Devan drives his car, to the Permana Law Firm.
When he got there, everyone had gathered, the apparatus and also the people who watched and did not miss the news seekers.
The news seekers immediately swarmed the car Devan was driving. As he got out of the car, questions were asked by the reporters.
"Sir Devan, what is this, sir? Does this have anything to do with the case you're working on?"
"Sir Devan, you know who you think did it?"
"I'm sorry, I can't answer yet" Devan replied, breaking into a crowd of news-seekers who were greeted by Beni who helped him get away from reporters and they both walked into his office.
From outside the office only looks broken window glass. Will but inside the office is more damaged by the many broken glass scattered on the floor and workbench. Several police forensic officers are working there, collecting evidence that could be used to find the stone-throwing suspect into the office.
Although the perpetrator did not enter the office, it also injured Mr. Basri, the security officer on duty at the time.
"Good afternoon, Mr. Devan." said Captain Wira, while greeting Devan. Of course Devan knows the Police Captain well.
As a lawyer, he has known well the officers who served in the city.
"Good afternoon Captain, have you any leads on the culprit, sir?" devan asked as he looked around his office which was ravaged.
"We are still investigating Mr. Devan, if there is time, there are some things I want to ask, to the Father" said Captain Wira.
"Sure sir," Devan replied as he approached Mr. Basri who was getting treatment from medics.
"Sir Basri, are his injuries very serious?" devan asked as he leaned over and watched the wounds on Mr. Basri's body more closely.
"This is sir, the cuts are just blisters," replied Mr. Basri while pointing at the wounds on his hands and arms due to glass fragments.
"Pak Basri should have Father taken to the hospital to check this," said Devan, who pointed to the head of security who was wounded and bleeding. It may be due to being hit by a stone throw or exposed to glass debris.
"Pak please, let Mr. Basri be taken directly to the hospital, later let the office take care of the payment" Devan told medics who treated Mr. Basri.
After that Devan went to his room with Beni and also Captain Wira. In the room, Captain Wira asked Devan about the estimation of anyone who had evil intentions to him.
"I can't be sure who, sir. Because in my field, I deal with a wide variety of people who may be our opponents in legal cases. And that can be quite a lot, because the cases we deal with are already quite a lot. If you see a new case rolling and quite large, we are indeed working on a case of persecution that occurred at PT. DPA. But I dare not accuse, for once again, as Captain Wira saw, there is no evidence pointing towards our opponent, nor has there been any recognition or demand from him," devan answered honestly as is.
Because although his instincts are strong, this has something to do with the Randy Sanjaya case, but he does not have enough evidence.
"Okay, Mr. Devan, we've done an investigation in your office. If you have any additional evidence, don't be afraid to contact me or Detective Aditya" Captain Wira said, pointing to a man sitting with them.
"Of course Captain, Detective. I also hope to find the culprit soon and this case is not widened and prolonged" Devan said as he greeted Captain Wira and Detective Aditya, then set them out of his office.
"Arn, has there been anything suspicious in the past few days?" devan asked as they walked back to Devan's room.
"Well, I hope. Have you seen the CCTV footage ?" ask Devan.
"Yes sir, I had a chance to see it.But Detective Aditya has seized it as evidence," replied Beni.
"Are there any office items missing" asked Devan again.
"No Sir. Because according to Mr. Basri's confession, the perpetrators did not go inside and I have seen it from CCTV footage, if they just throw stones and then leave" said Beni.
"Do you think, as I think?" beni asked while looking at Devan.
"Obviously the perpetrator didn't want the stuff in this office, he just made a terror to scare us. And. yes, I think we both have a strong instinct for the culprit" Devan said, staring at Beni.
"Then what will you do?" ask Beni.
"Hallo?" greet Devan slowly.
"Retreat! Or worse things will happen!" There was the voice of a man Devan did not know.
"Hello? Who'sis this?" devan asked, but he got no answer and only the sound of tut...
"Who Sir?" asked Beni who saw Devan's facial expression.
"I don't know Beni. There's no caller ID" Devan said.
"She said there was, sir?" ask Beni to know.
"She said, 'Go back or something worse will happen!' Answer Devan.
"Wouldn't we tell Captain Wira?" ask Beni again.
Devan walks in his office and thinks.
"Maybe not now Beni, let the police figure out who did the stone-throwing first" Devan said.
Tok tok...
The sound of Devan's office door being knocked on and Beni standing near Devan's office door opened it.
"Sorry, can I meet Mr Devan?" ask a man to Beni.
Devan could not see his face but he recognized his voice.
Beni who recognized the man opened the door wider and let him in.
"Good night, Mr. Devan" said the man.
"Good night Bastian, how can I help you?" devan asked Bastian.
Bastian is the head of the Alfaro family. He works for Austin Leonard Alfaro, CEO of PT. DPA, which was then handled by Devan.
"Sir Devan, if you are pleased Mr. Austin wants to meet with Mr. at this time," said Bastian politely.
"Hmmm. We'd better leave now" Devan said, then walked to the office exit.
"Arn, make sure the office is under surveillance tonight" Devan said as he walked past Beni.
Beni's Visuals
"Good Sir. From the police have dropped his team and I have also asked for help from Team Security," said Beni and Devan nodded.
Bastian volunteered to drive Devan's car and the two of them then set off for the Austin residence.
On a 25-minute drive from Devan's office. Kanaya called. He sounded very worried let alone see the news from the television screen about what happened in Devan's office. But Devan says that Kanaya will not have to worry and will call him again later.
