Elvano's Regret

Kanaya's medical examination results were not immediately received that day, it took up to several days until all the results of the examination were completed.

Devan drove his car home with Kanaya and Bella.Kanaya seemed to fall asleep in the passenger seat next to him due to fatigue after medical check-ups and filling files all day, bella is seen sleeping in the back seat.

When she reached the front page of her house, Devan's mobile phone shook, and she saw Melisa calling her. Devan forgets he hasn't contacted Melisa since yesterday and informs her that he has arrived in town B.

"Hello, Melisa?" greet Devan in a quiet voice. It did not wake Kanaya who was asleep next to him.

"Devan, how are you? Why didn't you ever call me?" asked Melisa in an annoyed tone.

"Sorry, Mel. I was too busy taking care of Kanaya's case, so I forgot to call you" Devan said.

Melisa sighs at Devan's explanation.

'Kanaya again.. Kanaya again.' lamented in the heart.

"You're still in D? When did you come home? You don't want to go tomorrow?" asked Melisa in a sulking tone.

"I'm back Melisa. But I haven't been able to get to your place yet" Devan said, feeling increasingly guilty.

Kanaya who faintly heard the conversation Devan was awakened from his sleep.

"You've gone home, Devan? Oh my God why didn't you say? We can spend time together today! I miss you Devan!" Melisa said in surprise.

"Yes, Mel. I'm sorry I'm still busy with some cases" Devan replied.

"So how's Kanaya? Has she gone back to her husband?" ask Melisa.

Devan turned to Kanaya who pretended not to hear anything. He moved his phone to the right.

"Mel, it's late and I just got home. We'll talk again tomorrow, okay?" devan tried to cover up his conversation with Melisa.

"This devan is not 9pm yet!" Melisa half-cried.

"Yes, I know. Tomorrow I call ya," Devan said then disconnected his phone.

"Let's get out, Ay" Devan took with him as he tidied up his things and turned off his car engine.

Kanaya could hear faintly the conversation of Devan and Melisa, and she realized that the current Devan was no longer someone who only thought of her. He has other people he loves and at least he feels jealous of Devan and Melisa's relationship. But soon he threw away that feeling and tried to realize that there is someone else who is more important in Devan's life at this time and that person is not him.

"Devan, I'm really sorry to you. Because you take care of me, you don't have time with Melisa" Kanaya said. He tried hard when he said it. He did not dare to look at her directly.

"What the hell, Ay. How do you say it's rich?" devan asked astonished at Kanaya's attitude.

"You're no one else to me, and Melisa knows that. Don't worry about unnecessary things. You need to focus on what we're doing, okay?" devan said while holding Kanaya's shoulder.

"I'm just not good, same Melisa," Kanaya said.

"Don't think so, Ay. Melisa will understand" Devan said, then he got out of the car to open the door for Kanaya.

"Well, if you wake up later tonight, just call me." Devan said before Kanaya entered her room.

"Thank you, Van. I'm going to sleep with Bella tonight" Kanaya replied.

Kanaya accidentally invites Bella to sleep with her. Because he felt bad if he had to be with Devan when his status was still Elvano's wife. Devan also has a lover.

Even though they did nothing. But Kanaya realized, her relationship with Devan at this time could not be equated with their relationship in the past, something changed and she felt bad especially at Melisa.

"Anton, what's wrong? What exactly happened?" ask Luna to know.

Anton and Ardi looked at each other.

"You two go in!" Said Sean, Papa Elvano while pointing at Anton and Ardi.

Anton and Ardi follow Sean and sit opposite him. Luna sat down next to her husband.

"Tell me what really happened? Didn't you guys go to get Kanaya home? Where is Kanaya, and why is Elvano so upset?" asked Sean curiously.

"I'm sorry sir, I don't know if I have the right to tell you this or not" Anton said, reluctant to tell me what had happened.

"That's Anton! Don't twist - bevel! Just tell me what happened! Have you found Kanaya yet?" Sean asked forcefully.

"We know Kanaya's mother is in town B together with Mr. Devan Permana, and Mr. Devan has confirmed, if Ms. Kanaya is indeed there," said Ardi

"Why didn't he come home with Elvano?" asked Sean in surprise.

"Mother Kanaya did not want to see Mr Elvano, but asked her legal counsel to speak with Mr Elvano?" answer Anton.

"Legal counsel? Whatchu mean?" sean asked in surprise. Why does Kanaya have legal counsel? Think Sean.

"Because Kanaya's mother is going to demand divorce and Devan Permana is her legal advisor" Anton said.
