“Zara, thanks yes.” Olvee said in a soft voice after Zara's car came to a halt in front of a large house.
“According to Aunt Flora's orders, you I accompany.” Zara answered while removing her seatbelt.
Olvee shook his head. “I want to be alone, Zara,” said Olvee staring straight at Zara.
The seriousness shown by Olvee left Zara with no other choice. After meeting the two people who hate Olvee so much, Zara understood Olvee's decision. Moreover, those two people were Olvee family as well.
“If anything happens or need help, you should contact me immediately.” Zara stretched out her hands asking for a hug before parting ways.
Without waiting any longer, Olvee went inside Zara's arms and nodded inside. He got out of the car and waved to Zara who started to drive away. With slow steps, he entered the house and went straight up to the floor where his room was. Without changing her clothes or taking off her shoes, Olvee dropped her body on the bed. Tears and sobs slowly came out.
“You fake daughter family Marveen.”
“Whatever you act like my family's daughter, you won't be able to be Marveen's real daughter. Let's get that."
Words so simple, but able to cut his heart. Growing doubts that had been planted deep in his heart. However, the affection and love given by her parents always and continue to convince her that she is indeed their biological daughter. Now, the doubt is back and growing. Is it true that she is not the biological daughter of this family that they hate her so much?
Amidst sobs and a hiccuping sound, Olvee's room door was knocked from outside. Immediately realizing it, Olvee wiped her rough tears and confirmed her appearance. He should not raise any suspicions in front of anyone. Especially her parents.
When the door opened, it showed Alvaro in front of him still wearing the same suit as at the party. Before Olvee could say anything, Alvaro first stepped forward and hugged his body. The warm embrace he really needed made Olvee unable to hold back his tears. He returned Alvaro's embrace tightly and cried in his chest.
They stayed in that position for a few minutes. Alvaro said nothing but to let Olvee finish his crying. His premonition and experience of knowing Olvee, really helped him. At a time like this, he certainly needed someone even though what he said was solitude. Amidst Alvaro's thoughts, Olvee let go of their embrace and wiped away the remains of her tears.
“Don't want to hug me any longer, Brother?” tanya Alvaro tried to tease Olvee with her joke to melt the atmosphere and started to cheer her up.
“Why are you here?” Olvee inquired in a tart tone after hitting Alvaro's stomach slowly, as he usually does.
“I went with the same reason,” replied Alvaro easily. Olvee doesn't think both his parents easily allow Alvaro to lie.
“I have an urgent job actually. If you need me, I'm in the room.” Alvaro this time will leave him without any flirting drama or anything he used to do to Olvee when they were alone.
“Alvaro .. ” Olvee called him slowly while holding the suit he was wearing, unknowingly preventing his departure.
Alvaro turned around and looked at the lowered Olvee. His heart could not be happier than this and his heart did not stop racing because of Olvee's attitude. He was waiting for Olvee to open his heart to him.
“Can we talk for a minute?” tanya Olvee raised her head staring right at the pair of Alvaro beads that Olvee could not guess.
Without answering, Alvaro went into Olvee's room and closed the door. Not thinking about it, Olvee let it go and sat on the side of the bed. Alvaro took a seat at Olvee's table and sat facing each other.
“What do you want Sister to talk about?” ask Alvaro to start the conversation.
Olvee was a little nervous to ask Alvaro. He didn't know who to talk to and asked who but Alvaro. People who will never argue with him and always tell the truth.
“Why are you always sure that I'm not the daughter of this family?” The first question came out of Olvee's mouth that Alvaro never expected.
Alvaro looked at him for a long time before replying. “Oma and Opa,” replied Alvaro.
“What proof did they give you?” olvee asked back without pausing, as if she had expected it.
“No,” replied Alvaro back in a calm voice.
“You can go out, there's nothing else I want to talk about.” Olvee sighed softly after choosing to finish his conversation with Alvaro.
“I trust them doesn't mean I'm on the side of those who've already dumped our family. I don't like them either because of their attitude towards you. However, regardless of that, their words might just be the truth. The reason I trust them is because they've outlived us even our parents. And looking at their nature, the reason they act like they hate you is probably because you're not the daughter of the Marveen family!” Alvaro explained everything from the beginning.
“Quite, Alvaro,” says Olvee.
“I'm asking you out now!” Olvee raised his voice.
“Vee until when will you continue to believe in yourself with this falsehood?” ask Alvaro.
“Enough, Alvaro! You're out now!” exclaimed Olvee looked at Alvaro this time with tears breaking again.
“Vee .. ” Alvaro stood up from his seat and hugged Olvee who was trying to rebel from him.
“Come out, Alvaro .. I don't want to hear it again.” Alvaro knows the doubts that have arisen in Olvee's heart. Despite having to watch Olvee cry, he still wants to try to open Olvee's heart to her.
The only reason Olvee is because of their brother and sister's relationship that has long been embedded by both their parents. He was pretty sure if it wasn't for this relationship, Olvee would have liked it. Therefore, from here the starting point must be formed.
“If you still don't trust me, try to dare to ask yourself. Or on Oma and Opa. Or if you still doubt other people's words, try doing a DNA test to confirm it.” Alvaro said back in the middle he was busy calming Olvee down in his arms.
“Despite the result that I will not be your brother, I will still not accept you and will regard you as my sister. Mama and Papa have raised me as their child, then I will still be their child.” Olvee answered him amidst her still hiccups.
“Vee .. ” Alvaro took off their embrace and stared at Olvee's pair of deep and sharp beads.
“Can't you open your heart for me? I really love you! I can't be far away and parted from you!” Alvaro raised his voice to affirm Olvee while holding both his shoulders.
“You have chosen Jihan,” said Olvee slowly.
“Jihan? She's just the girl I used to make you jealous and my efforts to make your heart open to me.” Olvee could not believe what he had just heard. His sister, who he thought was good, turned out to be a bad person to a woman.
“You are evil, Alvaro.” Olvee shook his head in disbelief.
“Now no. I'm gonna be serious about this relationship, Vee. I'll take all the risks. If you still won't accept me, then I'll actually marry Jihan and it's all done.”
