Chapter 4: Foreign Feelings

Olvee continued to apply a variety of paint colors that contain palettes on white canvas that have been partially covered by various colors. Slowly, the colors he had filled in the patterns he had drawn before, formed a perfect painting. He put down the palette and brush he was holding and raised both his hands in front of his face. Re-examine the painting through the slit of the box he made using his finger while closing one of his eyes. After making sure, he took his palette and brush back to complete the part he felt was lacking.

“Perfect,” praise him judge his own work that again he managed to make.

Painting is not just a job or a hobby. However, it was also part of his soul and life. Every work of art that he made, contains a variety of emotions, soul, and all the abilities of the painter or can be said he himself as a painter. Satisfaction after completing his hard work, can not be paid by any nominal currency. Olvee really loves her job and her hobbies.

The ringing sound of Olvee's cell phone made him turn to the room right outside his gallery. After making sure that his new-born work was safe, Olvee came out of his gallery and went into his room to pick up the phone. Without picking up the phone, it shifts the touch screen towards the green color and activates the loud speaker.

“Halo, Sister Celine. How are you and Brother-in-law?” greet Olvee first as soon as the phone is connected.

“Hola, Sister Ma. Your brother is fine here. What about you and the others?" timpal's a person on the phone who also throws questions. Celine, Olvee and Alvaro's older sister and first child of Zahir Marveen and Flora Marveen.

“We're all fine, Brother. By the way, does Brother-in-law not mind all this time you always work?” ask Olvee.

“What do you mean objection? All this time he did not mind at all and always supported me,” replied Celine who Olvee believed was scrunching her forehead.

“Of course because Brother is too tired so has not yet had my nephew.” Olvee laughed in satisfaction at teasing her brother.

“Basic!” celine exclaimed in annoyance when she heard her sister's laughter.

“You should get married and give me a sister-in-law. Instead of constantly struggling with your work and always falling in love with your own work!” he continued to reply to Olvee's taunts.

“Painting is not just my hobby or job, Brother.” Olvee said no to lose and vexedly denied.

“Painting is part of my soul, my life, and my love. It is my soul mate, life, and love too. There is nothing more suitable to be my partner than to paint,” Olvee continued in a dramatic tone.

“Olvee Ranasya Marveen, wake up! You won't be able to marry your job." Instead of getting carried away, Celine laughed at her sister.

Olvee snorted bitterly, hearing the sound of laughter filled with ridicule of her brother. No one can understand himself who loves art more than anyone. Including brothers. Perhaps, just like Alvaro who likes business and economics as his job. So did Celine with the smell of drugs and patients. You can't like either or understand it. Including the two of them who do not like or understand him.

“By the way about the wedding, you'll soon get a sister-in-law. Did you know Alvaro and Jihan's match?" Olvee switched their conversation. She believes Celine was the last person to know important information in the family because they lived in a different city.

“What?!” Celine's voice on the phone went up an octave.

“You still don't know it, brother? You're the last person to know,” Olvee said.

“Who is the girl?” celine asked after controlling herself back.

“What Brother remember the first girl who became friends of Alvaro and Evan?” Olve asked back.

He is not sure if Jihan is Alvaro's first girl friend, but he can be around his cold sister thanks to Evan. Although it looks more on Jihan is Evan's friend than Alvaro. However, he remains someone close to Alvaro, right?

“Who?” Celine asked puzzledly because her obnoxious sister had no girl friends.

“Jihan, he's from the Handreson family. The girl Alvaro brought with Evan.” Olvee.

“That girl? There was a wind of what annoying boy received the matchmaking he had long resisted vehemently?” celine asked in surprise for not thinking.

“I didn't know it either, but it was a good thing. I was worried that she would not marry because of her nature. However, thank goodness she will get married soon.” Olvee's tone glimmered as she said it.

“I think so too as you. I'm so happy and grateful that he's willing to accept a girl in his life. Vee, don't you want to get married before that little bastard?” Celine again teases Olvee by throwing jokes as usual. However, this time there was no response from Olvee in a long time.

“Vee? You're still there, right?” celine asked, blurting out Olvee's short daydream.

“Te-of course I'm still here, Kak.” Olvee answered immediately.

“Nothing, Brother. By the way, I have to go back to work on some of my unfinished work. I'll hang up the phone, brother." Olvee begins to say goodbye to Celine who can't say anything to her little sister who is still worried.

“Alright.. If you have any news, let me know immediately. See you, Vee." Celine turned off her phone first.

Olvee wiped his freshly cleaned hand and grabbed his phone and opened a gallery on his phone. The screen showed a picture of her with someone. He was so worried about the man in the picture. Exactly worried about the decision taken by his sister. He hoped, Alvaro did not mess with this matchmaking.

“Alvaro .. ”

“Vee .. ”

Olvee who was shocked and gasped, immediately turned his head towards the source of the voice that called out to him. His mother was standing not far from the bed he was in. Olvee immediately stood up from his seat and turned off his phone.

“Ma-ma? What's up?” ask Olvee.

“Is there something you're thinking about, honey? You look sad and moody earlier Mama noticed,” said Flora staring worriedly at her daughter.

“Nothing to worry about, Ma. Sister Celine just called and I'm giving you news about Alvaro and Jihan's matchmaking.” Soon Olvee changed her facial expression and tried to speak normally back to her mother.

“Really? I forgot to tell Celine.” Flora patted her own forehead.

“I've updated him and I'll update him,” Olvee replied.

“Good, Vee. Alvaro and Jihan's engagement will soon be held. You'll call Celine.” Olvee was a little surprised by the news he had just heard. It's only been a few weeks since the family meeting was held. However, both of his parents had prepared everything.

“Vee?” Flora called back to him who again awakened Olvee from her reverie.

“Iya, Ma? So, when will Alvaro and Jihan get engaged?” tanya Olvee changed the conversation.

“Secapnya. However, if it is a wedding, we agreed to leave it to the two of them.” Flora replied with a fervor that was met with a smile by Olvee.

“Mama will continue the work of others. Remember to take a break from your work, Vee.” Olvee replied with a gesture of respect to answer the mother.

Either his mother listened and watched him from when. I hope it's just. Olvee is worried that his mother will find out who he is or who Alvaro is. Wait, why should he worry about himself?
