"Lara will be here as long as you go to the company" Velvet said.
"Hmm, I'll pick her up later" Phoenix replied as she enjoyed her morning meal.
"You don't want to go anywhere, Lara? Brother will take you wherever you want" said Velvet.
"Don't, he can't go anywhere without me" Phoenix said.
"I didn't ask you. Don't be so possessive of him" Velvet replied.
"Can you not argue anymore? I was really dizzy to hear it" Damon said.
"I just want to be here, brother. We can spend all our time chatting as long as I'm here" Lara said at last.
"Alright," Velvet replied smiling.
"You're not vomiting anymore, Phoe?" ask Velvet.
"No, just a little nauseous" Phoenix replied.
"It's a shame" Damon said.
Velvet laughed softly.
"I'm glad to feel that. That's why I love her so much, sister," Phoenix said.
"Yes yes ... Congratulations, Lara, you have an exemplary husband" said Velvet.
Lara just laughed softly in response.
"You're always a bitch, Vel," Phoenix replied.
"Phoe, be careful with your words" Damon said.
"You're the same" Phoenix said.
"Hurry up and eat, you'll be late for the meeting" Velvet said.
Half an hour passed and Phoenix left for the company with Damon after breakfast.
"Let's just sit by the pool." Velvet held Lara's hand and brought her to the pool area on the right side of the mansion.
"They were taken by Uncle Bryce on vacation" Velvet replied.
"Are they on school holidays?" ask Lara.
"Yes, it's only been a week" replied Velvet.
"How was your pregnancy, Lara? Is it not a hassle?" Velvet and Lara are now sitting on a rattan sofa by the pool.
"No, my pregnancy wasn't fussy at all. It was precisely Phoenix who was a little fussy and spoiled," Lara replied.
"He's always spoiled, Lara." Velvet laughed.
"You know about Davina?" ask Velvet.
Lara nodded. "He lived a life of deprivation and did not suffer as much as he did" Lara replied.

Velvet listened intently to the whole story about the meeting of Lara and Phoenix eight years ago.
