Chapter 19: The Beginning of Hate

“Someone visited you today." Evan enters his room with a girl.

Alvaro did not shift his focus even a bit from the computer in front of him. “Say I'm busy,” she replied.

Evan cleared his throat to make Alvaro look at them. After a few seconds passed, Alvaro finally looked up and was a little surprised to find Jihan with Evan. He thought, Evan said it when he had not been with the visitor in question.

“Jihan, sit down," said Alvaro just invited Jihan while standing up from her seat.

“I will continue the work then.” Without being ordered again, Evan walked out of Alvaro's room.

“What brought you here?” alvaro asked as usual not intending to be stale after they sat facing each other.

“I'm sorry for interrupting your time at work,” said Jihan started a conversation that Alvaro did not want.

“I just want to ask, is your relationship with Brother Olvee already running?” Questions that Alvaro never expected came out of Jihan's mouth.

Surely that suspicion was there when they went to the amusement park yesterday. He did not want Jihan to know this first so that he could use this girl more than he could. If they had already broken off the relationship, it would be difficult to relate to Olvee without Jihan as a shield. After knowing the intent of his help, Alvaro hesitates if Jihan will not be his and Olvee's distraction in the future.

‘Bring me the map on the study table in my room, Vee. I want you to drive him.'

Olvee stared at the message Alvaro had sent a few minutes ago. He was only halfway through starting his work, but the man was already bothering him.

“Alvaro ... ” Olvee's unrelenting wrath got out of his seat, left his job and went to Alvaro's room.

“I've told him thousands of times not to be careless and forget what matters when the day works,” grumbled Olvee muttered as he opened Alvaro's room door.

After finding what he was looking for, Olvee picked it up and returned to his room. Prepare to go to Alvaro's office to deliver it, according to the wishes of the boss of the company who is careless.

“Vee, where are you going?” ask Flora who is in the living room.

“Alvaro again left his job in the room, Ma.” Olvee showed me the map he was holding.

“That child is always alone!” exclaimed Flora who was also upset.

“I'll scold him in the office later, Ma,” suggested Olvee.

“Good it, Vee!” Flora gave her thumb to Olvee in place of her blessing to scold her son.

Olvee left by car for Alvaro's office. Arriving there, he received a warm greeting and welcome from the employees who already knew who he was. Not much chat first, he immediately went up to the top floor where Alvaro's room was located.

“Is Alvaro in the room, Evan?” asked Olvee who surprised the man enough with a knock on his desk.

“Kak Vee, why is Brother here?” ask Evan.

Olvee raised the map he held in response to Evan's question. Evan looked at Olvee full of disappointment and shook his head as feeling guilty did not remind Alvaro. Either Evan realizes that this is only the best sense of the boss and his obnoxious sidekick.

“Leave it here, I'll give it to Alvaro.” Evan advised.

“I will meet him directly to convey Mama's anger,” replied Olvee smiling cunningly.

“But .. ” Have not had time to say Evan finished, Alvaro's room door opened from the inside which made their attention switch. Jihan came out of Alvaro's room.

“Vee!” Followed by Alvaro who came out of his room.

A few minutes ago before Olvee came.

“I just want to ask, is your relationship with Brother Olvee already running?” Questions that Alvaro never expected came out of Jihan's mouth.

“Did you spy on me with Vee yesterday to the amusement park?” Alvaro asks back to lure more information from Jihan while simultaneously betting.

Although the girl in front of him was not easy to lie to, Alvaro was also not difficult to guess whether he was lying or not. Looking at his response, Alvaro could already guess what the answer was. And the next speculation is, Jihan already suspected him far from yesterday. Or he already knew from Olvee straight away. Better he end this now, Alvaro thought.

“I also know the reason why you want to help me. No matter how hard you try, I told you, Jihan. I won't forget Vee because he's been a part of my life and holds my whole life. Don't even try to get close to Vee and try to keep us apart through nonsense. This is a warning for you.” Alvaro began to speak again in a tone that Jihan did not want to hear back.

“But, thanks to you we can be together now. I wanted to use you more to cover up our relationship, but it doesn't seem necessary anymore. Sooner or later everyone will know Olvee is mine.” Alvaro was eager to say that phrase to Jihan. However, since he owed her a debt, he would not say anything that hurt the girl.

“Because of this you already know, we don't need to be in a relationship anymore, do we?” In the end, a parting sentence that Jihan did not want to hear, came out of Alvaro's mouth as well.

“Do you really believe in your relationship that will last forever?” Suddenly Jihan asked a question that no one would be able to answer.

“I will only do it to succeed and last forever. I told you Vee was my life.” Alvaro answered confidently.

“I understand.” When he said that, Alvaro could clearly see the disappointment that lay within his facial expression.

“I'll go.” Jihan said goodbye and stood up from her seat to then leave Alvaro's room.

It seemed that Jihan could no longer help herself from crying. Seeing how her character was in college, she was not too obsessed with getting what she wanted. She is also a smart girl who knows what she should do and what she should not do. For now, Alvaro will only see Jihan in the future who could potentially be a destroyer of his relationship or not.

“Vee!” alvaro exclaimed as he walked out of his room and found Olvee already in front of Evan's desk.

“Come here," said Alvaro as he gave the code to him to approach.

Without much talking or putting on a face of anger, Olvee approached Alvaro. All the intentions and what he had prepared for Alvaro before coming here seemed to just disappear just like that just because he saw Jihan coming out of Alvaro's room. Everything is lost along with Jihan who leaves with her grief.

Olvee gave the documents he had brought at Alvaro's request and left after giving them away without saying anything. Making Alvaro who wanted to take advantage of the opportunity he had made to undo his intentions, seeing how Olvee's facial expression was completely unable to be disturbed or seduced.

“Thank you, Brother. Be careful.”
