In the afternoon, Mr. Wilson's lawyer appeared to come to the police station. He retracted the report made by his boss' wife and released Lara because he thought it was a family matter that could be resolved internally.
And Lara was grateful for that. Lara immediately went with Mr. Wilson's lawyer to the hospital where Davina was treated.
"I can only get you here" the lawyer said at Davina's front door.
"Thank you, sir," said Lara.
Slowly, Lara opened the door and saw Mr. Wilson and his wife inside accompanying Davina.
Lara still lowered her head and walked over to Mr. Wilson. Berly looked angry because he saw the arrival of Lara who he thought was already in prison.
"You're releasing this bastard, honey?" berly asked annoyed at the husband.
"He's innocent. I believe that Lara was a good boy and could not have deliberately harmed Davina" Wilson said.
"I'm sorry, Uncle. I had to do that," said Lara who was still lowered.
"Yes, my driver told me. Davina shouldn't have done that to you. Forgive uncle Lara" said Harlow Wilson.
Then Mr. Wilson looked towards Lara's bandaged head.
"How's your head, son?" ask Harlow.
"My head has improved, Uncle. Yesterday the university doctor sewed it up, "lara replied.
Then Harlow approached her and hugged her.
"I'm sorry Davina. Uncle knows you must be angry at what he did to you. The test is very important to you" Harlow said.
"Hmm," replied Lara who was unmoved.
Berly and Davina who saw it were even more upset because it was Harlow who apologized to Lara. The hatred in Davina's heart grew.
Then Harlow let go of his embrace.
"Yes, only the head wounds are like you" Harlow replied.
Lara is not surprised by the fact that Berly exaggerates Davina's injuries to the police.
"I'll excuse you, Uncle. Hopefully Davina will recover quickly and get out of the hospital soon" said Lara.
"Be careful on the road, son," said Harlow Wilson.
Lara just nodded and left from there.
After Lara's departure, Davina threw away the plate on the table next to her bed.
"Davina, what are you doing?" harlow said with a slight snarl.
"Daddy always stood up for him. He's guilty, Dad. Why is daddy always defending her from me?" snapped Davina mad.
"Is he the bastard daddy of another woman?" asked Davina furiously.
"DAVINA!!! WATCH YOUR MOUTH!!!" snapped Harlow who this time could not stem his anger.
"Daddy is so ashamed of this attitude of yours. Why are you so mean to her? He never made trouble with you. Why do you seem to hate him so much?" annoyed Harlow.
"Yes, I hate him so much, Dad. He took your attention away from me. You should only be watching me, not that criminal kid!!" snapped Davina.
"Look how ungrateful you are. You got everything you wanted. While Lara? He struggled alone in his life. You're so spoiled as if hurt. Did you ever imagine being like her? How hard has his life been all this time? And so easily you want to ruin his dream. Daddy was very disappointed in you, Davina," Harlow said at length and walked out of Davina's room.
Davina cried because Harlow scolded her because Harlow had never snapped her and scolded her. And he hates Lara even more because of this.
"I hate Lara so much, Mom. He took the daddy from me," isak Davina in Berly's arms.
"Calm down, honey. We're gonna make it go away from our lives. Mommy doesn't like it either because she's torn our family apart" Berly said hatefully to Lara.
