Chapter 40: Hard Head

“You just got home after having a good day full of Alvaro?” As soon as he entered the house, his mother and father were waiting for him in the living room.

“I met him, but I-”

“Verald just got home, he said if Alvaro took you to his penthouse until he drove you to the office to bring your car that Evan.” brought Olvee can't be evasive anymore if his father has confirmed it properly through his spies, Verald.

He did not expect that Verald would do his father's orders to watch over him. There was no more reason that he had thought would be useful. What's he supposed to say?

“Vee ..” Zahir walking closer to her scared Olvee.

“Zahir!” call Flora against her husband and stand between them.

“Surge, Flora!” snapped Zahir while pushing Flora hard enough to be knocked out.

“Mama!” olvee immediately approached her mother.

However, Zahir was quicker to prevent it. He unbuttoned the top of Olvee's shirt to reveal his neck filled with reddish marks Alvaro's work. Zahir and Flora were surprised to see this.

“Olvee! Papa warned you to stay away from Alvaro and ..." Zahir hung up his words and ruffled his hair in frustration.

"You didn't listen to Papa at all!" zahir's snapping made Olvee flinch.

"Zahir, enough!" Flora tried to stop her husband.

"What's the reason you don't want me with Alvaro, Pa?" asked Olvee with tears that had wetted her cheeks.

"Vee, enough! Don't answer or fight Papa!" flora's sweat was just as firm on Olvee.

"Mama didn't try to help me and support Papa at all, so you better shut up now. Don't you understand that my happiness is in Alvaro?!" shouted Olvee frustrated.

"Jawab Vee, Pa!" reply Olvee to Zahir.

"You were raised as brothers, so you will forever only be brothers" Zahir replied firmly.

"Don't always say that! You're not even my family!" olvee shouted followed by her sobs.

Zahir and Flora were quite surprised to hear Olvee being so stubbornly opposed to her father's decision. The Olvee they knew was cheerful, submissive, and sweet had completely changed. There's no more Olvee their daughter here now. Olvee before them now had dared to resist and did not consider Zahir and Flora both his parents. It was enough to make both of them feel disappointment.

"Vee ..." Flora called him weak.

"From now on you are no longer allowed to leave the house a metre until your wedding and Verald is held. Don't worry, Papa will prepare it quickly with Pero's family." Zahir's word has come out and it sounds absolute that can no longer be disturbed by Olvee.

"Papa couldn't do that to me" Olvee said, still denying that he had moved from his place.

"Get into the room or Papa will drag you!" zahir's orders were once again the ones Olvee was still missing.

"Vee!" snapped Zahir while pulling Olvee's hand.

"No, I don't want to!" reply Olvee no less screaming.

"Zahir, you hurt Vee." Flora also cries and helps Olvee to escape from Zahir.

"Since you and Alvaro acted, you've been such a dissident. Vee, from the beginning Papa shouldn't have given you-"

"Me and Verald can't get married because I'm pregnant with Alvaro's child!" Olvee cuts off Zahir's words, revealing important information for him to get out of here. He was fed up with both his parents.

Zahir and Flora who were holding Olvee on both sides weakened upon hearing what their daughter said. An indescribably shocked expression was painted on the faces of the two. However, Olvee can't be too hopeful that her father will change his decision, given how father is. He could only hope that his gentle and always supportive father would return.

"Vee, is that true? Is it true what you said?" flora asked as she shook her body.

Olvee with reddened eyes looked at her mother, "That's right. You can no longer separate us. I'll get out of here with Alvaro!" exclaimed Olvee while removing both hands of the mother who held both shoulders.

"Stop right there, Vee." Zahir raised his voice again.

"You're going to stay married to Verald" she continued.

"After Papa got rid of the baby." Both Olvee and Flora who heard could not be more surprised to hear Zahir's decision. Should he have acted so far?

"No! This is my baby, you can't do it!" Olvee was completely frightened and held her stomach to protect her.

Zahir doesn't talk much anymore. He dragged Olvee into his room, no matter how loud Olvee shouted or how hard he thrashed. Zahir locked Olvee in his room and returned to his room.

"Father!" olvee shouted from inside while banging hard on the door.

"Vee ..." Flora called him soft, but he still went after Zahir.

Zahir was pensive in his room. His body was sweating coldly, especially his hands. He could not deny that he was covered in guilt and fear after doing all the evil things to Olvee. However, the fear he felt of losing Olvee was much more terrifying.

"Zahir," call Flora.

"Magor ..." Flora's facial expression flinched when she saw how Zahir was doing.

"Do you have to go this far?" flora asked as she carried her husband into her arms.

"I must" Zahir insisted.

"You've seen for yourself, Vee now hates us for getting in the way. It's also our grandson-in-law, would you do it?" asked Flora once again who did not get an answer from Zahir.

Flora sighed. He broke their embrace. "I'm going to the kitchen to make a drink" Flora said.

Zahir just nodded and let go of Flora just like that. Flora came out and walked into the kitchen, indeed intending to take a drink. But that's not the real purpose. Once in the dark kitchen, Flora watches the surroundings, making sure Zahir stays in the room. Feeling lonely, Flora picked up her phone and dialed someone's number.

"Hello, Ma?" tell someone across the phone.

"Celine, can you go home now and help your sisters? Papa really can't be stopped now." Flora spoke very carefully while controlling her crying that was again coming out.

"But what's up? Celine can't just come in there, Ma." Celine also felt anxious about her mother's situation which sounded very alarming, but she also could not just leave her job.

"It's a very long story, Vee is now pregnant with Alvaro's child and Papa intends to abort Vee's womb and marry her to Verald. Please, Mama can't stop Papa and help Vee." A few seconds Celine did not speak, perhaps out of shock at hearing all these unexpected things.

"W-what? Vee and Alvaro? Mama sure? Isn't Alvaro engaged to Jihan?" ask Celine streak.

"You'll be home soon and Mama will tell you everything. You're my only hope, Mama, Celine."

"Celine will try to get home soon, Ma."
