The next day, Lara and Silas head to a magnificent mansion of the Robert family.
"Why are we here, Uncle? Wouldn't it be better to talk about this in the company?" tanya Lara followed Silas walking behind her.
"They privileged us, Lara.Me and Rey have been friends for a long time. His father is my friend too. I hope that you will be able to establish a good cooperation with his son" Silas replied.
Lara did not ask any more and just followed Silas behind her. All the bodyguards were waiting in the courtyard of the mansion.
Silas is accompanied by Lara and one of her assistants, Mr. Travis.
"Hello, Mr. Silas .." welcome Rey to the main door of the mansion.
Seeming beside him, Phoenix stood beside him.
The Phoenix's eyes were already fixed on the figure of Lara who was behind Silas.
"This is my youngest son, Phoenix," Rey introduced Phoenix to Silas.
"Hopefully we can work together, Uncle Silas." Phoenix shook Silas' hand.
"It's nice to meet you, son. Oh yeah, it's Lara. She will manage my company in New Jersy later," Silas introduced Lara to Phoenix.
Phoenix reached out her hand and Lara made her official but without a smile on her face.
'So he'll be my partner later?' inner Lara.
"Hopefully we can work well together, Miss Lara," Phoenix said, looking into Lara's blue eyes.
"You haven't even seen our proposal yet" Lara replied flatly.
Silas laughed softly at that.
"Later you'll get used to it, son. Trust me, you have nothing to lose working with our company. Lara is my best man" Silas said.
"Now let's go in and have a chat about this business" Rey said.
The five of them entered the mansion. They talked about this inidi living room whose decoration was quite luxurious and magnificent like a palace.
Lara gave the proposal to Phoenix. The conversation turned into a serious discussion because it involves a billion dollar business.
Not felt for 2 hours they spent time for this business meeting. Until finally entering dinner time.
Rey and Galy as hosts really entertained Silas and Lara well. Mr. Giles went first to settle matters in the office.
Lara sees Galy coming out of the kitchen with Davina. Lara who saw that just stared at him flatly and coldly.
"Without?" Davina.
"You know each other?" ask Galy.
Davina nodded. "He's daddy's foster son, Aunty. And we were separated for a long time" Davina replied with a smile and calm.
'Cih ... disgusting ..' Lara's inner seeing Davina's falsehood.
Lara never believed Davina had changed. In her eyes Davina would always be a spoiled and heartless bully figure.
"Bahh ... So this is your first meeting after separation?" ask Galy excited.
Davina nodded and smiled. Unlike Lara who put on her cold and flat face. Phoenix noticed that. And so is Silas. Silas knows what happened between Lara and Davina.
"Let's have dinner" said Rey. The six of them had dinner together.
They ate while chatting and Davina seemed to want to master this conversation with her smart-ass and smart-ass words that made Lara want to vomit when she heard it.
While Lara just kept quiet and enjoyed her dinner without wanting to come into the chat.
Once again, Phoenix's eyes stared at Lara. Lara's eyes collided with Phoenix's eyes looking at her.
There was no expression on Lara's face. Lara's gaze was very cold and cynical. Then Lara averted her eyes and resumed her dinner until it was over.
