Davina is at a loss as to where to find help to pay off all of Berly's debts. Those loan sharks had even come making a fuss in the company and that made him very embarrassed.
Davina is already preparing for her move to Europe. But his mother's problems, they're messing things up. If this is heard to the ears of Robert's family, the story is finished.
"Miss, Mr. Cornwell calls you" said Davina's secretary.
"Yes" Davina replied and immediately stepped out of her chair.
Mr. Cornwell was the CEO of his company that replaced him yesterday. He was one of the confidants of Robert's company.
Davina entered Mr. Cornwell's room and saw the sharp look in her eyes that led to her.
"What the fuck is this, Davina? If the reporters came to know this, they would preach this shameful thing with a lot of spice. And you know what that means? Our clients won't trust this company anymore and they'll step down. Automatically this company won't run again" angry Mr. Cornwell.
"I know, but give me time to finish this. If necessary I will ask Phoenix for help or Uncle Rey," Davina replied lowered her head.
"You crazy? Do you realize what you're saying? Phoenix won't help you at all. I know the internal problems you're facing. He's not gonna help you, Davina. And mister Rey? He wouldn't waste his money just to pay for something as useless as that" Cornwell replied.
"Then what should I do?" ask Davina in despair.
"I don't know. And it's none of my business. Don't bring your problems into this company. I'm the one holding this company now. I've spent a lot on this company after Phoenix left here" Cornwell replied angrily.
"Go from here. That's your only way. I don't want this company to be affected. I'm gonna buy all your and your mom's shares that's not how much" Cornwell said.
Davina was surprised to hear that.
"This is my father's company. I raised her and you want to take her?" angry Davina.
"You raised him? You forgot that was all because of Phoenix? If there's no him, you're nothing, Davina. Like at the moment. And now I have the power here. I have far more shares than you," said Mr. Cornwell.
"Kauuu .." - furious Davina.
"Go willingly or I must drive you out by force" said Mr. Cornwell in a sharp tone.
Davina was silent and could do nothing. He doesn't know what to do now. There was no other way but to sell his shares because it was now of no use to him.
"A good choice. Go, my assistant will call you later." Cornwell sat back in his seat.
Davina walked out of the room with slow and limp steps. He felt his world was destroyed and now only his home was left. And his father's company had also disappeared from his grasp.
Lara returned to her room and closed the door. She was crying behind the door. He did not know what happened after this with his life that had been messed up because of his mother.

Phoenix looked stunned hearing that. Because Lara said that voluntarily without being told by him.
