Kanaya Disappears

*** flashback ON ***

Elvano shook the hand of foreign investors who had agreed to invest in his company he breathed a sigh of relief at last he could go home and meet Kanaya, after leaving him for almost 3 hours.

"You take care of everything, Anton. I need to get home soon. Cancel all my appointments today" Elvano told Anton.

"Is everything okay, sir?" anton asked, looking at the worried and worried look on his boss's face the first time he came to the office.

"Hmmm, yes," replied Elvano, not wanting to say what had actually happened.

"Call Panji, I'm waiting for him in the lobby" Elvano said as he stepped into the VIP elevator.

"Quick call Desi!" Shouted Elvano from the second floor, at the waiter he was talking to. The waiter immediately ran over quickly to summon Desi.

"Quick Desi, sir is calling you!" Said the waiter as soon as he saw Desi who had just finished giving the briefing.

With a flat and expressionless face Desi walked towards his master's house. From outside the house he could hear his master calling - calling Kanaya.

"Where's Kanaya? I don't see Kanaya in this room and in this whole house!" Elvano asked for an answer from Desi.

"Mrs? The madam was with Bella, sir." Desi said, then she stepped into Kanaya's room and went inside.

When he did not see Kanaya in the room he went out and checked the other rooms.

"Mrs? Bella ?" call Desi like Elvano earlier, but do not visit him.

"Where's Desi? Where's Kanaya?" elvano asked in despair.

He had searched Kanaya throughout the room in his house, but he could not find her.

"I will order all the servants to search for Madam, Master!" Desi said he immediately ran downstairs and called out to all the servants.

Elvano was sitting limp on the lowest steps while watching Desi instruct his servants to look for Kanaya and Bella.

'Where are you? Don't go, Kanaya. Don't you ever leave me!" Inner Elvano while covering her face with both of her palms.

He not only felt lost, but also felt as a very low person because of what he had done to Kanaya. He felt guilty for treating Kanaya so badly, and he regretted it. Tears flowed from behind the palm that covered his face.

"Sorry Melisa, I can't come home with you. You go home with Mr. Alvian." Devan told Melisa by phone.

"What's Devan? What the hell's been going on?" ask Melisa to know. Devan's voice sounded so deep and so sad.

"Kanaya..?" he disappeared?" devan said as he looked up at the sky above him.

"Disappeared what do you mean?" melisa asked confusedly.

"I'll tell you later, you go home first, Melisa," Devan said.

Melisa sighed, feeling heavy leaving Devan. In his heart he felt jealous of Devan's concern for Kanaya.

"Alright Devan, take good care of yourself" Melisa said, then she hung up her phone.

Police car sirens were still heard, some in police uniform were combing the front yard of Elvano's house.

Devan re-enters Elvano's house and passes Desi, who is being interrogated by the police in connection with Kanaya's disappearance.

"The lady is not well, so sir, move her to the room next door" Desi told police questioning her.

Devan sees Elvano sitting limply at one of the dining tables and approaches him. He grabbed the collar of Elvano's shirt and raised it as high as his face.

"Elvano I swear. If anything happens to Kanaya, or I find evidence that you tortured Kanaya, I will immediately throw you in jail! You hear?!" Devan said furiously while staring at Elvano.

"Sir Devan, be patient" said one of the police officers who was there trying to remove Devan's hand from Elvano's collar. Devan threw Elvano into a chair and left the house of Elvano.

Along the way, he thought, where would Kanaya go if she were Kanaya. Devan himself had contacted Ratna Mama Kanaya, and it turned out that Kanaya was not there.

Devan is worried about Kanaya. Kanaya recorded in the camera Cctv went in an unhealthy condition and looks still very weak face even look frightened.

'Kanaya, where are you?' devan's mind as his eyes combed through the streets of the city, searching for Kanaya's whereabouts. For hours he circled the city looking for if he could find Kanaya, but to no avail.
