(Not) Mistake
Chapter 11: Justification

“Vee? I'm talking to you.” Alvaro's sudden voice already heard in front of his face made Olvee gasp. He withdrew and moved away from Alvaro.

“Is something bothering you?” tanya Alvaro noticed Olvee's face that looked flushed.

“No,” replied Olvee as he continued his steps leaving Alvaro and his car.

“What day is so hot that you blush? You sick, Vee?” alvaro asked as if pretending not to know it made Olvee's move stop.

“Quite hot, I'm fine, Alvaro. I would walk around the complex looking for inspiration. You go home first.” Olvee spoke without looking at Alvaro, then resumed his steps.

“Vee, are you really okay?” This time Alvaro came over to Olvee and touched his forehead. He does not seem to know if Olvee is embarrassed to face Alvaro because of what he thinks.

“I'm fine! You better go home!” olvee exclaimed as she brushed Alvaro's hand off his face. He stared a little hard at Alvaro before walking faster.

However, since Olvee walked, he did not see Alvaro's car passing through. As soon as he looked back, Alvaro ran his car slowly following him. Olvee chose to ignore her sister and went home without going for a walk.

“Again, again, again?” Evan snapped his finger in front of the dreamy face of Alvaro.

“What else this time?” asked Evan lazy and annoyed after getting Alvaro attention.

“Evan, don't you have a job anymore? What job did I give you less? Why do you always bother me?” Alvaro instead asked back to feel annoyed at Evan.

“I'm at work, but my boss hasn't listened at all and has been daydreaming since I spoke.” Evan insinuates Alvaro.

“What do you need?” ask Alvaro ketus.

“We will start the meeting soon, Dear young Lord Marveen.” Evan answered while revealing the clock that circled his wrist.

Alvaro snorted and opened his eyes from Evan. However, he stood up and followed what his secretary said.

“Actually what else is bothering you? Did Kak Vee not show any response after ‘your hard work’ it?” evan asked in the middle of them walking. Seeing the expression on Alvaro's face that looked irritated in his composure, Evan had already gotten his answer.

“Already expected, Vee's sister is a rational adult not to date her own sister.” Evan laughs at Alvaro's misfortune.

“Shut up!” alvaro was getting annoyed.

“I'm thinking about why he avoids me this time more and doesn't talk to me even though we look and meet every day?” ask Alvaro.

“I don't understand him at all. He likes me but doesn't admit it,” Alvaro muttered to himself.

“It was because of his determination,” replied Evan.

“Once, maybe. I don't know either,” timpal Alvaro before they get into the meeting room.

“You ate a lot,” comments Zara on Olvee who visited her restaurant on a weekday like this.

“Did anyone bother you? You're not working today?” The same question he heard from Alvaro came out of Zara's mouth.

Olvee did not answer what Zara said or the question. He only ate food that was ordered by him. While Zara only watched Olvee who ate voraciously. There's only one reason Olvee eats so much. Something was troubling his mind. That has become his habit.

“Do I look like my own sister?” Olvee finally made a sound to ask after sipping half of her apple juice after the food on all of her ordered plates.

Zara choked on her own drink with a question beyond expectations that just came out of Olvee's mouth. They attracted some visitors, including a Zara employee who stared worriedly at his boss.

“Jawab!” insist Olvee.

“You've choked me and pushed me!” reply Zara ketus.

After Zara finished with her drink and regained control of herself, she looked at Olvee who was still waiting for her answer. He now feels compelled to tell his best friend.

“Do you like Alvaro?” ask Zara.

“No,” reply Olvee quickly.

“What?” Olvee raised her tone.

“I've also been ignoring him lately because I believe you won't be possible with Alvaro. Seeing you ask me this, you must want to make sure. I've seen that feeling for Alvaro. So does Alvaro to you.” Zara gave her answer after watching Olvee lately.

“Actually .. I also can't believe that those of you who are blood related can have such feelings. But Vee, what I see is that he really likes you not just as a big brother. Even so, you already know what the outcome will be. You and Alvaro are impossible.” Olvee fell silent after hearing everything Zara said.

“That's what I think,” said Olvee while nodding weakly.

“My advice is, forget it before it gets any further.” Olvee again agreed.

Zara was right, even if Alvaro tried his hardest, he would definitely fall in love too in the end with Jihan pretending to help him. It's gonna be like that. He'll forget about Alvaro and let him be with Jihan. He doesn't care what way Jihan will make Alvaro forget himself. He really doesn't care.

“It looks like Alvaro and Jihan are today dating again?” Zara's voice broke Olvee's daydream.

“What?” ask Olvee. Zara pointed with her chin behind Olvee making her turn and found Alvaro and Jihan who had just entered the restaurant.

“Their relationship seems to be getting closer and Alvaro is also trying to forget you.” Olvee stopped staring at them and turned back at Zara.

Zara doesn't know if Alvaro did it to make her jealous and conquer her. Jihan volunteered to help him. Or rather, pretend to help her to make Alvaro completely forget about her. Thinking Alvaro will one day forget him makes Olvee's feelings mixed up. Between being sad and forcing yourself to be happy about it. He was so clueless with all these complicated feelings.

“Waahh, looks like they're really making progress. They've dared to kiss.” Zara's words made Olvee look back to make sure of himself.

Zara immediately realized what she was saying and looked at Olvee. While Olvee ended the spectacle and returned to Zara.

“Hey, are you ok?” zara asked worriedly, looking at the two glazed Netra Olvee.

“I'm ok,” replied Olvee the opposite of his circumstances. He had already shed his tears and Olvee immediately wiped them away again and again. Now Olvee had absolutely no idea why just looking at it made her cry.

“I have to go now,” said Olvee then got up from his seat and left.

“Olvee!” zara exclaimed, inviting the gazes of several people including Alvaro and Jihan who were not far from her.

Alvaro looked towards Zara who was immediately noticed by him. Afterwards Alvaro turned towards the exit where Olvee had just passed by. He left Jihan just like that and soon followed Olvee out.

“Just now he's nodding to forget about Alvaro, but now he's hurt with jealousy. Are they really brothers and sisters? Why are they like that?” Zara just watched their behavior.

“Vee!” call Alvaro half yelling at Olvee who just got into his car.

“Olvee! Olvee!” yelled Alvaro trying to catch Olvee's car that had driven away from the restaurant.

“Shit!” alvaro and immediately went back inside the restaurant to retrieve his car keys. His mind was filled with Olvee and the question of what had actually happened before this.
