Mother and Devan walked up to Kanaya and Elvano was about to congratulate her.

"Ratna, Rayhan, congratulations." Alika said as they passed by Kanaya's parents.

"Alika, Devan thank you for taking the time to come," Ratna said with a smile to Alika, then she looked at Devan.

"Kanaya must be very happy with your presence. Have you met Kanaya?" he asked but his eyes were still staring at Devan, as if giving sympathy towards Devan.

"Not yet, we just want to go there" replied Alika

"Come, I'll take you!" ratna said while embracing Alika's shoulders and guiding them towards Kanaya and Elvano.

"Kanaya, there's Mother Devan" Ratna said as she gently patted Kanay on the shoulder just before she left them as Rayhan called out to her.

"Congratulations, son. Mother wishes you happiness," said Mother Alika while hugging and kissing Kanaya.

"Thank you, Mother," replied Kanaya while replying to Mother Alika's embrace.

After that, Mother Alika greeted Elvano, while Devan congratulated Kanaya.

"Ay, congratulations. I wish you all the best" said Devan, holding out his hand as he stared at Kanaya's bead. Devan's throat was choked, but he was forced to say the sentence.

"Thank you, Van. Forgive Kanaya yes, Van," Kanaya said as she received Devan's hand that held her tightly. It felt like he was hugging Devan and crying in his arms but in his custody, because Elvano was beside him. Although Elvano was talking to Mother Alika, but she knew Elvano's eyes were watching her.

Devan just nodded and smiled, even though he wanted to say a lot of things, but in the end.

"I'm saying yes, Ay. Tomorrow I'm leaving." said Devan, forcing a smile.

"Yes, Van. You're good there. Sorry Kanaya can't deliver. I pray that you will be successful and can achieve your goals." said Kanaya finally.

"Thank you, Ay." said Devan. Then he heard Elvano thump.

"Congratulations Elvano." Devan told Elvano.

"Thank you for coming and being happy with us" Elvano said, embracing Kanaya.

"Come on Van." said Alika as she pulled her son's arm and then nodded politely at Elvano.

Alika and Devan walked away replaced by other guests who wanted to congratulate him.

"Don't humiliate me by looking at other men with affection!" elvano bluffs in Kanaya's ears when no one is near them.

"I'm not.." said Kanaya, staring at Elvano, and Elvano looked back meaningfully.

"Forget over your beloved, for you never see her again" whispered Elvano, smiling at the two women who came to them.

Kanaya turned to look at Elvano. He knew both women well, they were Maya and Lisda.

Maya and Lisda are Devita's college friends. Kanaya is not close to them but she knows them because Devita often goes with them.

"Elvano, congratulations, yes" Maya said as she walked through Kanaya, and immediately greeted Elvano and gave Elvano a chipiki, while Lisda smiled while waiting for Maya to experience Elvano. The two people completely ignored Kanaya who was beside Elvano.

Not the first time they did that. After the departure of Kak Devita, the two women who were close friends of Kak Devita, often ignored him and saw cynical towards Kanaya. He didn't know why, because they never said it, and Kanaya never asked. They were not close to Kanaya.

Kanaya just quietly stood beside Elvano, although he only found out that Maya was also familiar with Elvano from the body gesture he appeared.

"I was forced to come because I missed you so much" Maya replied as she glanced cynically at Kanaya.

"Relax Maya your worries won't happen" Elvano said as she glanced at Kanaya, smiling mockingly.

"Well call me, if you need me tonight" Maya whispered in Elvano's ear, but it could be heard by Kanaya.

Kanaya looks the other way, realizing that Maya has just teased Elvano.

He did not expect at all if Elvano and Maya also had a relationship. But why did Elvano marry her instead of Maya? Instantly a strange thought flashed in Kanaya's mind.

"You go out and enjoy the food. I don't want to give the impression that I'm ignoring my wife" Elvano said, embracing Kanaya.

Maya and Lisda leave Elvano and Kanaya.

"Do you have a relationship?" kanaya asked in a bold manner.

"I don't want to talk about it here" replied Elvano still embracing Kanaya and waving at a colleague not far from them.

"It's none of your business with whom I'm related!" elvano replied again while looking towards Kanaya and smiling cynically.

"Am I not your wife" asked Kanaya again.

"I did marry you, but that doesn't mean you can manage me. And remember Kanaya, I'm in control here and not you!" elvano said sharply.

Kanaya just quietly sighed hearing the words of Elvano who did not care at all about her feelings. And Kanaya also has to pretend to be happy until the event is over.

When the event was over, Kanaya went with Elvano to Elvano's room at the hotel. Kanaya is forced to do so to avoid the suspicions of her family.

The plan is to stay in the hotel until tomorrow, before Kanaya moves in and stays at Elvano's house.

"Sir Elvano and Ms. Kanaya please rest first, later in the afternoon we will do it for the preparation of the reception later tonight" Linda told Elvano and Kanaya, after she finished helping to fix Kanaya's hairdo and replace her danger with a long nightgown.

"Alright, if there is no one else we want to rest first" said Elvano.

Linda withdrew from their room.

Kanaya headed to the bed to lay down, as Elvano rebuked her.

"What are you doing?" ask Elvano.

"I want to rest, Brother El." replied Kanaya.

"Don't touch my bed, I won't sleep with you! Just sleep on the couch!" elvano said as he threw a pillow at the sofa near them, then he climbed in the basket without caring about Kanaya who was very tired.

Kanaya walked over to the sofa and slept there. He was very tired and immediately fell asleep when his head touched the pillow.
