"No matter what Ma, Kanaya is just plain sick, maybe she just wants the flu. And Elvano does have an important meeting out of town and cannot stay" Kanaya said with a smile.
"Sorry Mrs Luna, what do you want to drink?" desi asked cutting their conversation.
"Make me a warm tea, Desi," replied Luna.
"Well Madam, Mrs Kanaya?" ask Desi again.
"Take it, Desi." Answer Kanaya.
Desi nodded and left them both.
"How's your relationship with Elvano, Kanaya? Is everything okay?" asked Luna while looking at Kanaya and smiling.
"Okay Mah" Kanaya replied with a smile. Kanaya has been used to make plays about her relationship with Elvano, so when asked, she has been acting ordinary.
Luna looked at Kanaya.
"Did he treat you well?" ask Luna.
Kanaya's throat felt choked. He wanted to tell his mother-in-law what she was doing to him, but he couldn't.
"This is the tea of Madam" said Desi arrived while serving two cups of tea and a plate of cake
