's kiss that bailed to leave school and Izzar who was about to leave for work.

"Why did I just wake up?" anaya's protest on Izzar.

"The sleep is like a fainting person." Naira answered.

"really?" Anaya did not believe.

Izzar nodded. Anaya rubbed her eyes. He tried to lift his body. However, the pain in the head held him back. He closed his eyes back. "I'm so dizzy."

"Today you rest. Don't clean up the house there first." Izzar thought Anaya was tired because of this.

Anaya denied. But, undo. Let Izzar think so. He refused to tell her about a dream that kept him awake long . Because, this man must have only considered her a sleeping flower.

"Who's Naira?"

"I... Come home to be picked up by Mba Kemi later." Izzar stroked Anaya's head. He wanted to kiss her on the forehead, but Naira could make a fuss later.

Anaya nodded.

"Would I get you some medicine?" Izzar asked softly.

"Neither do it."

With a smile, Anaya let the two go. His eyes closed again and shortly thereafter, he fell asleep. Feeling tired due to lack of sleep last night, paid off completely.

He had just woken up when the sun was almost halfway through his day trip. Naira had returned home and was waiting for Mba Kemi to prepare lunch.

The pain in Anaya's head has reduced. He immediately lifted his blanket up from his bed. His stomach was hungry, but he felt uncomfortable with his body. After the bath, Anaya felt refreshed again. He sat on the couch checking his phone.

From a number of notifications, several missed calls and messages from Sandra caught his eye the most. His friend questioned his existence. His last message told him he was on the road to Anaya's house. And, just Anaya will answer it, Sandra's car has arrived in front of the house.

"Hurry up, San! I just want to answer your message."

"I sent a message an hour ago" said Sandra a little annoyed. He put all his luggage on the dining table. He brought me an ice cappucino, and a big bag of fried chicken, burgers and fries. Naira shouted happily, and immediately forgot the carrot soup that Mba Kemi was preparing.

"I called you many times and I didn't answer. I asked Izzar, said you were sick?" ask Sandra.

"Just a headache. Lack of sleep last night" replied Anaya. He took two pieces of chicken and a serving of potatoes, and took Sandra to Izzar's study, the only quiet and somewhat soundproof place in the house.

"Why can't you sleep?" ask Sandra.

Anaya who was chewing on a bar of fries paused replied. After swallowing her toilet, she recounted her dream.

"Huh! The bed you think. It doesn't matter!" Sandra thought the story of Anay was trivial

"What about Ridwan and Sasika yesterday?" Anaya recalls Sandra meeting her ex.

"Ngga's exciting too, anyway. They seem to know that there was me and the kids there. When I came back, they were in a hurry to leave."

"Yeahhh..." Anaya showed her disappointment. "I'm really surprised they're together."

"All I know is that Ridwan's wife left him. But, it is also strange if he continues to be now close to Sasika. Like all of you celebrity stories. Ex-conviction with ex." Sandra laughs.

Anaya grimacing. Laughs lyrically. It is too coincidental if this is the story of their lives.

"I'm no longer close to the lawyer Mr. Arsyad. Malesin. Long possessive and restrain me. I'm not serious about him, just messing around. Having fun's. She talked recently about marriage. Sebel me!" Sandra shudders.

"All your men are malesin, anyway. There's nothing real... Remember, your father has grandchildren!" Anaya smiled reminding.

Sandra shakes. "I'm happy enough to live on my own like this. Wherever free. Nobody forbid this."

Anaya bit the tip of her fried chicken. He is different from Sandra who is really brave and strong living alone. On the contrary, he really needs a companion who directs him. Although, after parting with Ridwan he had closed his heart.

"You happy now, Nay?" Sandra looked at Anaya's face. Ever since admitting she had allowed Izzar to have her heart, Anaya seemed to change in her eyes. This friend is calmer, calmer, and easily smiles.

Anaya nodded.

"Thank God. I'll take the seneng if you're happy."  Sandra sipped her drink.

Both were silent for a moment. Sandra concentrated on the newly-entered messages on her phone.

"San!" Anaya called out Sandra's name, asking for her attention.

"Yes?" Sandra replied with her eyes still focused on her phone.

"When I quit my job, what?" ask Anaya slowly. He wanted to discuss the issue he discussed with Izzar yesterday.

Sandra raised her head. He did not expect Anaya to have such a wish.

"Why? Izzar forbid you to work?"

"Neither, heck!" Anaya leaned her body against the chair.

"Continue?" Sandra looked at Anaya.

"I'm happy to relax again." Anaya smiled. He felt he was speaking wrong.

Sandra looked at Anaya's bowed face. He could see the worry that was emanating.

"You want to let go of the business we started together, Nay?" sandra's voice is shrill.

Anaya. "I don't know, San. Suddenly the thought of not working a routine crossed. Maybe because I really enjoy this holiday atmosphere. Later, when it was late at home, I was afraid of getting bored as well. I just keep missing work again."

Sandra. He was used to working with Anaya. They are a great team because they complement each other. If Anaya decides to come out, then what about her? Can he run a company without a partner who understands him?

Indeed, Sandra was aware and could not avoid, there was a difference in the principle of life between the two of them. Since knowing Anaya, Sandra knows that Anaya has family-oriented properties. But he is just the opposite. He doesn't like to be tied up. Even if he had to get married later, he would choose a childfree marriage. He really doesn't like commitment. To be honest, she doesn't like the hassle of having children.

"If you can choose, I don't want to leave you, Nay! I want us to continue to grow our business together. But, I realize I have no right to forbid your wishes. Most importantly, your choices make you happy.

Anaya listened and absorbed Anaya's words. It all depends on the choice.

"But I just want to remind you. Whether you like it or not. I understand that many husbands want their wives not to work for any reason. I don't know the reason Izzar.

"But you have to learn from your experience with Ridwan. We don't know what's going to happen in the future. Even if I'm sure Izzar is different from your ex-husband, I want you to keep your own income. I want you to stay financially independent." Sandra expressed her concerns.

Anaya. Sandra has a point. We don't know what tomorrow will be.

Then, his dream last night came back to the shadows. He hugged his soul again.
