Devan opened the car door and sat Kanaya in the front passenger seat before she sat in the driver's seat.

"Where are we going, Van? Far out of place?" kanaya asked while looking at the streets around her. It must be admitted that the city of A is much more cultured than the city of D, its birthplace.

"No, deket. You'll love the place" Devan replied.

"Oh yeah? Do you know where you're from?" kanaya asked with a laugh.

"My pretty rabbit, what do I not know about you?" devan asked with a grin.

Kanaya laughs.

"Holy Devaaannn! How many centuries have you not called me that?" kanaya asked with a chuckle hearing Devan call her 'My beautiful rabbit'.

"Because you fit that name, you are so beautiful and strong" Devan said with a smile.

Kanaya stopped and looked at Devan.

"Thank you, Van. But I'm not that strong" said Kanaya.

"Trust me, Ay. You are stronger than what you thought," Devan said as he stared fixedly at Kanaya's bead, before he refocused himself on the street in front of him.

Kanaya rested her back on the back of the chair until Devan marked her vehicle in a restaurant on the edge of the park

"Come on Ay, we've arrived" Devan said as he exited his car.

Kanaya also went out and walked with Devan through the path to the restaurant building that looks not too big. However, once they entered it, the inside of the building, widened and looked a very large garden inside with tables and wooden chairs on a stretch of grass.

Devan held Kanaya's hand as she spoke to the waitress of the restaurant, who then showed them a table in the garden not far from a small pond.

Along their way to the table, Kanaya's eyes swept towards the surrounding garden.

Devan was right, he did like the place.

They sat in their seats and Devan ordered for them both the food and drink that was there while Kanaya looked at Devan without blinking. Kanaya thought, if anyone in this world understands her well other than her parents, she is Devan Permana. The men he knew well since they were still wearing blue and white uniforms. The man who always said good morning to him earlier than anyone in his house, either by phone or yelled from the window of his room which was just across from the window of Kanaya's room. Kanaya feels very lucky to get to know Devan close, although their life path is different, Kanaya with her current life, and Devan with her relationship with Melisa.

"Auuu!" Kanaya screamed when she suddenly squeezed her nose and Devan laughed.

"I'm handsome Kanaya, but I didn't see her. Tuh, you make the mother laugh amusedly," said Devan while pointing at the maidservant Maid at the restaurant, was laughing while covering his mouth because amused.

Kanaya's face reddened in embarrassment, Devan caught her staring at him.

"Udah Mbak, that's the order," Devan said while shaking his head.

"But I haven't ordered it yet, Van." said Kanaya to call the maidservant's mother back.

"I ordered it, Ay. After I call you silent," Devan said, holding his smile.

"Yes, Van. Sorry." replied Kanaya and Devan just smiling.

"We walk - yuk road, Ay." take Devan while pointing to see the park around them.

Kanaya and Devan walk on the path that surrounds the park in the restaurant.The restaurant is indeed suitable for family gatherings. Many visitors brought their parents and children with them.

Suddenly a boy less than 2.5 years old ran and hit Kanaya.

"Ohhh!" Peeking Kanaya in shock. However, he immediately crouched down to help the little boy who was babbling was unclear. The mother of the child also said goodbye, and went to bring her child.

"It's funny that kid" Kanaya said with a smile.

"He knows exactly where to hit" Devan said as he made an expression of thoughtful people.

"You mean?" kanaya asked back.

"Yes, just a child already knows, which is beautiful," said Devan.

"Devannn, you are" Kanaya said, pinching Devan's arm, until Devan pretended to complain and laugh.

Devan embraces Kanaya and walks back to their table.

At the table, their food and drink orders had arrived and they both immediately enjoyed it.

"I want to see the pool, Van." said Kanaya after they finished eating their snacks and drinks.

Kanaya also walked towards the pool not far from them. Devan followed him.

They walked to the wooden deck on the edge of the pond while looking at the koi fish swimming towards them.

"Cakep - saucy Van, the fish." said Kanaya crouched down and put his hand into the pond and touched the fish - tame fish.

"Soft," Kanaya commented as her fingers touched the fish's back in the pond. He also sat by the pool watching the fish - the fish clustered together to show himself.

Devan sat down while bending his knees next to Kanaya. His white shirt was rolled up to the arm and put his hand into the pool.

"We can keep koi fish if you want, Ay. Later, I make a pond at the back of the house" Devan said as his hand stroked the white koi fish with a red circle on his forehead.

Kanaya is stunned and her heart touched by Devan's words, though she doesn't know how to react.

"Devan.." said Kanaya lirih.

"Why Ay?" devan asked as he looked towards Kanaya.

"I. you shouldn't talk about it" Kanaya said, taking a deep breath.

Devan changed his seat to face Kanaya.

'Time to tell you this, Ay. I don't want to lose you again.' Devan's inner.

"Why can't I talk like that?" devan asked as he raised Kanaya's face with his finger until their eyes were fixed on each other.

"Because I know..that's impossible, Van?" answer Kanaya.

"I.., I can't stay in your house forever, you have Melisa and....."

"Me and Melisa have nothing to do anymore" Devan said.

Kanaya was surprised 'What?! They broke up?' inner Kanaya.

"Our relationship is over" Devan said again.

"Is it because I live with you? That's why Melisa got angry and left you?" kanaya asked while feeling unwell.

Devan shakes.

"Melisa and I'm not walking because of me" Devan said, looking back at the fish that enthusiastically approached them.

"I shouldn't have started that relationship, and forced things on," Devan said.

"Why?" ask Kanaya who still does not understand what really happened.

"Because I'm in love with someone else," Devan replied as he lifted his face and looked at Kanaya.

Why..why is Devan looking at me like that... Devan...? Kanaya's mind was glaring.
