Lara did not answer and was still in front of the car. One of the men approached her and pulled her hand. But Lara bit him and kicked his leg.
"Majulah. I will face you all," challenged Lara with her blank look.
"You want to die?" sniff the man.
"Yes, I want to die. Come here to make me die" said Lara.
The three men looked astonished by Lara's attitude. Then the man came back to Lara and wanted to pick her up to take her to the side of the road. But once again, Lara fought back and hit the man's cheek and stomach.
BUGS ... BUGGS ...
"Reply me. I let you reply to me!!!" shouted Lara frustrated.
The three men were still silent in place and looked towards Lara. Then suddenly a middle-aged man came out of the luxury car.
"Hey, little girl. If you don't want to go from there, you better come with me" said the old man calmly and stared intently at Lara.
Lara looked towards the man wearing a suit that looked expensive. Lara still remained silent not answering. He was still looking towards the middle-aged man.
"You're going to kill yourself, aren't you? Just come with me and work with me" said the man again.
" What can you give me?" ask Lara.
"What do you have?" ask the man back.
"I have a smart brain. You have nothing to lose in hiring me," said Lara flatly because she spoke at all costs.
The man smiled his smile at Lara's confidence.
"Go to my car, I'm in a hurry because there's going to be an event tonight" replied the man and got back in his car.
Lara then approached him and followed him from behind. Lara doesn't care what happens next. In his brain there is only a word. He wanted to take this opportunity as his last.
Lara's not stupid. He knew that the old man who offered him the job was a rich man and seemed influential because many bodyguards escorted him with 2 cars behind him.
They are already in the car.
"My name is Silas Theodon, what's your name?" ask Silas.
"I'm Lara ... Lara Tafetta," replied Lara.
"Why do you dare to come with me? I could have done evil to you. You don't know me at all" Silas said.
"I'm not afraid of anything. If you do anything to me I'll save myself by killing you or killing myself" Lara replied coldly.
Silas immediately laughed at Lara's words that seemed very brave to him because no one had ever dared to talk carelessly to her.
"How old are you, little girl?" ask Silas.
"18 years. I just graduated from school and have been accepted into a university with a scholarship program. But there is someone who destroys my dream with his slander" Lara replied with an explanation that Silas was not really asking.
"So that's why you wanted to kill yourself? Your mentality is very weak," said Silas laughed softly.
"No, I'm just too tired. You don't know what I've been through and I don't have to tell you that" Lara replied with a look outside the car.
"I'll give you up if you want that. Today my mood is very good. Be thankful for that. My big project went well today. And you were lucky to appear in front of me today," Silas said with a slanted smile.
Lara looked at Silas. He doesn't know what's going to happen in the future. This action was indeed a recklessness and he called this 'fate' because God did not allow him to die today and instead met a rich old man who would even pay for his college.
He just thought God must have other plans for him and this time he would not waste it and would become a tough woman with selfish feelings.
Yes, this time Lara decided to be a selfish person who would be more selfish than others.
He thinks helping others is useless because no one cares about him.
