Month passed. Lara's life goes pretty smoothly without interference from anyone including Davina.
Next month, Lara will be entering college. He was very excited about going to his first lecture.
Lara had already finished all the administrative affairs of her lecture. And he is quite optimistic that he will go through his studies smoothly and quickly.
He will also undergo a fast track program so that his lectures can be completed faster. And Lara is very confident that she can run the program well.
Lara still works at the restaurant. His dexterity at work makes the boss like him. And also with his workmates. Lara has always been light-handed to help her co-workers and does so with sincerity.
"Lara, can you replace my night shift job? I'll have family needs. My brother is going to have a birthday tonight" said Vera-a co-worker of Lara.
"Yes, I can" Lara replied smiling.
"Thank you, Lara. You're always nice" Vera replied, kissing Lara's cheek.
Lara is happy to have a good and humble working environment. He has a family and friends that he never had.
Lara then changes her uniform to a maid uniform to replace Vera. In the dressing room, he saw Beatrix sitting with a sad face there.
"Are you okay?" ask Lara while changing her clothes.
"I'm in trouble" said Beatrix.
"What's wrong? What about your family again?" ask Lara who is now more talkative and care about the surrounding environment since working at the restaurant.
Beatrix just nodded. Beatrix was silent for a long time and Lara patted him on the shoulder.
"What's wrong? Maybe I can help" said Lara standing in front of Beatrix.
"My father ... He owes it again" said Beatrix.
"Then?" ask Lara.
"The centenary threatened to sell me if we didn't pay my father's debt" Beatrix replied.
"Is this gambling debt?" ask Lara to be concerned.
Beatrix nodded.
"How much do you need. Maybe I can only help a little" Lara said.
"I'll help you. I got a little savings from my scholarship. I rarely wear it" Lara said.
Beatrix turned her head and looked at Lara's face.
"Really?" ask Beatrix.
Lara nodded confidently then Beatrix hugged her tightly.
"Thank you, Lara. You are the best. I'm very lucky to meet you" Beatrix said.
"That's it. I just want to help. I'll transfer it to your account later" said Lara.
"Hmm, I'll send my savings account number through the message to you" Beatrix replied with a face sumringah.
"Yes, I'll transfer it now then. I'm afraid I'll forget" said Lara who then took her phone.
Lara does have a lot of savings from Harlow who routinely sends her money. But Lara rarely wears it because she is trying to save money that she can use if there is a sudden need.
After transferring the money to Beatrix's account, she walks out of the locker room to return to work in place of Vera's shift.
"Thank you, Lara. I'll replace it soon" Beatrix said as Lara held onto the doorknob.
Lara looked over and smiled.
Lara's work went well and Lara helped her co-workers clean up the restaurant until midnight.
Lara left the restaurant to go home. He walked on a road that was quiet enough to head for the underground station.
"Lara, let's take you. It's late" said Paige - the chef of the restaurant - from her car.
"No need, Madam. Station close to this. I can walk on my own" replied Lara.
"Alright, be careful on the road, Lara," Paige smiled.
Lara smiled back and nodded then walked back to the station.
