Lara enters the room and her arrival takes center stage due to her fairly dramatic appearance with a lot of blood on her face and clothes.
"Sorry, am I late for the exam?" ask Lara to one of the lecturers.
"Miss, you're hurt you better head to the clinic first. We will give you time to take the exam tomorrow," said the lecturer who was quite touched by Lara's attitude who really wanted to take the exam.
"Thank you ... Thank you," Lara replied lowering her head and there was a feeling of relief in her heart now that she could still take the test despite being late.
"I'll drive you" said Phoenix, who was still behind Lara.
"Where's the clinic?" ask Phoenix to the lecturer.
"100 meters from here. His place is next to the medical faculty," replied the Lecturer.
Lara looked towards the Phoenix.
"no need. I've troubled you enough. I'm sorry," said Lara.
"I want to make sure you're okay" Phoenix said.
"No. Because I won't be able to repay your kindness later. Please don't help me anymore" said Lara looking at the Phoenix with her bright blue eyes.
Phoenix doesn't like to talk too much. So he immediately pulled Lara's hand towards the clinic which was 100 meters away from there that had been shown by the lecturer.
Lara ended up just following Phoenix's steps behind her because Phoenix pulled her hand and did not let go at all until she arrived at the clinic.
Shortly thereafter, Lara was treated by a clinic doctor. Lara's wounds had to be stitched up and Phoenix saw all of that process.
Phoenix looked at Lara's face, which had no expression of pain when the doctor treated her wounds.
Lara only seemed to hold her own hand tightly. The nurse cleaned her beautiful face which was starting to look because the blood covering her face had been cleaned.
Then Lara's gaze collided with the Phoenix's sharp eyes that had been pointed at her ever since. It makes Lara awkward and avoids her eyes.
"Thank you for your help. I can't pay anything back" Lara said, bowing respectfully to Phoenix.
"Hmm, I don't need anything in return" Phoenix replied in his usual nonchalant tone.
Phoenix then took off her black leather jacket and gave it to Lara.
"Wear it, your clothes are full of blood and you're like you're filming a murder movie" Phoenix said.
Lara does not immediately take her jacket until Phoenix finally pulls Lara's hand and puts her jacket into Lara's hand.
"Thank you, I'll give it back later" said Lara slowly, still looking down, not looking at Phoenix.
"no need. I have a lot of jackets at home" Phoenix replied.
Phoenix finally came home after seeing Lara's already fine state. They were not even acquainted at all and Phoenix had to leave immediately after getting a call from the daddy who told him to come to the company immediately.
Lara immediately headed for the room where the exam was held. He did the test smoothly and his grades were perfect.
Lara was very pleased with that. Her smile expanded for the first time that day after a frustrating incident.
Then Lara went straight to her apartment. Once there, Lara immediately took a bath because her body was very smelly and sticky.
After bathing, Lara changed her clothes and her eyes were fixed on the black leather jacket that was now on her bed.
He picked up the jacket and hung it in the closet. Lara smelled perfume from the jacket. And he remembered something that would smell good. It smells the same as the brown jacket he got a few days ago from someone he doesn't know.
"Was he the same man at the time?" muttered Lara slowly.
